Posting to get it on my list!

Hi everyone. I started this post and it disappeared so hopefully you won't all get a chunk of it twice. :)

I am happy for those of you who are making this your "Friday." Enjoy your four day weekend. I am taking the extra day on the other end... taking off Tuesday. I like to do it that way and get the work over with ha ha, and it worked out well because my co-worker is off tomorrow.

I have had a fun week. Now, most people would not understand this, but I am sure a lot of you will -- those who have lost a lot of weight and gotten rid of the "mega boobs." For years I could not find bras that halfway fit at all and had to wear any ugly old thing I could halfway shove my boobs into. I would always walk past the pretty bras in the store and wish I could wear them.

Since my breast reduction surgery I have found a few pretty ones at Catherine's but most of them had straps that were way too short. Last weekend they had bras on half price sale so I decided I would just buy some and pay to have the straps lengthened. Tried them on and to my surprise they have lengthened the straps so they are just perfect for me! I must not have been the only one complaining to them (I had clerks in their own stores tell me they had to buy their bras somewhere else because the straps were too short.

Well... I bought 4 bras and then got $25 Catherine's Cash if I spent $50. So went online the next day and bought 4 more on 1/2 price sale and got another $25 coupon. So tonight I just went online and ordered 4 more -- and I already have 4 that are still plenty wearable. So now I have a huge bra wardrobe in all kinds of pretty colors and prints. The band size I bought I wear on the last hook so will be able to wear them if I lose more weight.... plus I don't CARE -- if they get too big I will just donate them!

Their "comfort bras" and "fashion comfort bras" are the most comfortable, best fitting bras I have ever worn. I like them because they are so soft and conform to your shape. This is especially nice for people like me who are between cup sizes so they are usually too big or too small. But these mold just perfectly to your shape and are incredibly comfortable.

Okay a crazy thing to celebrate but, as I said, I am sure some of YOU will understand all too well.

Everyone enjoy the rest of the week -- and then the long weekend.

Trader Joe's and Cheese Cake Factory

GREAT TIME at Trader Joe’s and Cheesecake Factory – but first a word from my scale … tee hee!

Today’s WI – 240.4 Yippee! (celebrate now because I fear tomorrow will be horrendous! :yikes:)

Yesterday’s Calories – under 1050 (today’s so far 1800 + and I may need to eat before bed time – we’ll see)

Okay doky ---

I spent a lot of time up and down the aisles in Trader Joe's – and checking labels. Syckgirlsfv – I DID get the chicken patties (thank you), and turkey burgers, and bunches of other things. Now … when it comes to the CHEESECAKE FACTORY … OH! MY! GOSH!! I see what you mean Terri – AMAZING! Now, my plan was to ONLY have cheesecake – but I also had the greek salad. And a bite of each bread ... and I SEE what you mean by that bread being soooooo awesome!! I am very very glad there is not a cheesecake factory near by. BTW – I had the raspberry lemon cheesecake (but don’t tell anyone because it’s food porn!) :lol3:

I was curious as to what the calorie count would have been – had I NOT restricted myself and watched calories. Today so far I am at, best I can figure, 1893; and that’s JUST breakfast and lunch. So – if I were not watching my calorie intake and I ate as I did just 6 months ago … I would have consumed appx 3700 calories and 342 carbs. AGAIN! I don’t know how I didn’t weigh MORE than I did. Well Hallelujah – I ate a little less than half of my old norm and that in and of itself is FABULOUS :bravo: to me! (as Terry would say :) )

More later - I need to catch-up on posts!

BelovedWarrior 06-30-2016 08:55 PM

Magistra – glad you got a laugh out of my “pool guy” an TV comment. I hope you get in the pool soon … (and WTG to an older version of Ross!) ;) Oh! And yes, a pool party at your house would be a blast. I’ll bring the sunscreen!

Erin – :woohoo: No Cake for you!! (in my best soup-**** voice) WTG!! :bravo:

JesikaBeth – enjoy the 4 day weekend!!

