Good Morning 192.8 a drop but I expected it. At my lowest. Apparently the added fiber did help a lot. Today my intake will be 35 grams and at least 90 oz of water.

Yesterday I ate 1176 calories and today is planned for 1129. I walked 13,243 steps. Not sure I can get my steps today and tonight is acupuncture night. I am going to make a genuine effort.

By eating closer to 1200 calories I am going to have to exercise more to burn more. I think that may mean more steps every hour and more fitness things through the day in addition to my 4 miles walking the neighborhood. I am also really going to have to up the ante on my walks because my heart rate is not getting up there like it used to.

Today's food plan
Breakfast - greek yogurt, blueberries, flax seed, walnuts, 1 brazil nut, kefir AND psyllium (separate)
Lunch and Dinner (making it and splitting in two portions)- Eggplant, zucchini, peppers, onions, sauce, ground beef, cheese, tofu

Today may be a bit stressful. Big meeting to find out what is happening with our department vis a vis reorganization. This has been since January when we knew there would be big changes.

Good Morning, Everyone!

So, my mouth and eye areas have healed significantly. It's amazing how much healing has taken place in such a short period of time. I will continue to watch and monitor before I discuss it further. I always feel like such a freak with my weird issues and problems. Like I said before, I have had cycles of healing and flaring up before, so I will take a wait/watch and see attitude about it. I do want to say, what I think the problem is, I know I have been using at least since 2014, maybe longer. I got the final angioedema diagnosis in 2012, but had previous testing 1-2 years prior and wasn't given a diagnosis term for it. So I have been diagnosed twice with the angioedema. The test for angioedema is a blood test and I was tested by two different doctors from two different practices. So I feel confident with the actual diagnosis. I noticed the symptoms originally in 2008. This is all very interesting for me and I feel hopeful to get some relief. But I am still unsure of the long term symptom relief from the angioedema. Did I say that correctly? LOL Also, I feel different. All along I have felt like I have intense inflammation going on and I'm not feeling like that as much.

grannynancy Congrats on the new low and good luck with your challenging day.

Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout

I am still up from the binge earlier in the week. When I do it, I do it right. Maybe right isn't the correct term.

Calories for yesterday: 1540
Weigh In: 190.2

Have a Blessed day!

March 1

Romans 5:3

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience.

The growl of his stomach sounded like a ferocious beast. He felt light-headed and nervous. He kept telling himself that he couldn't really be hungry; it was just his imagination. The gnawing hunger would not abate. Before long he just felt like crying. As much as he wanted to lose weight, he just couldn't face the beast that growled in his midsection. In disgust, he pushed away from his desk and headed out to eat. A hard part of dieting is showing our stomach who is boss. When our stomachs rule, we lose. Turn to the Lord when weakness sets in. He will see us through.

Today's thought: I'm not letting my stomach push me around anymore!

Good morning and woo hoo new month new goal
WI down.6, 166.2
So I have been thinking, I have not set any monthly goals in a long time and maybe that is what I need to focus again? Anyway going to try it and aim for a number I am sure I can attain. 162.0 I know it is only 4lbs but I need a victory.

Diana glad things are looking up
Granny yeah new low

Saw 261 this morning. Happy to see any kind of progress. Breakfast was too heavy as we had breakfast for dinner yesterday and I had leftovers (a biscuit, a few bites of egg, 2 tiny homemade beef sausages, etc.). I'll try to make up for it with a simple cereal lunch. Working from home today. Ceicei, enjoy your day off!

Loved the squatty potty. ha ha Kind of looks handy. I'm now super curious about these other kegel recommendations too. I'll have to do some research.

Hope everyone has a good one!

This may help. A lot of folks have "too tight" pelvic floor muscles. I do! My last two movements in a row have been EASY and natural following her training and guidance - yay. The PT puts little electrodes on you and measures your intensity and relaxation with a gauge which you can see real time on a computer. I never had the pain the woman in the story has.

Hello!

I am following a keto diet and doing weight training/cardio. I just started 8 days ago and I have lost 2 pounds although I have weighed the same for the last 4 days!

Well I got back from acupuncture and was so relaxed I put on my jammies and forget my last walk around the neighborhood. So only around 9100 steps today......

Nancy - looks like a plan - maybe visualizing that weight coming off will help with focus to get there.

Welcome midlife....
