Aw Lou I know how that feels, I had a month off exercise last year because I had an evil infection that I couldn't shift, I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon.
MC I know what you mean, I always get down if I don't lose as much as I wanted to, I am gradually learning that a small loss is better than no loss. I've done something silly in that I've worked out that if I lose just under 2 pounds a week I'll be at target by August, it's silly because whenever I have an aim or a target I always mess it up. I'm fed up of messing up though so lets see how it goes hehe! |

Morning Ladies, it's WI day for me today.....I'll post tonight if and what I lost.
Helen, I know what you mean, setting myself a goal is just a waste of time, cause I always blow it....I'll have a goal in my head and if I make that I'm pleased. Lou, I hope you feel better soon, chestinfections are nasty...brrrrr. Fea well done on the loss, thats fab....only 3lb to go to your revised minigoal!!! You must be well pleased. My plan of not having any naughties in the house seems to be working so far, the only thing I've been snacking on is snackajacks lol. Made a nice Tagliatelle with arrabiata sauce last nite and put some chicken mini fillets on the george....was absolutely delicious and super easy. |
I am so fed up, I maintained this week, I know a maintain is better than a gain but I'd worked hard and exercised and really felt I'd done well. I'm stuck just about the 15 stone mark which is where I got stuck in November and only just got passed it before I put my weight on over Christmas. I hate 15 stone!!!
Anyway.... Congratulations on the loss Fea that's great! Hope tonight goes well Moonchild. |

Helen, sorry you didnt loose, but just look at these pictures, what a difference!!!! I know its hard to get that through slimmers thick skulls, but you've come far, so dont give up.

Well, just back from my WI and I only lost 1 lb....I know I know, a loss is a loss, but I expected more from it. But I will try to cut out on bread this week, so hopefully that will help. She let us try the ryvitas with fruit, mmmmmhhh they were quiet nice, and 2 for a Bchoice...will definetely get them with my next shopping trip......

Well done on the loss Moonchild. I like those ryvita minis, the salt and vinegar ones, never really fancied the fruit ryvitas. Went to BLT last night and it was packed, everyone feeling the post Christmas flab I guess lol!

I'm still annoyed about the small loss, but I'm not going to give in. I'll stay on track, and hopefully the next WI will be a lot better. Don't have any meals coming up anytime soon, so I should be fine. Will probably go out for lunch tomorrow, but definetely stay on plan. Hopefully the weather will be ok again this weekend, so we can go for a nice walk somewhere.....

If it's a small one, I always fail my challenges, something fun and doesn't have to be to do with the amount we lose :D

Hi guys, had my WI on wednesday - lost 3 and a half pound, it was my first week but i did have a night out where i spent 36.5 syns on vodka!
Not going too well this week, work are starting to give me lunch for example today pasta (which id fine) but a beautiful fat bread roll with butter and some chocolate cake!! ARGHH! I did eat it so not so much vodka for me this weekend! Helen you can really tell the difference on your pics..use it as inspiration! Well done Bex xx |

i spoke with Crazy helen... were going for 3hrs of exercise this week .. starting monday... will have a look the following week.. if its too easy.. or how we are doing & re-assess.. i think a short term goal will be easier to stick to...

Im in.....3 hours should be doable. Just got back from Town....had TGI's for Lunch....had the jackdaniels chickenstrips as a starter and the new york linguine with grilled chicken as main....yummmmmmmmm.....going to be good for the rest of the weekend. Curled up on the sofa now....

Well, weekend was ok, had quiet a few syns tho, so I have to be really careful during the week. Hope I didn't ruin it. Going to boxing tonight, so that would be my 1st hour of workout this week (since walking around Glasgow proably doesn't count lol).....hopefully I will be able to attend 3 classes this week, but its my mother in laws birthday on Wednesday....but we'll see.

I had a pretty good weekend, a few extra syns, but nothing that wouldn't balance out over the week. Went to Nandos on Saturday night, and had their chicken salad, I love that place lol, soooo tasty. :chicken: Had a great non scale victory this weekend, yesterday I got off my lazy bum and sorted out the clothes in my wardrobe, I threw away everything that is too big for me, and also some clothes that I've had for years that I didn't want any more. I now have around 5 tops that fit me lol, a couple of pairs of jeans, nothing smart and a few pairs of pants. Talk about happy!! :dizzy: My friend Jo is coming over tonight, we're going to have healthy quorn lasagne, Chris makes it for me without the white sauce and it's very, very tasty :D It's also free on green days if you take the cheese from healthy extra. Heading to the gym tomorrow to get the first of my 3 hours in :exercise: does the week reset on a Sunday or a Monday? I'll be off to my parents at the weekend, Chris is working and I've been invited to eat at my friends house and see my godson, then on Saturday Mum and Dad are taking me shopping in Nottingham, should be good fun, I'm going to have to save some syns up I think, especially for Friday night. |

I wont be about for about a week. Work is sending me on an all expenses paid trip to Mexico in the morning :carrot: So this is just a quicky to say good luck with your losses this week. I think I may gain! All inclusive hotels are my down fall. Check in in a week xx |

I'm having a not bad week, I munched on a couple of biscuits earlier but then discovered that I had TOM so I didn't feel as bad. Off to aerobics later. How's everyone else? Have fun Fea.

I'm doing ok this week as well. BUT, its Mr B's mothers Birthday today, so we be over for dinner (probably lasagne) and choc cake. I hope that doesn't influence my loss too much. Going to stay synfree for the rest of the day, so hopefully that will balance it out a bit.

Weigh in for me tomorrow, I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not lol. I went to aerobics last night and my normal instructor was off sick, we had this crazy lady who thought that we should all know what we were doing lol! I'm sure she was trying to kill me!!
Food wise I've been doing well apart from yesterdays biscuit blip and then some chocolate in the evening, I hate TOM!!!! Gotta go, I have a meeting to go to. |

Fea - I am so jealous! Shock, horror I know but I might start using the gym:fr::fr: a friend at work goes to yoga at lunchtime so I may just get my wobbly arse over there, who knows:dunno: |
