Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: SWEETS if i dont have something sweet with my coffee I am not a happy mama. Me and my husband also love to eat out so its really making me fat.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have being feeling sick. evrything hurts my back my legs . I am always tired. My sex life has diminish . I dont feel sexy anymore so when i am making love all i can think is LOVEHANDLES. Evryone see that i have let my self go . And i'm tired of shopping for bigger clothes .

I am tired of shopping in the "plus" sections, and tired of feeling grateful that my husband loves me......(I have a WONDERFUL husband who thinks I am beautiful)

Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: I've been trying to lose weight for forever, but I'm officially on track as of yesterday, so October 24th, 2007

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: not allowing my medical problems to stop me from moving. Thyroiditis, Dystautonomia, a fractured vertabrae, and bulging discs to name a few obsticles... have held me back from getting the exercise I so badly need.
Following any specific plan: I've been a vegetarian for over five years, and I hardly ever eat over 1000 calories. At the moment I'm on FitDay recording everything I consume, and it's basically just water, fruit, veggies, soup, whole wheat pita, and a little bit of peanut butter.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm more desperate and determined than ever before. I need to get the weight off of my back or else I'm going to end up needing surgery. Also, I'm seeing everyone around me shedding thier extra pounds, and I'm feeling pretty darn jealous... I live a skinny person's lifestyle and it's about time I have the bod to show for it!
Anything else you would like to share with us: Any tips on exercises for gal's with orthostatic intolerance / heart conditions / or PARS defects (lol agh) would be much appreciated!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I am a SAHM so I can go to the kitchen anytime I want. I tend to eat when I bored so that is a big hurdle for me.
Following any specific plan: Trying to follow the WW plan at home, counting points, etc.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am just really motivated to lose this weight once and for all. It is by far the biggest stress that I have. I think about it countless times a day and it would be sooo nice to not have this hanging over my head anymore.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: This is really my first serious attempt at losing weight. In the past I have tried to just eat healthier and that never really worked. I have a good reason for sticking with it this time and wanting to look good-I have to look good in that bridesmaid dress!

Following any specific plan: Not really. Just trying to control my portions, eat healthy foods, and exercise 6 days a week, at least 30 minutes a day.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: i like food a lot, especially in social situations (like to go out to dinner, etc). i also have a horrible caffiene addiction. I love my dr. pepper too much, and the diet stuff just doesnt seem to cut it. also i have extremely slow metabolism so I could work out for a couple hours a day for a week and lose nothing, even when i cut out the soda. that is very discouraging.
Following any specific plan: i'm taking a friends advice and counting calories and keeping track of everythng in a little notebook. i was doing pretty good for a while there. even lost 17 pounds, then i totally fell off the wagon and gained 14 of them back. im going to try it again and hopefully not fall of the wagon this time.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: i need to stay focused. plus im hoping this online support group thing will help keep me motivated.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I recall being made fun of in kindergarten, kids saying that I was too fat to have friends. I've never been a "normal" healthy weight. I dont even have a clue what I would look like if I did lose 100 pounds. Heck, I was in middle school the last time I weighed less than 200 pounds...I know that I am very unhealthy with where I am right now and I do not want to die young. I have a good man in my life now and I hope to live a long life with him and have a family and watch them grow. I need to lose weight if I'm going to do that.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Eating out - now that we live back near family and friends there are constant celebrations (birthdays galore, bachelorettes, etc). I think my biggest problem is that I am so busy during the day that I literally never eat...then come 6-7 pm (dinner and after) I pig out, then go to bed. It is a very very bad schedule I have been on for some time now. I also love carbs.
Following any specific plan: Going to start up on watching my WW points again. Going to try my hardest to eat during the day, making lunch my largest. Exercise. Healthier choices in food and drink. Smaller portions.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Well I haven't lost any weight yet but....I feel different this time because we really would like to try for baby #2. I was a skinny girl when I was pregnant with my son but had eclampsia. If I am this heavy at the start of pregnancy, it may be worse for myself and baby the next time around. I want to lose this weight before getting pregnant to hopefully lessen my chances of being high risk. Not to mention I am SICK of being overweight.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am just ready for the pounds to come off.
