Happy Monday Everyone) Welcome Casslill6! You have done great at losing 10 pounds in a month! All is well over here. I got some rest this weekend and feel good, Praise God! Plus, I ate on plan and exercised which also helped. Diana, hang in there and that weigh in is in the past now) Yes you are correct..strange how one an eat fewer calories and not feel hungry but eat THE WHOLE KITCHEN and feel hungry..HAHAHAHAHA Maybe it is the quality of the calories that make the difference. I too ate fewer calories yesterday and haven't felt too hungry this am. Magista, sorry about the fires and be careful. Ciecie, glad your Dad is hanging in there. Has anyone done classical stretch by Miranda Esmonde White? I found her on tv and really like her workouts. That's all for now, at work, getting ready to dive into the day. Have a great one!!

All
Wow, last week of July. I had a good weekend with some blips--a party which is always triggering, and yesterday cooking for the week and eating up refrig leftovers. But all in all, I am feeling great. The breathing exercise I do for stress and 'brain alignment' is working its magic. I overslept today even though I went to bed early-- maybe a sign of deep relaxation. Eating more carbs is doing wonders for my mood. I don't enjoy the snug feeling of my clothes at the moment, but I know I will let go of that weight when I am ready---I feel it coming.

Wishing everyone a great start to your week

Hi Gang! There are so many fires erupting! I am amazed by the piano teacher's total faith!!

Casslill6, I was wondering about Nutrisystem...How do you deal with real life, eating out, holidays, etc?

Breakfast: Had a Tangerine and Coffees
Lunch: Had a Total Health Green Drink of Apple, Ginger and Beets
Snack: Plan on a Handful of Nuts
Dinner: Plan on a Salad with Salmon
Already behind on my 8 Waters!!

Its actually pretty easy. they give you this great little book with a ton of restaurants and choices you can make instead of the nutrisystem food. Haven't dealt with any holidays as I'm only doing it for a couple of months.

Well hello again, 152.7. Exact same weight for 7 consecutive weigh ins. Better the same than up! I haven't been exercising, so maybe I've just stumbled upon my exact maintenance calories at this weight.

I hope you all have a good day!

Welcome, Casslil!

TOM + The heat are killing me! I'm getting my workouts in but not nearly as much as I could be if it was a little cooler outside and I could walk outside during my lunch. TOM has me eating everything I see to. Scale tomorrow is going to suck. My low is 131 and the weigh in this morning was 138.2 tomorrow will be probably 140 because of my AF and bad eating choices. So I try to do well the rest of the night and restart tomorrow. I am thinking about doing an 8 hour fast tomorrow to try to clear the bad foods out of my system. Has anyone on here fasted before?

Today was okay. For the most part I ate clean and healthy but I met my kryptonite: pudding. I don't normally cheat but I can't stop eating pudding. It's not like I had an excessive amount of it but the amount of sugar in a single serving is 19 grams which is something I should not be eating!! The rest of my food choices were good and I did work out and get in my 10,000 steps.
