LOL Moonchild, sometimes it takes forever to write doesn't it.

What I've decided to do with the gym is to just go along and pay for the classes each week for a month and then see how much I'm spending, that way I'll know which is the cheapest way to do it. There's a dance exercise class that looks really good, and its supposed to improve your co-ordination (which I need). I want to do boxfit too.

I have been exercising at home on the exercise bike, and for a while I've been running, but I found the running messed up my knees (a problem I had since I was a teenager), I just find the bike bores me after a while.

Now I'm hungry, I'm glaring at the biscuits in the office and am considering a yogurt.

I wanna lose weight!!!!!

crazy helen 08-16-2007 05:29 AM

Ok, piccy of me, this was taken on Saturday night, I'm the one on the left.

Moonchild 08-16-2007 07:33 AM

Wow Helen, thats a great picture, you look great!!!!!

I'm having problems with my knees as well, thats why I like boxercise, its only a short while with high impact on knees during the warmup. One of the reasons I don't like classes in the gym, they are usually high impact....

Hope you had the yoghurt instead of the bisquits!!!! I;m just having a Veggie soup with some pasta and a wholemeal pita.....very tasty...i love the taste of toasted pita......not sure what to make for dinner tonight, might try to make some hashbrowns after the meeting......otherwise it will be beans on toast lol.....

crazy helen 08-16-2007 07:47 AM

Yup, I had the yogurt, hehe good me, and then for lunch I had wholemeal bread and poached eggs, and now I want a pudding but all there is are icky brown bananas and they are disgusting, so I'll just fill up on green tea (oh how I love that stuff) :p

Thanks for the compliment on the piccy, I had to fight my friend so much to get her to have her piccy taken.

It seems so long till pay day :(

Moonchild 08-16-2007 07:58 AM

I'm just having a Lemon Cheescake Muller Light as dessert, that usually does the trick and gets my sugar fix satisfied.....green tea? yikes, I hate that stuff...it's just sooo bitter...

I'll get my pics uploaded soon, then I'll post them as well....always nice to put a face to the name lol.....

crazy helen 08-16-2007 11:14 AM

MMM the lemon cheesecake one is tasty so is the sticky toffee pudding. I've started buying the smaller muller fruit light, and then I have one in the morning and one in the afternoon. MMMM. Muller is a bit expensive though, I think I'll have to check if the Morrissons equivalent is free too, as its much cheaper.

Right I'm still on the wagon, not fallen off just yet. Went to visit one of my clients this afternoon who put suger in my coffee, yuck. Oh yes, I love green tea, I ether have the decaf one or there's a nice lemon one you can get, I guess its like Marmite, you either love it or you hate it lol.

Gammon for dinner tonight, with eggs, and veg, I think I'll have those big breakfast mushrooms with it instead of potato, so tasty, and filling too mmmm.

Melgettinthin 08-16-2007 12:01 PM

Wow you look fab in that photo Helen! Nice one!

I have really been hearing a lot about this Muller light... I must go try some. The sticky toffee kind sound very tempting. I usually spend (waste? I don't think so) a syn and a half on a piece of American dark chocolate I know whatg you're thinking ladies... and yes the chocolate is better over here! But it reminds me of home and I like it, and it's better than polishing off 3 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! (My favorite choc.)

I used to run a fair bit when I was younger but now I am afraid I will hurt myself at this weight. I think I *would* like to get back into it when I've lost a bit of weight but... still debating it.

OK enough chit chat I have to train newbie teachers! See ya later! :)

crazy helen 08-17-2007 03:54 AM

Good morning girls!!

I'm feeling pretty proud of myself today, last night I overcame my fears and went to a BTL class (bums, tums and legs). It was lots of fun, and although I wasn't the most graceful of people I had a good time. Bit achy today though lol. My neighbour wants to come to exercise classes with me, so that should happen from next week.

Council is out today to get the mouse, we can still hear it under the floorboards in the bedroom, but its not been inside the house again, and yesterday my neighbour saw it in her house. Hopefully it'll be gone soon.

So, what are everyones plans for the weekend? I think we're having a quiet one, may have some friends over tomorrow night. Staying away from the alcohol lol. Might do a box-fit class tonight, but I'm not sure because of the council, and its at 5:30pm which isn't a great time for me.

Might head over the Stratford for the day tomorrow, its only 30 mins away, its always nice to feed the ducks and walk by the river.