Nichols – Oh! Let me tell you first hand – way amazing = the CheeseCake Factory … If you get the opportunity to go sometime – I would go! HOWEVER, if you never go – you won’t have to go back and I’m telling you – you’ll want to go back again and again if you open that door!! Yeah – it seems like most families celebrate with food, picnics, and cookouts. I don’t have any plans for the 4th – just another day for me (at this time - that could change) :) I hope you enjoy yours and the time goes slowly so you can be renewed and refreshed.

Diana – Great job … down .6 :cp::cp: – AND! Thank you for the July Thread. I hope the wedding goes well and you enjoy the church get-together. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Terry – Great Job eating OP! Enjoy your evening...

Syckgirlsfv – I am certain you will have a fan-tab-u-lous time in LV! I know you’d want to tell us ALL about it when you get back … but you know what they say?? What happens in Vegas – STAYS in Vegas  Take pics! We will go vicariously and enjoy the Bellagio with you ;)

Misti – What a “strapping” good story you told re your pretty OTSBH (over the shoulder boulder holders) Thanks for reminding me – I want to head to Catherine’s and try one on. I like the idea of molding to your shape. I’ll let you know what I learn! ENJOY your day at work tomorrow … I loved it when I could work alone. I seemed to get more done. See ya soon

Misti Congrats! I can understand and relate. I always said that I have the largest butt on the planet. It was always a huge inconvenience with the extra weight. Again, congrats and yay for you!

Syckgirlsfv 06-30-2016 10:30 PM

belovedwarrior - I have had that very cheesecake...it's phenomenal! It's so refreshing! The sourdough bread is my fav...it's crack bread for sure  LOL at your soup**** voice!!! I have lentil soup that I got from Costco that is the very lentil soup they got the idea from on Seinfeld...made by the actual soup****

I need to go and figure out dinner! :hungry:

see you all later!

BelovedWarrior 06-30-2016 11:18 PM

WoW! That's interesting ... I saw you used **** for the soup nz (word) and I thought ... oh that's a good idea, because I really didn't like using that word. So I was going to edit my post ... only to see that it already was edited. Interesting ....

Hi All
Diana I ought to just read back but, is THIS the wedding wknd? I sure know the feeling of needing to just kick back. I canceled my camping trip to just stay home and putter around & do NOTHING.

Syckgirlsfv Enjoy your vacation! Btw, I've seen ducks swimming around in the Bellagio Fountains---there's even something for birders on the Strip, lol.

WTG Beloved Warrior!!!

Hope to get back to do personals. I love reading everyone's posts--Thank-you!

ennay 07-01-2016 10:54 AM

Woohoo! BelovedWarrior!

I have enough addictions right now sooooo I better wait. Plus, there isn't one in my town which saves me as well. Glad your experience was awesome and to lose weight on CCF food? Shoot you are the hit, for real:))) Diana, good luck with the wedding. Everyone else, have a great day!

Syckgirlsfv 07-01-2016 03:27 PM

Personals-
Misti: Yay for the new bras!

Beloved: Sounds like you enjoyed yourself at cheesecake factor and trader joes. I cannot contain myself around sweets my calorie count probably would have been 3000 something. Lol Great job! WTG on your weigh in!

Diana: I hope you get your relaxing weekend.

ennay: Hope the scale budges for you soon.

Terry: Hope you meet all your July goals.

WI Yesterday: 135.2
WI Today: 134.0
Calories: 1250
Exercise: 20 minutes stationary; 20 minutes walking; going to try to get one more 20 minute workout in before bed.

It is hard to believe that I had 6.2 lbs of water weight on me. At least that is what I’m thinking considering the fact that my weight is dropping like crazy. I’ve done really well this week and I’m super proud of myself. Not so proud that I am going treat myself this weekend. I’m going to have to be really really good if I want to get back down to my low. It’s going to be extremely hard with all the BBQing and I even seen a funnel cake concession where we are going to be at tomorrow night. But I’ve done it before and I can do it again. So willpower willpower willpower is going to be my motto this weekend. I’m going to try and stay away from all the sugary foods. I haven’t had much energy this week…I treated myself to a cup of coffee with an extra expresso shot this morning…I have been bouncing off the walls all day…however I have a pounding headache so it might have been too much caffeine. Going to end this though. TGIF!
