I had to delete some friends on facebook, too, because their postings were very offensive. they never requested my friendship back.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Thank you very much for the info on facebook. It has been helpful. Wow! Ugh, at the potential drama.

I have FINALLY lost some water weight! I have been able to feel the swelling. I have finally rid myself of the birthday gain. I was hoping to maintain through the month but I am still up about 3 pounds or so. "Events" cause me too many problems. I had the 4th of July, wedding, and my birthday.

Where would I find ad blocker on my computer? I don't have problems with pages loading on other sites. This site is about to drive me crazy with whatever they have going on. I need to set up the new check-ins but will have to wait until I get to the office.

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Level 2 workout

Calories for yesterday: 1495 +
Weigh In: 171.2
Down: 1.6 pounds

Have a great day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotional for Dieters

July 30

Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.

Alice was right: Doug had been doing his diet halfway. His heart hadn't really been in it, and Alice asked him why he was even doing it at all. Now, he felt he was ready. Alice had offered the challenge, and he aimed to take her up on it. No more halfway measures: he was going to throw all his energy and commitment into losing some weight. God wants us to mean what we say. Our yes must mean yes, and our no must mean no. Whatever we choose to do, we ought to do it fully, for God wants children with commitment and resolve, not indecision and insincerity.

Today's thought: My diet is an all-or-nothing proposition!

Sundove I just did this from Firefox. We'll see how it goes. Man, I don't need facebook for drama. I've got enough with this site. I'll see how the ABP works. So far, so good.

Diana Glad you found adblocker & it's working. Your pop ups were interesting tho I'm with you re FB--a time eater for me.

Yesterday I fell flat on my face at the end of challenging week. Today went better. On the way home from a day at the coast, I stopped in a little ice cream store that makes their own right there, and uses local seasonal fruit. I bought some for a luncheon tomorrow. Standing in line, I thought I should have a scoop since it's special & I don't often get out that way. By the time I got to the counter, I realized I didn't need it and 'just said no' to myself. It's easier to do that on a day off, but maybe the practice will help on the tougher days. Judging by fit of clothes, I'm maintaining at the higher end.

Enjoy the end of July, Everyone!

Another bad day today. I had roughly 1300 calories which may seem low, but it is over the amount my fitness pal says I should eat. Not only that but a lot of those calories are from binge eating junk food. My health train has been derailed! I did workout today and get in my 10,000 steps but I've lost motivation on the exercise side too!!

I did pretty well today. I ate on plan and got my walk in. It’s starting to cool off a little now. I could feel the difference during my walk. Yesterday was a little on the unbearable side. Today was bearable. Can’t wait for the perfect weather.

I chased two men off my property today. They were stealing some of my century plant in my front yard. I don’t know what people do with that. I think they make alcohol with it. Anyway when I looked out my front window and saw that they were cutting my plant, I was livid! The nerve of some people! After they left, it took me a while to calm down. I called my husband at work and he laughed and told me he was proud of me. Ha, ha!

B: whole wheat bagel w/butter, banana, Zen tea w/a tiny bit of half and half
L: one slice sour dough bread with two slices cheddar cheese, a whole bunch of grape tomatoes
D: pork chops, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, Uncle Ben’s wild rice
D: four squares pineapple dark chocolate

E: 20 minute walk around the neighborhood

Magistra Yikes---I guess some people have different idea of "property" lol. Good for you for chasing them off. I can imagine that it would take a while to calm down. I'm glad you got a break in the weather. it sounds beautiful. Up here, there is that summer-into-fall feeling, fall shorebirds are arriving. Love it.

I woke up with water retention this morning. I can always tell because I wake up with a headache and swollen hands. I stepped on the scale to check and sure enough I was up two pounds. Water weight is so annoying. It makes me feel sluggish and dull like I can’t think very well. I stayed on plan today. Dinner was from Costco today.

B: whole wheat bagel w/butter, raspberries, blueberries, coffee w/vanilla cream
L: tuna w/mayo on red bell pepper
D: giant prawns w/lemon and red cocktail sauce, garbanzo bean and ancient grain salad.
D: two squares pineapple dark chocolate

E: 20 minute walk around the neighborhood

Sundove It is very nice out and I'm so glad I can walk outside. Fall shorebirds sounds lovely!