Melgettinthin 08-17-2007 09:51 AM

Helen that is awesome that you went to the BTL class! And I'm glad to hear you had fun doing it! I find I really enjoy getting up and moving once I finall do it LOL!

I am excited for tonight because I am going to see Prince at the 02 Dome (that's the Millennium Dome these days) with some friends. I have to work tomorrow, which kind of stinks but I will be making a little bit of extra cash for it so it could be worse LOL. A friend from L.A. will be in town tomorrow night so we will be out and about... hopefully I will quasi behave!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Mel

crazy helen 08-17-2007 06:36 PM

have fun at the concert! I'm not doing well on no alcohol lol. am on playstation 3 so ignore bad typing lol talk to you soon

crazy helen 08-18-2007 12:43 PM

I had a little victory today, I am wearing a whole outfit of clothes and they're all size 16 :D I haven't been a 16 since I met my hubby back in 2001 :carrot: We went into town this mornig and I got some 16 jeans and some new bras, (I got a 16 top a couple of weeks ago), my bra had gone from a 42 to a 36 lol, result!!!!

The mouse man came, but because I'd blocked up the holes he wouldn't put poison down in ou house, fortunatly my neighbour had seen it the day before and he put poison under her floorboards where they'd got gaps. Now just to wait for the poor thing to die. Yes I hate having a mouse, but I still don't like the idea of killing it off.

Hope you're all having a great weekend, Moonchild, you got the internet installed yet? Mel, I hope the concert was fun.

Moonchild 08-20-2007 03:00 AM

Morning girls,
sorry, been off for three days and as you've probably guessed, I have no internet installed yet. Sky guy was there friday to install Sky, but he told me that the stuff for broadband would be sent by mail....very odd....but oh well, I guess another couple of days wont kill me.

Anyway, lets catch up....Helen, I hope for you that you've seen the last of that mouse, it would be such a relief. I've seen a commercial yesterday for that pestguard on TV. It's by JML and you can get it at Woolworths. Might be an idea to invest 20£ in that to keep them off......and good for you for the clothes. It's always fab to find clothes that didn't fit in ages and now fit again...yay!!! And if you have someone to come to the classes with you, that might motivate you even more!

Mel, how was the concert? Hope you enjoyed yourself! Did you behave yourself?????

Well as for me, not such a great weekend. Thursday WI was dissappointing as i stayed the same. So in my frustration I had a McD's on Friday. And from then it only went downhill....had some Greggs for lunch on Saturday (Macaroni pie and cheese and onion pie) and then a Chinky for Dinner....to top it all up, we had some Cider while watching a movie Saturday night. You cannot imagine how bad I felt afterwards, bloated like nothing else, and going to the toilet wasn't a lot of fun either......yikes......

Anyway, got my act together again yesterday, told my other half that I do have to get back on track, and no more cheating. Going to work hard and get this weight off.....Don't think the WI this week is going to be great either, but well, I'm back on the wagon now.

Oh on the lighter side, went to a jobinterview on Friday.......really like the company, and the best thing about it: Its not a callcenter!!!! So keep my fingers crossed.......

crazy helen 08-20-2007 05:01 AM

Sorry about your weigh in Moonchild, remember maintaining is good too, but I'm glad your back on the wagon, my latest blog entry was about getting back on the wagon lol, and I've been very good (for the most part) since. I had a couple of slip ups over the weekend, Friday was alcohol, and I didn't really want it, I just drank it because my hubby was, at least it was only a couple of shots. Yesterday we went to see the latest Bourne movie at the cinema (very good film), and while I was buying the tickets Chris wandered off and bought me some ice cream, and it was my all time favorite, I loved every mouthful though I have to say. The wagon is now well and truly under my bottom again hehe.

The mouse is gone!!!! On Thursday my neighbour told me that she'd seen it in her bathroom, then on Friday the pest control came out, but because I had blocked up all the holes in our house they couldn't do anything, he then went next door and laid poison under their floorboards. I was getting a bit icky about thinking I might find it dead, but then on Sunday morning my neighbour came round to tell me her husband had seen the mouse on Saturday night and had thrown his slipper at it, which killed it.

Right time to upload some photos to facebook.....

Melgettinthin 08-20-2007 05:47 AM

Hi guys,

Sorry I've been MIA all weekend - had the concert, then worked all day Saturday and then just kind of chilled out on Sunday (once I finally woke up as I allowed myself an extra long lie-in LOL!)

