Good Morning, Everyone!
Something positive, I did not gain from the church Thanksgiving.
Steps from yesterday: 12,106
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week!
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

Psalm 147:1, 3
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
It was more than a diet. For Gary, it was his sanity. He had been obsessed by his weight. He had lived the past three years in a deep and terrible depression. When he was at his lowest, God broke through to him. God turned Gary's life around. He finally began losing weight, and his state of mind improved dramatically. The light of God tore through his darkness with a beautiful healing warmth. Gary was healed of his physical affliction as well as the demon of depression that haunted him. God truly has the power to heal His children. No matter what the problem might be, take it to the Lord.
Today's thought: My diet affects more than just my body; it affects my heart and mind, as well!

Yeah Diana no gain from pre-turkey turkey dinner
WI down .2 ok will take it
WO I am changing things up at the gym. 30 min treadmill, power walk alternating with jogging (slow 4.5) every 2-3 minutes. Sometimes I can jog longer sometimes it takes longer for me to recover. Then 30 min in the Planet Fitness circuit room, 1-2x per machine depending on how many people are in there. Usually it has only been me and 3 other 'older' ladies LOL
I am getting ready for my turkey dinner on Thursday. The Menu:
Turkey
Mashed potatoes with gravy (of course)
Stove top stuffing (I know this is a cheat)
Homemade stuffed braided garlic bread
Green Salad
Homemade cinnamon rolls for desert hot out of the oven
Snacks while we play games:
Veggie tray with hummus and ranch dressing
Cheddar and Swiss cheese slices and crackers
Maybe a glass or two of white wine.
Thankfully this is only twice a year menu

Good Evening!
Diana: Yeah! Way to go!
Nancy: I used to bake a turkey breast and then freeze it in little bags. That was good. It lasted for a long time.
Rachel: Sometimes the autosave doesn't work. I don't know why...
I had only a sliver of cake today and a tablespoon of ice cream and a couple of chocolate covered almonds...It could be a lot worse. And my weight is okay. No gain from the past couple of days...//I biked and swam and did exercises today. Now I am feeling tired and really cold. I need to get a blanket...

Hi!
Nancy: Surprise! We are all coming to your house for Thanksgiving! Can't wait. ... My family used to do pot luck Thanksgiving. I really liked that. Covid 19 ended that... I am trying really hard to stay on track for the rest of the year...I don't know if that is compatible with holidays...
I am feeling really cold this am. I slept under two comforters...
My feet are hurting this am. I don't know if I did too much exercise yesterday, or it's too cold, or if it is diet...HoHum.

Good morning again! Teri, I always sleep under a top sheet, two blankets, a bedspread and a comforter during the winter months. Still haven’t had breakfast and worked out but will do so in a few minutes. 😁🍀😷❤️

Good Morning, Everyone!
Thank you for the support about not gaining. These days, I celebrate the little things.

Matthew 13:45-46
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.'
A diet that worked! It wasn't anything fancy. It wasn't anything expensive. It didn't involve equipment or special treatments. In fact, it was a diet that anyone could do. Sally sat and talked with her pastor for about an hour, and he helped her see why she should diet for her own good, as well as for God. Her pastor has been a support for her ever since, and she has included God every step of the way. She feels stronger than ever before. It is like finding a treasure. She was so excited and so thankful. God has given her something that no one else can: a better figure and a deep, abiding joy.
Today's thought: My weight will be lost, no matter the cost!

Everyone is welcome to come on over! I have a 17lb turkey for 5 people LOL
I do like the thought of a potluck and may steal that idea for Christmas Eve. The problem is my mom is 87 and really does not cook much anymore but if I suggest something she would make it. Then you have my two brothers, one a confirmed bachelor at 65 and a 2x divorced 60 yr. Neither cook LOL BUT I may make some strong suggestions.
With all my children and grandchildren out of state there are just the 5 of us 'family' members left to fill the table. But then in the next few years we plan to sell here in the PNW and move east. We have not found the perfect destination yet but we will!
WI up .2 ah well fluctuations
WO none today, I am sore from yesterday so I skipped today so my steps will be super duper low
I am making homemade re-fried beans and Mexican rice to go with Taco Tuesday tonight. I just tasted the beans from the instant pot and they are sooo yummy. I also found a great recipe for the Mexican rice. It's going to be a rolly polly night here at this chicks house
