Good morning
The good news is that I got some decent exercise in yesterday......lifted some weights (arm and leg); did situps and stretches; did recumbent bike. The bad news is that I took in too much......2030 calories. I got into the little snickers bars at mom and dad's (left over from halloween). But they tasted so good! I am lacking commitment to weight loss. Will try again today.
Today's Plan: 1200-1500 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, vit/min/cal supp., situps and stretches, recumbent bike.

1 Peter 1:8-9
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Stephanie always had a picture of what she would look like in the back of her mind. She used to dream of how she would look once she lost weight. It was hard to imagine, but she did it anyway. That dream gave her motivation. Though she didn't really know what she'd look like, her imagination kept her on the right path. Faith means acting on what we believe, even when we can't actually see the object of our faith. Faith in God teaches us how to put faith in action. When we are motivated by what we do not yet see, we find strength and joy in the living of our lives.
Today's thought: In my mind I see a whole new me!

Hello to all
Yesterday was not a good day calorie wise, I stopped counting around 1500, so I am guessing somewhere around 2,000+???
No workout either, my knee was giving me pain. I think I may push too hard some days when I work out, or else I am sitting too long without breaks. I just don't know
WI about the same hovering between 149-151. Darn those oreo's
Today I am doing a brine on a chicken to roast tonight, I have not done that before. I have this old George Foreman roaster that I use. I don't even know if you can find them anymore.
this is short today, DH wants to go do something but just don't know what yet...so back later

Hi Everyone!
Today my friends from church and I went to a new breakfast/lunch place. The menu was VERY limited. One portion of the menu was breakfast and the other was Mexican. I didn't like the options at all. There was no salads, grilled chicken sandwiches, etc. So, I decided to order Mexican. At least I would have something that I liked. I don't know the calories, though. ( I just googled and came up with some calories)
Total Approx 1610 calories +
Breakfast ( 320 calories & )
2 Siggi's yogurtS 220 calories
banana 100 calories
coffee w/cream & sugar
Lunch ( 750 Calories)
2 chicken enchilada's w/side of refried beans 750 calories
Dinner (540 Calories)
chicken noodle soup with added veggies 300 calories
yasso mint chip frozen yogurt 100 caloires
dark chocolate 140 calories
Exercise:
1 hour outdoor walk
Have a Blessed evening!

Hi!
Diana: It's anxiety producing when the menu doesn't match up to your needs. I dined at one place where you could not get a salad, unless you bought the salad bar option and that was too much for me. Some restaurants have a hidden menu, but you have to ask about it.
Rachel: I was glad when the Snickers were gone...
Nancy: Hope your knee pain is not chronic...
I did my 5 days of biking/swimming this week. I am happy to be back working out. I biked/swam yesterday. I also did exercises all week including yesterday... Diet was good 2 days ago except for a small piece of chocolate cake. Diet was good yesterday, but I have been doing some stress eating in the middle of the night... I did some more gardening 2 days ago. I am putting gravel on top of my plants in window boxes to protect them from freezing... I hope that we have some more warm days. I'd like to do some weeding, etc....

Good Morning, Everyone!
I am up .4 from yesterday, which is not bad at all. Also, like I said before, in the past, if I have had to eat something off plan, it would trigger me to continue to eat off plan the rest of the day. I did not do this and ate a healthy dinner.
Teri Great job on the exercise!

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Mary took comfort from the gospels. Whenever she felt sorry for herself, she looked at the Bible. She couldn't believe all that Jesus had done and suffered. He had so much, and He emptied Himself to give to others. In the end, He received eternal glory. What a wonderful lesson. Dieting is a temporary and comparatively minor sacrifice, compared with Christs sacrifice. And yet, as Christ triumphed over His situation, so shall we triumph over ours. Christ is our example in all things. The Author and Finisher of our faith has shown us the way to victory, and we share in His joy when we triumph in our own lives.
Today's thought: What I suffer today is worth the victory tomorrow!
