Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Giving up fast food and pizza. My boyfriend and I are busy and aren't exactly the best cooks, so for around 9 months, we had been having fast food several times a week and packing on even more pounds. I'm cooking a lot more and shopping for healthy options. Pepsi was also hard, I had at least a Pepsi a day since, well, as far back as I remember. I crave sweets a lot as well, but have some low calorie/fat options to slowly get myself away from them totally.
Following any specific plan: Not really. I don't really know any plans, so I'm just watching what I eat and being more active. Food diaries have been the absolute best thing for me, I have never had any idea how many calories I was consuming. Now that I do, I am managing them a lot better.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Motivation. I've never had it before, but now I do. I am happy for the first time and just want the outside to match the inside. I'm planning for the future (job, babies, etc) and want to be healthy for all the stuff I have to look forward to!

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Health problems, ive never had anything really serious, never had a doctor tell me i need to lose weight but recently my feet and legs started swelling so bad that it hurt to walk. So after a trip to the doctor and learning it could be a lot more serious then I thought, we both agreed it was time for me to do something about it. So here I go....

Present Weight: 232 I didn't lose anything on the scale after my first week of dieting and exercising, but I did lose a 1/2 inch in my waist and a 1/2 in my hips.
