Good afternoon! Welcome Cartz007! Took the bus to a neighboring community today. I had to go for a COVID test this afternoon. I was able to get in earlier than scheduled so I was able to get the 1:15 bus home instead of the 4:00 bus. I have a load of laundry in the dryer and one in the washer now. Iíll hook up the dishwasher when the washer is done. Iíll go for a power walk and run errands after the dryer is done. 😁❤️

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

It really wasn't fair that so many thin people couldn't understand what it meant to be fat. Patty got mad when skinny friends chastised her for not sticking to her diet better. What did they know? Patty was always so thankful to God for what weight she'd been able to lose already that she could never understand why her friends put her down. Didn't they know what she had to sacrifice? Whenever Patty got mad at her friends, she asked God to help calm her down. His peace filled her heart, and she was able to relax. God had done so much for her while she dieted. Too bad her friends couldn't see it.

Today's thought: God is with me when it feels like the world is against me!

Good Morning!

Nancy: Hope you get in the swing of things real fast.
CieCie: It is good that you live somewhere where public transportation is reliable. I think it would be nice to take a bus or a train somewhere local. You sound like you are keeping really busy.
Welcome Mastakaos!
Diana: Do you take a nap during the day, when you wake up early?
Hi Cartz: I too think a good breakfast is a good way to get started on wt. loss.

No exercise lately, but I have been eating a salad everyday!

Teri I do not nap, no matter how tired I am. I probably should, LOL. Do you nap during the day? I know a lot of people do.

Good afternoon to all
WI down a bit today but not sure why 160.4, had 2 slices of veggie pizza last night an a few adult beverages

Today will be a quiet day which i am thankful for. DH and I had to go to the local Tandy Leather Store, he needed a piece of leather tor a customer to refinish a leather top desk...anyway while we were in there (the only customers LOL) was talking to the two gals and showed them some pictures of the rocks I have painted and canvases....they liked them so what do I do??? Well I go back out to my car grab my bag of painted rocks and bring them in, showed them to the girls and asked them pick one out to keep...as they oohed and awed I left the whole pile for them LOL it was priceless to see their happy faces. This is why I paint

1 Thessalonians 3:9
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God.

Gail wished she could do more for Mrs. Cooper. One night Mrs. Cooper had passed by her apartment and heard Gail crying. She stopped to see if there was anything she could do to help. Gail told her about her diet and how hard it was. Mrs. Cooper had been very sympathetic, and had spent many hours with her since. She helped take Gail's mind off food. Gail really felt strongly that she wouldn't have made it through the diet without Mrs. Cooper. We have someone who will listen to us when things get to be too much for us. That someone is God, and we can be thankful that He is ever with us, ready to listen to the concerns of our hearts.

Today's thought: Let your praises to God be louder than the grumblings of your stomach!
