Good Evening:
Diana: I don't deliberately take naps, but if I sit in a lounge chair with my feet up under a blanket in front of the tv, it is easy to nod off.
Nancy: How nice that people appreciate your work.
No exercise, but I watered plants and I ate pretty healthy. I am trying to figure out some computer stuff tonight.

Good Morning, Everyone!
Nancy Last night I used 3 good sized zucchini. I googled med size and it said 33 calories. So the calories are pretty close to that. I chewed a couple pieces of gum yesterday and had a couple mints. That's why I round up. I hate naming each and every piece of gum and mint, etc.
Ciecie I just prayed for you.
ITACHI Hi and welcome to the check-in.
Last night: Basic stretches
This morning: Oxycise
Calories for yesterday: 1210 +
Weigh In: 189
Down: .4
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week.
I can completely relate to today's devotion.

Job 1:21
'. . .Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.'
Stella was extremely frustrated. She had worked so hard to lose weight. She had done a great job, but now it was even harder to keep it off. She felt she was doing a good job of eating the right foods in small quantities, but when she'd step on the scales, she would find her weight creeping up. She always thought that once she got her weight down, everything would be easy. Boy, was that false! Weight-watching was a full-time job! Stella used to pray for God to keep her in line, but now the prayers were needed all the time. It just went to prove that nothing could be taken for granted. Good things don't come easy, but they're still worth having.
Today's thought: Lord, give me strength, but take my weight problem!

I'm back!
HI Chicks, I'm back, but this is just a quick check-in. May not be able to do a decent post til Wednesday. Have missed you all tremendously!!!! I never had any symptoms of Covid during my quarantine; nor have my parents. I praise the Lord! My husband is back at work, though still feeling fatigue. Will check in again in a day or two.

Hi, hanging in there with the new job transition. I need a break which I will take during thanksgiving week. dropped another pound and some with a new end goal of 187 lbs. I am considering writing a story on my weight loss journey for a mental break from work.

Luke 19:40
And he answered and said unto them, 'I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.'
Preston could hardly contain his excitement as the plane approached its landing. He hadn't seen his sister in over a year. At their last meeting he had weighed about 260 pounds. Now, he was a trim 180. He couldn't wait to see her face. He never remembered being so anxious to see anyone before in his life. It was important to him to please his family, and he knew nothing would please his sister more than to see him looking so good. God give us such experiences to make our sacrifices worthwhile. We can be thankful that God motivates us in such loving ways. With His blessed help, we can't keep from succeeding.
Today's thought: I want others to see me like they've never seen me before!

Welcome back Rachel!
WI up 1.8....sheesh the sodium monster has grabbed me 162.4...oh to be back under 156 again...I will get there
WO, I pulled a muscle somehow yesterday and today I can't even move, tried some gentle stretching and even that was beyond a challenge.
The new job is going well but I have so much to learn. The vocabulary is like a foreign language, I know I will catch on but it is a challenge. Did I mention it is soo cold in that building. I am in a small enclosed office with a wall heater, but you step outside and boom it is colder there than outside. It has to do with the volume of marble all the way up the walls. Anyway as long as you stay in one office area or another it is ok...lol
ok I am off since I tried to WO in the form of stretches and that failed this am
back later

Good Morning!
Nancy: I did have a sundae, but otherwise I did pretty good.
CieCie: Hope your surgery went great and that you heal quickly.
Rachel: So glad you are back and your family is doing well.
usc: Keep up the good work, but have a great break too!
I finally walked last night. Diet was okay except for a piece of pumpkin pie and a small frappe.
I am reading a good book called The Lying Life of Adults. I have only read a couple of chapters...and I am thinking there is a secret and maybe I figured it out... Lena Ferrante is a great Italian author and she has someone translate her books into English. I read My Brilliant Friend and its sequels a few years ago, and watched some of the books on HBO.
