I got on the elliptical (less than 5 min.) and it developed a wild squeak tonight. Husband took over trying to fix it. Couldn’t figure it out.... hoping he can get it fixed tomorrow. Did some arm exercises with weights but not enough movement today. Rainy all day and getting cold again! We think we’re going to put an offer on that house... so scary and exciting.
Goodnight all!

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!
Everything is still going well with the "science experiment".
Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout
Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 188.8
Down: 1.4 pounds
Have a Blessed day and a great start to your weekend!
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
March 2
Deuteronomy 31:8
And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Sylvia was such a support. She really did know what the other women were going through. Not so long ago, Sylvia had weighed well over two hundred pounds. If anyone had earned the right to speak, it was Sylvia. Somehow it made it easier having someone around who was both sympathetic to the struggle and had been successful. Sylvia was indeed a blessing. It does help to have others around who have been down the road we are walking. These people can be a great source of comfort and courage. Thank God that these examples exist for us to follow. The Lord will not fail us.
Today's thought: I have no fear of failure, for the Lord is with me!

March 2018
Hi!
Wow! It is March already! Wish I have accomplished MORE! It's cold here and there is snow on the ground.
I have a bad cold and went to the doctor yesterday. I had to park in a further away garage and had difficulty finding my way out. And it was all I could do to walk back to the parking garage. I was so tired, I felt like sitting down on the ground in the rain...and then I had trouble finding my car.
I bought some small amounts of candy yesterday and ate a chicken snacker burrito. I said no ranch dressing and they put mannaise (spelling?) on it. Oh, well.
Weight still coming down:
225/216.8/215
I feel better when I eat more junk food...but then I gain weight. Need to grocery shop today: get almond milk and some fruits and veggies.

Good morning everyone
WI same 166.2 was really hoping to see a bit of a drop this am but maybe it will happen tomorrow I have been so mindful of my carbs and calories. This am I have to leave a bit early and stop by the store for salad stuff for lunch. What I had at the house started to go bad and nothing is worse than looking at romaine that has started to turn brown...yuck. I want what I eat to LOOK and taste good
Diana love today's devotional that is how I feel about this thread so many here have been there done that including you, you keep me going.
They are predicting snow here today, we have had a really odd winter but oh well. I was painting my rocks last night and ended up with a spiderman face and ladybug....got stuck on the color red LOL
Will try and check back in later today

Good Morning 192.8 again - BP 100/66 so maybe it wont be too long until I can get off the BP meds again
The daily consumption of about 35 grams of fiber is still helping greatly with things. Though I have to dance around supplements and my medicine with regards to timing.
Now to up the exercise which seems to be the biggest challenge, the more we lose the harder it is to lose because we are not working as hard for the same amount of exercise, our body needs fewer overall calories and we burn less when we do exercise. But I just can't see eating less or exercise all day so I guess I am going to have to make peace with a slowdown.
Did not get the steps in yesterday but will today. Today is planned for 1071 calories and I really can't slip on that.
Breakfast will be Greek yogurt with blueberries, kefir, and flaxseed
Lunch will be peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots, lentil pasta, tofu and spaghetti sauce
Dinner will be Cod and kale with onions and mushrooms
Dallasgirl. Glad to see the scale move for you! I forgot to mention that.
Nancy - oh yeah - splurge on those veggies and get the best you can! If it is on the edge it goes into the compost heap.
Teri hope you get to feeling better soon!

Good morning everyone, I am down 2 lbs this morning although my weigh day is sundays, I am pleased. I did my workout yesterday so my goal for today is to just get my 10,000 steps in and do some planks and squats and keep within my calorie range.

Just got to share
Tonight I made cauliflower Parmesan (used cauliflower in place of chicken breast) oh my stars I have a new meatless meal! Yes I did have to use a bit of coconut flour and a small amount of bread crumbs but it was worth the upped carb count. you coat the cauliflower with the flour, dip in egg, then crumbs...fry until golden on each side then layer with red sauce, Parmesan and pesto topped with mozzarella then bake 30 min till all gooey.
I have not plugged the recipe in to see the actual count but it will be worth the it. And a small head of cauliflower fills my lasagna pan. so more than enough for two