Moonchild sorry you had such a rough weekend. It happens sometimes. I think you are doing the best thing that you can do - dust yourself off and get back on program. I know our gut feeling when we do something like that is to beat ourselves up but it's really not that productive. I read in some forum around here that successful dieters when they have 'slip-up' just acknowledge it and move on. You can do it! :)

Helen how AWESOME about the size 16s! Hmm size 16 that is a size 14 US (Oh how I love going home to shop LOL!) I don't think I've seen that size myself since I think 1998? 99? Looking forward to going back there though!

Actually in my mind one of my major goals is to actually fit into something (comfortably, mind - not 'barely squeeze into!') from Primark or Top Shop, and to be able to shop ALL of New Look and H&M, not just their dinky little women's sections! At the moment I am a size 22 and I'm pretty much relegated to the dinky sections or Evans. My goal is to be shopping 'the regular stores' by the beginning of November. I think it's doable.

Oh - the weekend! Prince concert was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Met my friends beforehand at the 02 dome. We went to this "American style" restaurant. One of my friends who went to the concert with me is Canadian and she and I were laughing that this restaurant was like the worst type of restaurant that you would find on the wrong side of town in Nowheresville U.S.A. But it was the cheapest and that's why we went there LOL! And actually the food was very nice. I had a small steak and a baked potato and was very pleased with myself for sticking to the plan. We did have a few glasses of wine but I counted them - and I danced so much at the concert that I am sure I burned most of that off. If that wasn't enough I missed my last train back home and had a 20-minute walk from where the bus dropped me off!

Saturday I did booze it up though... don't feel TOO bad about that except for the fact that it was beer which I know I should stay away from. I did count it up and we will see how we go on Wednesday.

Foodwise though I have been just fine and have firmly stuck to the program. I haven't really wanted to 'cheat' because I keep building little 'cheats' into my week and that is satisfying me.

I am really finding if I say some food is totally off limits I only end up craving and then binging on that food. Like beer - I LOVE beer - but I have told myself I can't have it. So why do you think I had about five of them saturday? I think I'll try having one beer and then switching over to something else. It's working for me with cheese! (My all time favorite food!) In fact I was thinking yesterday that one of the great things about the Slimming World plan is that I don't have to give up cheese! LOL!

Right better actually do some work! Talk to you later!

crazy helen 08-20-2007 06:14 AM

Oh I love clothes shopping, that was one thing I missed as a size 22 because it was all Evans, and I got sick of the styles. I eventually found our local market stocked fashionable clothes for larger sizes and that was great. I'm very pleased with the size 16 thing, I remember when I got down to an 18 and I could shop in the smaller clothes in New Look I started crying in the shop because I was so happy.

Moonchild 08-20-2007 06:44 AM

Yay Helen, the mouse is gone...thats fab.....I bet you sleep a lot better now.

Glad you enjoyed the concert Mel....haven't been to a concert in ages....but nothing came along that really interested me....

Yeh, shopping in a normal shop is definetely one of my main goals as well...can't wait for that....also fit a pair of boots without having to buy extra wide.....oh well, I kinda adapted my goals a bit....want to get to 17st till my birthday and to 15st till christmas....that should be doable......

Aw! That is just the sweetest story Helen! It is so great when you have a 'victory' like that isn't it?

I do actually like Evans but some of their clothes are a little too frumpy for me - I may be fat but I ain't frumpy! It's much easier shopping for the larger sizes in the U.S. (big surprise). Also Evans is all so expensive, for my budget anyway.

And I LOVE clothes - man is that Primark on Peckham High Street calling to me!

crazy helen 08-20-2007 07:05 AM

I always found Evans a bit expensive too, and like you say some stuff is frumpy, I ended up in Mark One shopping sometimes, they're pretty cheap and fashionable.

Great news about the interview Moon, when will you know if you got the job?

Just eating my lunch and shivering, its really cold in this office today.

Melgettinthin 08-20-2007 07:19 AM

Oh hey Moonchild forgot to mention we have Sky Internet and Cable too - it all came in the mail pretty quickly and the boyfriend was able to get it all up and going within about 5-10 minutes of coming home and finding the package was there! So hopefully that will all go well. :)

Oh - and best of luck on the interview! Hope it goes very well.

Moonchild 08-20-2007 08:27 AM

Thanks girls, will let you know if I got the job......I really hope so, this call center is driving me insane.....

I find Evans too expensive too, I go there occasionally if they have a sale on, but don't buy their stuff on the normal prices...I find New Look a lot cheaper and their clothes are a lot nicer too....

