Default New here! Need to lose weight for my health!

Hello all! I'm Mj! I've been wanting to lose weight since I had my baby in 2012, but now I've come to the point where I feel I NEED to lose the weight for my over all health. My periods we're getting longer, my blood pressure and blood sugar is getting higher, as well as low good cholesterol. I have to sleep more inclined, I have hardly any energy and I feel like all this weight is literally killing me!
I'm 24 and 5'5, I weighted about 133 maybe less than that (size 4) before I got pregnant, then shot up about 90 lbs to 125 my weight has yo yo'd for a multitude of reasons, Birth control, crash diets, health/sickness, stress, depression ect. I went down to 175 a few months after giving birth then shot back up. I seemed to stay around 175-182 for about a year or so then I got sick from a parasitic infection from a lake in my area. I went from about 182 to 155. Within about a year I crawled back up to the 190s and now I'm around 205. (Size 16)
I need help y'all! I'm a stay at home mom so I don't have gym as an option but I can do home stuff like run, push ups, ect. Also pointers with food could help. Can someone give me advice on how to lose this weight? I'm seriously concerned for my life at this point as well as me and my husband had been ttc #2 for almost 3 years and I'm ready to get back down to 130 and to be healthy again!
Thank you all in advance!

Good Morning! 191.2 NEW LOW! Woot woot woot!!

It has been awhile since I have had steady drops through the week. Have dog training this am so not much time to log. Will catch up with personals later.

Yesterday ate 1004 calories, walked 12,634 steps,35 grams of fiber
Today planning on 1158 calories, Walking as much as I can, 30 grams of fiber - times will be a bit messed up

Breakfast will be Greek yogurt and banana
Lunch will be Tuna with lots of celery, onions, carrots, mayo also konsyl in water after training.
Dinner will be Tofu with cauliflower rice, onions and peppers

Trying to keep from "having to go" until I get home because there are no bathrooms in the woods . So not putting much on my stomach until afterwards.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Babymj77 Hi and welcome to the check-in.

grannynancy Congrats on the new low!

Yesterday I had something questionable (no calories/very low calorie) just to test things out and I showed a bit of a reaction on my mouth. It wasn't much, since I have really limited things, but still noticeable. Today I showed a gain on the scale, but think it is from the tacos with their sauce for dinner. Not fretting over that. I do feel my calories were fine.

Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout

Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 189.8
Up: 1 pound

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 3

Matthew 28:20
'teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.' Amen.

A friend of mine fasts regularly, and to my astonishment, he never complains or seems to be the least bit ruffled by the experience. For myself, I find that fasting changes my whole disposition. I asked him his secret once, and he said, 'It's no secret, really. All I do is pretend that the empty feeling in my stomach is really the Holy Spirit moving around, making itself comfortable inside. That way, the gnawing isn't unpleasant but it's quite comforting to think that God is so very close.' I tried to follow my friend's advice, and it has worked wonders for me. Try it today.

Today's thought: I will let my hunger turn my mind to God!

Good morning to all
WI same.....166.2 this is day 3 and I was so hoping to see 165 by Monday.

Welcome babymj77, I wish I could give you advice on how to lose but for me it is such and individual journey. Find a lifestyle you can stick with. For me it just happens to be low carb with a window of an eating period of 8 hours during the day, others here do keto, low calorie, intermittent fasting.

So today I have no big plans other than take a good walk and hide some of my rocks I have finished, I have a whole bag that needs to go out for adults and kids alike to find.

Then mostly errands....oh and a new shower door for our bathroom seems I have managed to almost completely break the door that is in there now LOL...really it is a long story

good morning all,
145.7 this morning

I'm still around, had a bout with TTOM and then sliced my fingertip on the mandolin slicer, be careful slicing potatoes. (not sliced off, but finally able to not wear a bandaid all day...)

Hope everyone is doing well, can't believe it's March already!

Diana it was 6 weeks since my last TTOM, this one knocked me for a loop. I think it's good now, once again, I hope it's the last. I've been taking B vitamins, seems to help me with mood swings, I don't know who that crabby old lady is that takes over some time. Hope you, DH and Cody are doing well.

GrannyNancy you are killing it!!

I'll have to catch up and continue personals later.

Hope everyone has a great day

Smile March 2018

Hi Everyone! Thanks for your responses.

I got a head ache today...but not too bad. Grocery shopped yesterday, but then I bought a dollar double stack and a junior frosty. So I am up a pound. Ouch! But it could be much worse. Today, I had two cups of green tea. I worked out for an easy 90 minutes. So, I feel pretty good. It is time to reach my second goal. I bought lots of healthy food. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Good evening to all,
Have met my step goal today so yeah
Have had a somewhat busy day, I just made some incredible veggie soup with onion, pepper, celery, cabbage, tomato, green bean, parsnip, carrot, corn and garbanzo beans and well the kitchen sink LOL the secret broth?? made with some V8 juice. It is so good, DH and I have already had two helpings each.

Not sure if I ever mentioned this before but live near a vegetable stand and they sell local produce from the valley by me as well as import fruits and veggies when out of season. Today I tried a melogold, it is a fruit larger than a grapefruit and in the grapefruit family but sweet and tart all at the same time. If you ever spot one I highly recommend it! I just sliced it and just two slices was like the best dessert in the world
