Default Good morning

Ciecie, my parents and I get our COVID boosters on November 17. Ours is Moderna. What is yours? How are you feeling this morning?

I took in around 1800 calories yesterday, Overdid it on taco casserole, which I'd made for my parents. Did some weightlifting. This afternoon I hope and plan to get some outdoor work done today since it's supposed to be nice.

Today's Plan: 1200-1400 calories, 2 liters water, veggies, vit/min/cal supp.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yes, Ciecie how are you feeling? My DH had no side effects, while most of the people I know had flu like symptoms.

Steps from yesterday: 5,426

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

It really wasn't fair that so many thin people couldn't understand what it meant to be fat. Patty got mad when skinny friends chastised her for not sticking to her diet better. What did they know? Patty was always so thankful to God for what weight she'd been able to lose already that she could never understand why her friends put her down. Didn't they know what she had to sacrifice? Whenever Patty got mad at her friends, she asked God to help calm her down. His peace filled her heart, and she was able to relax. God had done so much for her while she dieted. Too bad her friends couldn't see it.

Today's thought: God is with me when it feels like the world is against me!

Good morning! Rachel, I got the Moderna shot. Diana, I felt run down for a couple of days after my second Moderna shot in April. My arm is sore today. Will have breakfast and work out in a few minutes. 😁🍀😷❤️

Good Morning!

Nancy: Glad I could help you out... I don't know if you have a Blair store near you (for returns?). Amazon has a new center near me...for returns and maybe pickups?

Diana: Glad I could help you out, too.

Rachel: Taco casserole sounds really tempting...

I did 15 minutes biking yesterday and 20 minutes water walking and 20 laps backstroke (just arms). Diet was okay except for pumpkin cookie which I mentioned yesterday and a snack size cinnamon caramel shake. It tasted like vanilla. I had half in the afternoon and half at midnight...Today, I made some cheesy flat bread with cherry tomatoes and olive oil. I think it needed some garlic and onion. The pumpkin cookies are all gone. I wish that I could have one today... I have big cravings for red meat after I work out. Sometimes, I buy a snack size sandwich.

I have been watching these YouTube Vegas buffets...I have no desire to eat there, because I eat small amounts of food in one setting and I don't like feeling stuffed. But occasionally, I get some ideas for cooking, and some of the desserts are petite and pretty. Oh, a family member went to Boston Market for lunch and they were out of the foods she wanted. I don't know if this is usual. We stopped at one last year near Thanksgiving and they had next to no food...

Hi!

It is late.

I cooked up some couscous tonight. Maybe I will make some tabouli tomorrow. I also cooked up some chicken and vegetables. I put some in a bowl with a little of the couscous and added some slices of onion and a clove of garlic and ate that. I am feeling better with that in my belly. Diet was okay today, except for a serving of peanut butter stuffed pretzels.

I did some exercises today. Hope that you had a great weekend.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I was exhausted last night and didn't check in. I went to bed early. Yesterday morning I woke way too early, 3:30 am, and couldn't go back to sleep.

Yesterday's workout Jessica Smith's Steppin Strength.

Steps from yesterday: 7,374

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week.

November 8

1 Thessalonians 3:9
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God.

Gail wished she could do more for Mrs. Cooper. One night Mrs. Cooper had passed by her apartment and heard Gail crying. She stopped to see if there was anything she could do to help. Gail told her about her diet and how hard it was. Mrs. Cooper had been very sympathetic, and had spent many hours with her since. She helped take Gail's mind off food. Gail really felt strongly that she wouldn't have made it through the diet without Mrs. Cooper. We have someone who will listen to us when things get to be too much for us. That someone is God, and we can be thankful that He is ever with us, ready to listen to the concerns of our hearts.

Today's thought: Let your praises to God be louder than the grumblings of your stomach!