Just had my lunch...currybeans on toast topped with some LF cheddar...yumm. Going to make the SW Carbonara last night....it's sooo tasty and my bf likes it too....eventho he puts lots of sweet chilli sauce on top...he doesnt like pasta without any sauce......lol

Moonchild 08-21-2007 01:59 AM

crazy helen 08-21-2007 03:45 AM

Thanks Moonchild, I'll have to try that one out. I joined the gym last night, and went to a step class, I hated every minute of it lol, I think I'm gonna stick to BLT class and street dance, step means you have to be way more co-ordinated than I am :carrot: I need to book in for a introduction to the gym and then I can use the equipment there too. Off to BLT tonight.

Feeling pretty tired, my hubby woke me up with nightmares 3 times in the night, and then I couldn't get back off to sleep. At least work is quiet for the next two weeks.

I've recently got loads of spots on my face, well when i say loads I mean four, which is loads for me, its only been in the last couple of weeks, any ideas as to why? I've never had spots before really.

Green day today :D

Moonchild 08-21-2007 04:46 AM

Oh poor u, I hate nightmares....brrrr. I'm tired as well, but thats probably coming from the boxing last night lol...great that you joined the gym, that will definetely make a difference if you go on a reg. basis. I hate steps too, they do it occasionally as part of the boxing and god does my bum hurt afterwards.....

Hmm, strange about the spots, might be that your body is detoxing, and all the poison that you have had in your body is making its way out....just a wild guess.

I'm on red today, going to do one green, one red all week, to see if that gives me a bit of a boost....instead of eating the same food all the time. Going to have a salad with some chicken for lunch and then some home made chicken kebabs for dinner. Also got some wafer thin chicken to munch on if I get hungry in between....

I'm just busy making a blog for my recipes, let u all know when I'm done....

Melgettinthin 08-21-2007 04:53 AM

Morning ladies!

Haha Moonchild if you can believe it I was thinking about lasagne on my way to work this morning and wondering about a SW-friendly way of making it! Lasagne is one of my specialities - but my special recipe has to be loaded with syns! My poor BF - he is not going to have it again for a long time and I know he loves it! I will try out your recipe - it sounds very easy to make.

Sorry to hear about the spots Helen! Maybe it is TOM? That always makes me break out at least!

*sigh* Another gray day in London... so SICK of this weather! A little sun and warmth would be most welcome. Rode my bike in to work this morning which was good.

Green versus Original (red) days: I might've asked this before but which do you more of? I pretty much stick to green all the time. I think I just like to carboload LOL! What about you guys?

OK, might pretend to look busy at work LOL! Have a good day all! :)

crazy helen 08-21-2007 05:04 AM

I really should start experimenting more with food, so you writing up your recipies might help. My hubby does most of the cooking so I'll point some ideas in his direction.

I was wondering the same thing with the spots, I'll have to see how it goes, hmm.

Let me know if swopping the days around makes much difference, I have lots more red days than green, but I maybe should mix it up a bit more. I read somewhere of a lady losing when she only had green days, so that must work, but I think its important to keep your body guessing.

Talking about keeping your body guessing, I was listening to 2 ladys chatting in the gym last night, one had apparently lost loads of weight since she started the exercise classes, she was saying she mixes up her exercise to lots of different types to keep her body guessing, and that's what helps her to lose weight. I thought that'd be a good thing to remember for the future.

I'm hoping for a loss this week, big or small I don't mind as long as the scale is going down.

crazy helen 08-21-2007 05:08 AM

Oops Mel posted while I was.

The interesting thing with the spots is that they came with TOM and never left, and more have come since :( oh well I guess they'll go eventually.

I have always had more red days, I found that helped me at first to lose, I have always been a bit scared of carb overload on green days, so I've kept them limited.

Right time for me to look busy too ;)

Moonchild 08-21-2007 08:16 AM

Righty, thats me finished....uploaded the recipes. If you go to my blog there is the SW recipes link in the linklist....

Mel, the lasagne is indeed very easy to make, and very tasty. The weather up here isn't great either...it's just sooo depressing...

Just having my lunch: Morissons Honey Mustard Chicken Filets, Cucumber, Silveronions and 4 Ryvitas.....

