Good Morning 192.4 but no bathroom trip yesterday but went this am after weighing. Ate about 1300 calories and walked 15,170 steps. Another day today of intense dog training. Will be glad when the test is over. But then Beau will get more intense work as a teammate will also be certifying him after I recertify him......... So he is a very happy dog!

Good Morning, Everyone!
"Science experiment" still going well.
Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout
Calories for yesterday: 1575 +
Weigh In: 189.8
No Change
Have a Blessed day!
I find today's devotion very comforting.
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
March 4
Psalm 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Jim's watch alarm beeped as the clock struck four. It sounded every hour and every half hour. I turned to him and asked him what he had set so many alarms for. 'I'm on a diet. Every time my watch goes off, I take a moment to say a prayer to God. It may sound crazy, but it has made this the easiest diet I've ever tried. It calms me down and gets my mind off food for awhile. I feel like I've got a partner, and you know, it's always easier to do something when you don't have to do it alone.'
Today's thought: I can be brave during the tough times, because God is with me!

Hi!
Happy Day!
I woke up with a headache this am. I still have a nasty cold. I stood by the stove breathing in steam while doing squats and other exercise. Feel a little like a ballerina at the barre (without the body).
Biked for over an hour (leisurely) at the Y followed by a leisurely swim in the pool. But it did not result in any weight loss. I am thinking...maybe too much exercise, maybe eating wrong food (2 servings of this TJ's maple walnut oat cereal). Well, I will have to see what tomorrow brings.
I am drinking some green tea.

Check in for this week. 229
I big bump upward , but I'm still happy with it being in 220s
And keep remembering to love my inner self no matter my appearance.
To live robustly no matter my weight.
I've not been jumping rope this week , I've had a bad experience switching into new shoes.
I feel like the fat. Pad on my heel has been damaged so I'm staying off it. Rest means rest.
I losta family member and there's lots of meals. So I've just been rearranging my house and cleaning out closets. It's been a roller coaster week. Ill look forward to getting back into health foods only after fasting trek. My short term goal is to reach 220. Then ramp up fasting/nutrition and exercise to get to 199.
It's a difficult balance. Building/maintaining muscle and losing fat.
Today I'm holding off for just one meal. It's cool outside but I'm going have a fire in the pit. I'll soak cedar paper in merlot , and soak wood chips in merlot . And smoke a salmon I've had in the freezer .
Yams w/cinnamon and turnip greens w/rosemary . Hoping that fat will help in healing my heal.
Then I plan to do a cleanse and a long bath. Just be good to myself today. So many blessings to be thankful for!

Down 2.4 lbs this week, looks like I am only losing every other week but it's not a gain so I am pleased. I got a Samsung galaxy gear yesterday to replace my fitbit as the fitbit wasn't counting steps while pushing a cart, we will see how the Samsung does in that category. I have them both on right now and the difference is a lot. My fitbit says 2,480 steps so far today and the Samsung says 754. Guess I will get on the treadmill later and see witch one is more accurate.

Good morning to everyone
WI 166.2 same this is day 4 with no change, and a bit frustrating as I have been watching what I eat so closely this past 7 days not a single day over calorie or carb. Calories 1250 and under carbs 20 and under and getting my steps in.
Oh well today will be errands and then down to the river to collect rocks to paint I have been painting mostly these silly ostrich's can't seem to get them out of my system. Similar to this https://goo.gl/images/4h469g
Ok I am off for today
Back later tonight

Good afternoon all,
146.2 this morning
up a little, not unusual for the weekend, still below my new hard stop of 150.
Nancy that ostrich is so cute! you're doing great, have you taken measurements, maybe you're getting smaller and the whoosh will follow.
Diana I love that devotion, and the day before, I just love 'lo, I wish we used it more in conversation, it's so pretty. I'm curious about your experiment, glad it's going well.
Stlrsgrl I've heard of some people wearing their fitness tracker on their ankle or tied into their shoe somehow. I don't have one, but I've heard you can buy a bigger band and wear it on your ankle.
SynergyFoo that sounds like an awesome way to smoke salmon.
Ciecie, GrannyNancy, Terri
Just got back from taking Hunter snow shoeing again, he has such a blast playing in the snow, it warms my heart. DH and I are going to the rail trail for an easier walk for humans .
hope everyone has a great day

kellijpa, I have done some research today and have read that the galaxy s2 doesn't start recording your steps until you have taken at least 10 steps so if I walk across my room and sit back down and it's less then 11 steps, it doesn't record those steps. I am assuming it doesn't see a need to if you are not going to keep moving, i am not sure but I guess that might be a good thing because I know when I hit 10,000 steps on that device that in reality, I have way more and I would rather have more than I think than less than I think if that makes sense. As far as walking on the treadmill, they seem to count the same.

Hi all
I am back. Gained 5 lbs in February. Just found out I have to go see my relatives for an event on April 15. So it will be diet time. The last time I saw them I was 12 lbs lighter. My goal is to lose 7 lbs in 5 weeks.
I see a lot of new "faces" here. And some whom I knew from before. So hello to all. And special hello to She who lovingly trends this community garden, Diana . I have all I can do to keep up with other online commitments. So I will be terrible with "personals". But I will do my level best.
My two biggest diet obstacles will be hot chocolate, salt and popchips. Some things never change!
Thank you Diana and all for being here. Sunday blessings to all.

Hi!
Headache was gone this afternoon, but now it is back. Need to figure out what I am eating wrong.
225/215.8/215
I guess I will look at labels.
I did a 30 min walk today. Ate chicken/broccoli, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and fruit.
