Good Morning, Everyone! Hmm, Happy Monday? Well, it's here, so we might as well make the most of it! Have a great day and week.

Calories for yesterday: 1435 +
Weigh In: 149.2
Down: 1 pound (back in my maintenance range )

asharksrevenge Good job in subbing spaghetti squash. I like doing that, too. I can also eat a lot of it since it's low in calories.

kathydee It sounds like things are getting back to normal for you and you had a great day.

mamakat Good job in getting that walk in! It sounds like it was a tough one with the heat. I hope you have a great day.

Diana - yay for being back in maintenance range!!! You go girl!

I did end up running Saturday, just couldn't resist I suppose Sunday I was moving furniture and doing big cleaning, so good calorie burn there too. Today it's back to work though, so have to sit on my tuccus far too many hours - I wish I could do the standing desk there, but you need a doctor's note to get that accommodation made. I also have school after work, so we will have to wait and see what workout I can fit in Have an awesome one!

Happy Monday!

WI: 186 this morning. No gain-no loss. Took the dog for a walk 3 days in a row (Fri-Sat-Sun). My shoulder is so sore now, as he pulls and pulls, and I pull back trying to get him to understand "heel". But the walking was good. I'll try to do it tonight too. Eating is still not where I want it to be, and personal problem stress is a great contributor.

Keep up the great work everyone!

Morning everyone

I am feeling pretty frantic this morning -- second day back at work and have some big things coming up. Thanks Diana -- My first day went pretty well but I am feeling it this morning
I got to gym last night and did some time on the bike and my weight work which felt good after the day at work.
Have my food plan worked out and am determined to stick to it today. Will check in this evening and write a bit more.
All the best everybody

Moon - Great job staying consistent with your dog. Remember that treats for positive reinforcement can go a long ways too I am so sorry you are having personal issues. If you ever feel you need/want to, my PM is always open to you. We all know what stress does to our weight loss struggles

CyberCrystal - Great job mapping out a food plan!!! I am glad you are holding in for day 2 of your work I also workout in the evenings... as mornings don't allow enough time, plus use it to relieve the stress of the day

So bummed I did not lose weight this past week. I have lost some inches but I can't get over the scale. I feel lighter though. Today I just skipped lunch and munched on some cherry tomatoes from the garden. Going to go to bed early so that I don't eat. Uuuuggghhh

Hi Everyone! We had to work late tonight. We ate 3+ hours later than normal. That's not normally good for my weigh ins. It is what it is, though. We had to work, I had to eat.

Moondance Good job walking the dog. I know the walk was enjoyable for the both of you.

Crystal I hope you had a great on plan day, today. Take a deep breath. You will be back in the swing of things in no time.

Thistimeitsreal Sorry about you not losing this week. What is your calorie range. There's no way that I only eat tomatoes for lunch. Maybe tell us what you have been doing and we can help.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I think my body is finally ridding itself of some excess fluid or my thyroid meds are starting to work. I'm thinking it's the thyroid med. I remember speaking with the Dr. about how my weight has climbed in the past. She feels that you can only contribute about 10 pounds to hypothyroidism. I personally disagree, but I'm no Dr. It was really obvious, with my recent thyroid issue, that my weight could easily go up even though I was counting calories and working out every day. She did mention that some people are more sensitive than others. I think I am in the sensitive category.

Calories for yesterday: 1470 +
Weigh In: 148.4
Down: .8

Diana - Sucks to be one of those that are super sensitive. I am amazed at how well you do at keeping things under control You have learned so much and are able to keep it going

ThisTime - So sorry for your lack of loss. Loss of inches is sometimes your body's way of "catching up" to previous loss though, so please don't become frustrated. Please be careful not to go too low on calories though so you don't wreak havoc on metabolism - I struggle terribly at combating mine after years of wrecking mine. Just eating some tomatoes now would no way sustain me for a meal.

Last night I got home from work, spent a few hours on schoolwork and then hopped on elliptical. I stayed within calories but had some Dum Dum lollipops in there too, not the smartest choice, but dang I wanted something sweet... I am going to blame the TOM... fortunately it seems that is gone today so might be able to finish losing the "hospital" gain this week Or that's the plan anyway, Off to work!

Good Morning Everyone,

Diana Ten pounds to every what? Or in what time period? It's almost like an amazing miracle how fast it starts melting off once you get your thyroid under control (once you get dieting and exercise into control). I can't imagine it's only 10 pounds either, but like you, I'm no doctor. I had tons of other factors that were fighting against my loss too, but I noticed a huge difference when it was off again and everything other thing was right. So amazing, such a small thing messes with us so much. I actually have Hoshimoto's which is eating my thyroid away, my old doctor used to call it lazy. My specialist said, it can't be lazy if it's not there... I felt better (I guess) hearing that. Glad you are seeing results, either way

Today is Tuesday and I not only have one stress factor, but two and both are in New Haven. I'm actually looking forward to them. I so need to talk about the boardwalk thing and the fears that go with it and yesterday I bought a silly hot pink tee that has a picture of waffles with melting butter (mmm, waffles) that says, I'm a hot mess. Man, that fits me to a tee! I'll wear that tonight. My left hand didn't work at all yesterday, wouldn't even hold keys, but today it's working (still hurts like mad) so I need to take advantage of that for a shave and a color. Gotta look my best for all the ladies. I'm going to see a indie's lesbian band...hoping DH isn't the only man, awkward I'm really looking forward to tonight, just not New Haven!

I hope you all have a wonderful and healthy day!

Hi Everyone!

Itsmyturn Dum Dum's are a lot better than other options. You did great. How is your DD doing?

Mamakat LOL on the "lazy thyroid". Nothing like having lazy body parts. Well, my thyroid is dead. I have always joked and called it deader than dead. That thing doesn't function at all. I hope you have a great time at the concert!

As for me . . . I didn't count calories because it's my birthday. I'm sure I will see a gain on the scale tomorrow. I didn't eat horribly, but I ate off plan foods and probably higher sodium. But the good thing is that tomorrow I will get right back on plan.

Diana Happy Belated Birthday...sorry I didn't say that sooner. How was your night? Did you do anything fun for the day? The concert was great, at least the band we went for. I had a pretty good time, considering what a horrific day I had. I even flirted with the lead singer of the headlining band, and yep, she was a girl. I couldn't resist, she was beautiful. I really do hope you had a good time yourself

Thanks everybody for the wishes re getting back into the swing of work.
Day 3 of back at work was not too bad...Did not manage to get to gym but followed my food plan. Most of my time after work was caught up with organising to pick up my new car-- paperwork with the insurance, bank and then the caryard. By the time I did that all and then got the tram back from home to pick up my old car ( It was so old they didn't want it for a trade in! ) it was nearly 8.00pm. A bit late for a workout - But I do have a shiny newish ( 2008 ) car. Really enjoying driving it compared to my old car -- and feeling much safer!
Big day tomorrow at work -- I am running a session for my colleagues of professional learning -- so off to do a bit of checking of my notes and some reading. Will post personals next time. Feeling a bit "anxed" about tomorrow.
I am not very confident presenting to adults .. Hopefully I get through it without resorting to overeating.
Hope you have a good day everybody -- with both your food and exercise.