Regarding the day swopping. I used to be on more green days, usually maybe had one red day a week. But I think it helps your weightloss if you switch days, so you metabolism doesn't get used to the food and slows down...which I think happend with me. For me it is a lot harder to stick to red days, as I love pots, pasta and rice and I'm not too big on the veggies....I love sweetcorn, but thats the one thing you are not allowed on red....what a pain that is lol....

The same goes for workout I think. It's not only the different kinds of workout, but I think also the different times (same as with food). Keep you metabolism guessing and that should speed it up. I know it's very hard to break old habits, but I've read somewhere that a girl turned her meals around and achieved a great loss (so Dinner for BF, BF for Dinner etc....)

Well, time for me to look busy....but oh well, why bother...lol

crazy helen 08-21-2007 11:59 AM

Just a quick question regarding exercise and eating, I know you're not supposed to eat within a certain time of exercise, but most of my classes are at 6:30pm meaing I can't really eat before and after I'm starving so I overeat. Have you found a small snack you eat before exercise to overcome this? I guess it depends what time your classes are.

Moonchild 08-22-2007 02:02 AM

Well I think it's alright to eat, but not a big meal...maybe a banana or two with yoghurt, cereal....something to give you a full feeling and something that gives you energy. You usually drink quiet a lot during or after excercise, that helps to fill you up too....my classes are at 5.30, and by the time I get back I still have to cook....so we are usually starving as well lol.....

Last night I had a nightmare...was dreaming that I didn't get the job .... I wish they would call!!!!

crazy helen 08-22-2007 03:57 AM

Aw, I bet that job interview is weighing on your mind, I hate it when they take their time in telling you the result.

Did a BLT class last night, the instructor really worked us hard, the room was packed too, although my two friends who were supposed to be going with me both cancelled at the last minute *sigh* I don't mind going on my own but company is always nice. I ache today.

Going out for a drink tonight with my friend, I think we'll either go to the pub (diet coke), or to Starbucks (green tea or water), if its Starbucks I'm determind to avoid the cakes, even if chocolate dedadence is very yummy. Bah now I'm craving sweet things, Marks and Spencer do the most tasty lemon cheesecake in the world :D

Anyway....

I've also been looking at a career change, I've always wanted to do teaching, and I have a school willing to support me from September 2008 to do the in school teaching training. You get paid 14k a year which is more than I'm on now, and thats just for the first unqualified year. So, I need to get myself accepted at a university now to back up my qualification. September 2008 seems so far away though :(

Melgettinthin 08-22-2007 04:22 AM

Hey guys!

Wow Moonchild I am going to have to check out your recipes. I will definitely try the lasagne probably over the weekend and see how it goes. I should post up a few of mine.

One of the things I miss most in the UK is good Mexican food (I know, how hilarious being American and missing Mexican food - just think about the British and Indian food and that's Americans and Mexican food!), so I make some of my own and I have some good healthy Mexican recipes. Made fajitas last night with homemade salsa, homemade guacamole (I know the avocado is high in syns but sooo worth it!), quark instead of sour cream and lean turkey instead of chicken or beef. Yum! One of my favorite dinners.

Moonchild really hope you get the job! Just put it out of your mind and wait for them to call you. I have to do a lot of interviewing in my job and sometimes you just get busy and it takes a few days to get around to offering someone a position.

Helen - I always find a piece of fruit works wonders for that hungry feeling, but is not enough to fill you up to the point where you get a cramp or something working out.

Teaching: I teach English as a Foreign Language (actually now I mostly tell people to get to class and train newbie teachers LOL!) and I really love it. It's really fun. It is different teaching in a 'regular school' but if you like working with people it might be the way to go. I've got a friend who's waiting to hear if she can get on a PGCE in New Cross atm. Why not give it a try nothing to lose! September 2008 will be here before you know it anyway!

Alright well I have to go to a First Aid course today so I am off. Just in time for it be p-ing down with rain too! Ugh! Ah well. WI today - hope it goes well!

Bye for now!

Mel

Moonchild 08-22-2007 04:44 AM

Grrr, my phone rang earlier, getting all my hopes up, but it was just the other half......

Oh thats great news, that they accepted you....and once you are back in university, time will fly by....just stay away from these uni cantines lol.....

Boxing was hard last night, but was good to let off some steam.....was really angry cause these idiots at Sky messed up our application for the broadband, so it was good to let of some steam. Glad you are enjoying it.....and once your muscles get used to being used again, you wont be as sore.

Hope you're going to a pub...I personally try to avoid starbucks where I can, cause once you're in there the temptation is just too much.....and I still find their prices quiet shocking...we had two hot chocs and two cookies and paid nealy a tenner....

