HI girls, It's confession time for me. went to a party (candle) wahoo.......I live the high life here, last night, and ate naughty things. Am being an angel today though and I had been up until last night so hopefully it'll be my free points in there and I won't show a gain. Confession over, thanks
Thanks for your support regarding J. It's nice to know you all care
Kirsty, I get through all this one day at a time. I was VERY angry at J when we first found out what he'd done, even before the suspension and what angered me most was that he lied to my face, before he did the dirty deed, when I asked him where he was going dressed commando style. I DON'T blame myself at all, because I consider Dave and I to be very fair parents and I have put it down to J just being a teen that didn't think and who allowed himself to make a bad choice regarding the situation.
He's alway been a super kid, never been in trouble with the school or law before and although he's been lazy with his school work since starting high school and coming home later than curfew at times, he is a good, nice, polite kid. All the people that know him were shocked when I told them, they never thought that he would do anything like that, so I know he is thought of in high esteem by others That makes me a very proud Mum
As for the court case coming up, I think it's not cool to be having to deal with, but we'll plod on and take what comes our way, which is our only choice in life right now. As for pysical violence, it has crossed my mind.....only kidding....he's bigger than me, six foot two! AGH! Years ago when mine were babies, everyone kept saying stuff like ' wait til they're teenagers, then you'll be in for it' Did they know something I didn't? Anyhow, just take it one day at a time and be glad yours is an honest lad and it will all be ok, I'm sure
Right, off to unload the dishwasher and do some Saturday cleaning, went to curves this morn, came home, talked to my mum for a few hours and had a nap. It was loverrly Enjoy the weekend all.

Now, thats a new one on me Kirsty..bucketman?? what on earth does he do? besides visit a few ladies in Edinburgh
Chris, i'm sure your lad is a really good kid who unfortunately just got led on by the others i can picture him now hanging his head whenever the subject comes up and wishing to god that he'd never got mixed up with it. I'm sure it will be the last silly thing that he is likely to do Talking a few hours with your Mum? does'nt that cost a fortune? it does from here
In the middle of a ton of laundry here got a lot of cleaning to do too but not really in the mood will have to be done tho' and no-one else is gonna do it so i may as well get on with it. Cable box is on the blink so the repair man will be out here tomorrow so i can't leave it until then or i would because its a lovely day and i think they've forecast showers for tomorrow.

Now Kirsty, what on earth makes you think that i only do laundry once a week? i do it everyday and everytime my hubby strips off he wears exactly one full load of clothes on his back everyday today i've got a lot because i'm doing bedding and towels as well, can you believe he uses 3 towels everytime he showers he's worse than me!

Oh I am so thankful I have no children!!!!!
Gosh you lot are certainly going through the mill at the moment...Linus, when you said about ds missing his "clan matches" I thought you were talking about him tossing the cabre or something in the Highland Games!!! Sounds like DS and DH are pretty good at it, though. Have you ever tried?
I have been in bed or with my head down the toilet most of the weekend with a vomit producing bug! I thnk the worst is definately over now as I have manged to feel hungry enough to attack a rice cake.....

You must be Kirsty seeing as you were deep in "conversation" until 4am funny how all those romantic gifts turn into weedeaters and tools at some point in a relationship is'nt it?
Teel, hope you are feeling better and manage to eat something more substantial than a rice cake you must have caught it from Chris Hope you both feel better soon
I've had a blitz on the kitchen this morning this spring fever must be catching Kirsty even took the very heavy microwave out of its hole in the wall to give that (and the hole ) a good cleaning..hubby was on the phone to his mother at the time and was amazed to see me doing this and told his mother so anyone would think that i never cleaned..cheeky so i'm the very proud owner of an immaculate kitchen (for about an hour)
Had to laugh at you on your one and only flight Kirsty hope the passengers did too!
Not done any exercise today as yet, may just carry on getting some jobs done today instead.

hi girlies well im glad you found my terror amusing and yes the plane was in uproar i think one passenger offered my husband tranquilisers for the return flight hey do you think "conversation" loses calories or is that just wishful thinking .Why is it we get a day off from everything and decied that chores that have waited weeeks cant wait one more second ? anyway as for the pressie i actually asked for a keyboard im just glad this one works properly i was getting very sore fingers hving to bang the e and u and o i tried to think up a decent coversation without these keys and failed miserably well ive finally decided what my weight loss goal is so when i can look straight down and see my feet ill be happy i might even weigh myself tomorrow {if i buy scales}anyway must go before i get chucked off for using all the band width
speak to you all soon

HI girls, Teel, hope you're feeling better and your bug has gone away. Kirsty, you are a super woman doing all that cleaning and laundry, although I'm on about my sixth load today and I have been cleaning, although it's not spring like here, it was dry though but cold. I stayed in for the most part, just ran out to pick up sonny boy from work and to run to the shop.
My confession over bad choices on eating on Friday will have to run into yesterday and today I'm afraid I had a friend stay over last night and we watched movies til the wee hours, ordered chinese and shared a tub of ice cream that said four half cup servings and we ate the lot! Haven't eaten great today either, left over chinky which was bloody yum I started stressing about it all during diner ( which was healthy) and talked to Dave about feeling guilty and he said that he was looking at a pic of me with friends from about six years back, and he was shocked at how FAT I was, although he didn't realise at the time and he wasn't bothered, so he said the nicest thing, byt saying how I look half the size now and look really great, so I decided to say, well ok, it was a bad weekend, it's ok, tomorrow is a new day and I've done well so far and can keep doing well
I'm not looking for a loss come Wednesday weigh in, but I'll be happy to be super good from tomorrow and hopefully stay the same.
Cathy, I call my Mum every weekend as I have a great phone plan. I pay thirty bucks a month and have unlimeted calling from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, to the UK and all over the states. Believe me, I can talk for England so spend a lot of my weekends talking to everyone all over and catching up. I get more than my money's worth too
I have had the plan for about four years and before that would take turns with my mum and Dad calling every other month and keeping our calls to an hour, it was horrible but we had to because of the expense
Right, well must read the other threads, later.......

Awww Chris, that was nice of Dave to say that! Hopefully that steer you back in the right direction! Keep it up! Funnily enough last time I was at my mum's we must have been talking about photos and my mum had this idea that I had destroyed all mine from past years ago. I don't know why she thinks this as it certainly is not true. However, apart from the odd family occasion, girls' night out and holiday I suppose I hadn't been 'snapped' much. There is one dreadful pic somewhere though of me and both my brothers at Greenwich. I had turned my head around to llok at one of them while the other had taken a photo without me knowing and all you can see are acres of jowls! Yuck. For the most past though I haven't been that bothered by photos.
