Kirsty, DUCK typical! i would get the same sympathy from hubby surprisingly my foot is OK no worse for wear and i managed to walk/jog on my treadmill i've not heard from SW for a bit she's probably working long hours, i'm sure she'll appear soon. I sent Teel a card too with a nurse on it could'nt find anything else apart from one with someone in a bed with a broken leg and plasters all over them

Hope your ankle is feeling better cathy, I've had mine shut in the car door beofre now and it does hurt. Sorry I didn't mention it last night, I didn't take it in through tiredness.
I had a good nights sleep though, although I had funny dreams about moving my neighbours van out of their parking space and I wouldn't tell them where I'd put it........any one have a clue what that means. I only see them once in a blue moon and we only ever say hi or bye, so it's not like we're close.
Kirsty, glad you managed to find all the ingredients for the tuna casserole, glad you enjoyed it too. It is rather scrummy A one cup serving works out at 6 WW points too, and it's very filling.
So SW and Peacock have disappeared this week, haven't they......where'd they both go?
I'm pleased not to have to go and do therapy today now I'm done tih my regular work day, of course, there's a pile of laundry waiting and hubby is due back from San Antonio today, so he'll prob bring me more of the damn stuff! GAH!
Right, am going to drink my cuppa and have a little 40 winks, that sounds so good right now
Later girlies........

Just wanted to say a quick "Hi" and sorry if I worried anyone. Am still here - just been a bit headachey recently. I am off to bed now - will try and catch up with everyone's news in the next few days. I will be going away next week though. Good news is that I lost another 2lb last week so that is 8lb in the last 3 weeks.

Hi Girls,
I just bought myself a new keyboard when i was out and i'm giving it a whirl it feels a bit funny but the other one was getting sticky keys so i saw this one in Wally's World for $10 and decided to treat myself ( again )
Chris, me thinks that subconsciously you don't like your neighbours hmmm maybe i've got that wrong and you hid their van so they could'nt get away my foot is fine thanks for asking, i was a bit worried that i'd be back to square one when i did that.
SW, congrats on the 8lbs loss thats great!

LOL at you lot. Hope I don't have funny dreams tonight, maybe it was all the bad crap I ate?
Have been an absolute angel today, have walked the dogs and had a great work out at Curves. Worked harder than usual on the recovery stations and the machines, as felt very determined to lose this gain. I can do it, and I WILL!
Well done SW on your loss again, keep it going
Cathy, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets sticky keys, a few years back Hannah spilt spaghettio's on my keyboard, it took me weeks to get it picked out and cleaned up, and then Dave bought a new one! Now there's a no food rule round the puters.
It's miserable weather here, rainy and damp and chilly. I'm still wearing my winter coats and even though I had sandals on last Friday, socks and shoes are back on. It's supposed to be like this the rest of the week into the weekend too I checked out the weather for California, and it's much nicer, so I hope it stays that way for when I get there.
Right, must do the dishes, someone else was told to do them tonight, but I guess she must have just forgotten? Accidently on purpose?

Hi all.
I am back chained to the work desk after a week or so. Not very relaxing as rushing to my friend's place (keeping it tidy for her while she was in hospital) then down to Mum's - al too short (the time ... and my mum!) then back to friend's for birthday party so I am well knackered. Luckily neither boss has been around so am gently easing myself back into this work thing.
Linus - it is interesting you say about weight gai during TOM. I gain sometimes a week before (no surprise - I usually eat for England then). However the actual week o f my period I feel quite sick and cannot eat much (for me anyway) and I usually lose one or two pounds. This has been proven when I used to go to a class and the teacher agreed with me so not my imagination! Not sure if it happens to anyone else though.
I think the thing about water is to flush your self out. Plus at the beginning of a diet you lose mostly water too.
Brit NJ that sounds quite sinister. Do you covert their van or something?? Are you secretly envious of them? I had a wierd one that someone asked me to look after their budgie. I put it in aquarium filled with tropical lants and a poisonous spider. Appratently in the dream my whole family loved the spider (yeah very likely) and totally ignored the budgie. I think it was because I did not like anyone much at that school and didn't really know this girl. Still weird dream though.

Hi Girls
Chris, your weather is one thing about living here the weather is pretty consistant its beautiful today and we have forecast for the next few days and i'm gonna love it up to 18 degrees this weekend i should remember to put my hummingbird feeders out cos i'm sure they'll be around looking for them soon. I've got 3 OP days under my belt and i'm sure Gorgeous George will be on my side tomorrow
Kirsty, i forgot to mention about the water i don't drink much either if i try to drink 8 glasses a day my kidneys complain and its never hindered my weightloss either so if you can't do it then don't its supposed to flush out toxins and flush the fat out like Peacock said.

Kirsty, i don't get it why are'nt your docs giving you anything for the pain? have you tried other unconventional treatments? accupuncture or herbs? there are lots of other things out there i would start looking at them. Have you tried those pain patches? the best thing i find for pain is heat, its the first thing i do if i'm really suffering grab my hot water bottle. 3lbs is a great loss don't knock it as for goals, the most obvious one would be better health less stress on your back having more energy to do stuff with your kids and best of all to look bloody good

Hi everyone, welcome back Peacock,
Kirsty, whe I first went to WW they told me my ideal weight for my height and age and asked where I wanted to be. They are big on telling you to take it slow and steady as that's the way to keep it off. They are very supportive and have great menu idea's that are great for people who have to feed families too.
They are big advocates for this sire too, which is how I found it
The first goal that they'll set you will be your 10% weight loss, and they tell you that when you've reached it, you'll feel different, your cholesterol goes down, you BMI too and more. They'll probably tell you that you'll be in less pain with your back too, but if you do still carry on with the pain, tell your doctor and ask for a second opinion.
Cathy, well done for being OP for three days, I'm sure GG will be kind to you in the morning. I have done well today, I snacked on fruit when I fancied something naughty, we had delish cup cakes in our room today for a childs birthday, and I had half with another teacher, and then looked at the points, the piddly bit I ate cost me three points! Can you believe a cup cake is worth six points? I could have so much more than that with better things, so I'll know next time to pass on them and get more for my points
I feel a bit tired at the mo, was busy at work, but am going to drink myy cuppa and then head off to Curves early as I have some running about to do after dinner so won't have the time then. I'll be all energised again after Curves though...... oh yeah!
Later taters.

ive got loads of painkillers i take21 a day of five different kinds its just when the pain gets bad they dont work as well and i dont want to take my diazepam as they make me a bit wonky im sitting here with my heat pad on and ive just taken my tens machine off i did try acupuncture and at first it was great but the pain free time became less and less as my body got uesd to it ive had steroid injections into my spine but didnt really get any significant results from them either i really should go back to the specialist but he wants to take another two discs out and replace my left hip and at this stage im just not willing to do this so i just wait for the good days and those do sound like reasonable goals
speak later