Moonchild 08-22-2007 04:49 AM

Ow, and while I was typing, in comes mel....mexican food.....yeh I love it too, but I find that lots of restaurants do mexican food, and its usually quiet nice. TGI fridays is one of em.....but they are just sooooo expensive.....just a wee tip: If you use wholemeal wraps you can use 1 as 1 B choice.....

Have fun at you course today lol....

crazy helen 08-22-2007 05:57 AM

I think we're going to Starbucks, but I've managed to educate myself when it comes to going there, so I should be ok. I know weigh in is tomorrow so that normally keeps me on the straight and narrow.

Yup, its great that the school has accepted me, just need to get into the uni now, the good thing is that I'll be full time in school and not studying in uni at all, its a hands on teacher training course.

So, what's happening with your broadband?

Moonchild 08-22-2007 06:45 AM

Sky is a complete nightmare *rant mode on*

Called them yesterday to see where my delivery is....got told that nothing has been set up yet :?:, on further investigation he found my registration form but told me that the free base option is not available until end of october and I would have to pay £5 monthly until then. GREAT! Told him that I was told when I got the package that it was available and that I would have waited until then if it wasnt. Asked him if I can just wait until then to get it connected but he told me that I would have to pay £120 connection cost then :nono:....i nearly lost it and told him that it is not my problem that they give me the wrong information. He put me on hold for 5 mins to check if he could do anything for me...and of course he COULDNT!!!
I nearly lost it there and then....but told him I would discuss things with my partner and get back to him. So now we are going to the place where we filled out the application (which is in the middle of a big shopping mall) and will raise some ****. Not that the 5£ will kill me, but blant out lying to me is something I cant stand!
*rant mode off* :soap:

Just uploaded another recipe on my page....made it for dinner last night with some pita read...yummmmmm

crazy helen 08-22-2007 08:02 AM

Its so annoying when companys are like that, and mess around. We had problems with our internet when it was installed, that was virgin media though, they were awful, and we had to wait hours on their helpdesk.

I had the lasagne last night, yummy!!!

Melgettinthin 08-22-2007 09:25 AM

Oh Moonchild I *hate* having to call Sky! They are just absolutely awful! A good Sky trick though, when you are out of contract is to call and say you are going to cancel because of the crap service or whatever. They put you through to the cancellations department rather than the customer service people and are a lot nicer. However in this case you've probably just signed your contract so you may be over a barrel - on the other hand they are not providing your service yet.

Did you ask to speak to a manager? I would call back and demand to speak to someone who is actually in charge. Equally aggravating is the fact that you are PAYING for the pleasure of being put on hold while you wait for them to get their act together! Have you ever tried "Just say no to 0870?" I ususally look up 0870 numbers before I call them. Unfortunately sky is on to people doing this and keep changing their numbers! I hope the guy who sold you the package can at least do something to help you!

Helen hope it goes well at Starbucks tonight. Funny I could totally resist just about any sweet in Starbucks. I just don't have that much of a sweet tooth unless it is TOM. Take me to a pub or a pizza parlor though and I will be in trouble!

OK well, off to go investigate a new DVD player for our school. First aid course was great believe it or not. I can do CPR now and save people from choking! Also the guy who ran the course was a cutie so my friend and I didn't mind looking at him for a few hours!

Anyway, off on my DVD adventure...

Oh yes, Sky, we have our tv from them, and when my husband was out of work we rang up to cancel the contract because we couldn't afford it, they changed out package so we got the same service for £5 a month for 6 months.

Just seen the news, one of the people who got arrested for that shooting of the guy on the motorbike was part of one of the families I work with, so that's going to be a hard time for them.

Almost hometime, yay! Weigh in tomorrow, good luck girls!

Morning ladies,
So, how was your WI???? I'm dreading mine a bit, but oh well....next week will be better.

Made SW quorn cottage pie last night, which was quiet nice, but a hellottawork to prepare....and my kitchen looked like a warzone afterwards lol...but it generally does when I cook. I always admire my motherinlaw...she can cook without making a mess.....just don't know how she does it lol....

Quiet pleased with myself, managed the week so far without nibbeling, didn't have any chocolate and only had a few WW cheesy curls out of my other halfs pack.

Going to see Sky on Saturday...can't wait to sort them out lol. Probably going to end up paying the £5, but at least I got my point accross.
