Thanks Kiwi, for inviting me to join your group I know how hard it is to try and lose weight!!!

I'm trying to do the treadmill atleast once a day for 30min -45 mins and I haven't decided on a diet plan yet any suggestions anyone. The only problem that I really have is that I need my caffeine if not I go crazy!! So any and all help and suggestions are welcomed.

I weighed in today at 157lbs no change!!

Hey want2beHealthy!! I feel ya girl I'm ADDICTED to diet coke but I've really been tryin' to cut back also I don't know how you feel about black coffee but I've been drinking my coffee like that lately to save on calories

As far as a diet a couple people are working on a WW type diet and seeing great results. I personally am just plain old fashioned Calorie counting. by using www.fitday.com trying not to go over 1600 a day but it should probably be 1400 for you since you are smaller than me.

I didn't weigh in today because I just started yesterday. Okay... okay... I did weigh in, and I went up 2 pounds. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm not changing my starting weight. Hopefully it's just water

It's been incredibly busy at work today so I've barely had time to eat. I suppose that's a good thing, but I'm starved now so I need to eat a good dinner so I don't snack all night. I have been drinking my water today, but not as good as yesterday. I've probably had around 60 ounces. I think that's okay, but I want to drink more.

Congrats to Kiwi - 2 pounds is so great

Jamie - 7 pounds is so wonderful. No matter how they're coming off... they're still coming off.

Mandy - 1 pound in 2 days is great. My goal is to lose 1 to 1.5 a week... so you're making it sound easy

Brit - you lost a pound too I gained... and you lost, so you're doing better than me

Neverland - Like Brit said, everyone messes up. Just start again right now... not tomorrow... but now. We all eat too much at times, but we have to stop listening to the voices telling us to eat it You can enjoy the party, just have little portions. Have a good rest of the day... you can do it... don't give up

I think I got everyone. If not, I'm sorry.

I will be good this weekend, but weekends are hard. We usually go out to a restaurant so I get a night off from cooking. It's hard to pick the healthy things when the alfredo dishes are calling me

Welcome want2behealthy The treadmil is great keep it up or you might try speeding it up

I was trying that Deal a meal but basically I do 1400 calories and track it on fitday like Brit. I got tired of trying to convert to pts and calories. But most of all my receipes and snack stuff is WW but since I don't have a book I just use the calories.

Wendy don't you fret. TOM always causes a weight gain.

hey wendy. i don't know if you have an Applebees near you, but they have some great healthy choices. i don't knwo what diet you are doing, but they have som ww selections, so those you know are low cal/fat. i love the shrimp skewers!!
and to everyone who lost!!!!!
i'll be MIA this weekend. i somehow let work convince me that working this weekend was a good idea don't know what i was thinking.

I'll be working tomorrow too. What are we thinking

Thanks for the Applebees idea. There is one not too far away, but the problem is my husband doesn't need to lose any weight (actually he does, but he doesn't think so), and he goes for the fattening places (Olive Garden, etc.). I'll try to be very good though.

Having this "accountability" group is helping me big time!

Thanks Kiwi... hopefully the weight will come off early next week

You know what I'm trying instead of Diet Coke is the caffeine free Diet Coke instead I don't like coffee it makes me crazy I'm going to try the fitday.com thanks for the suggestion.

Kiwi, I am trying to speed up on the treadmill all add a little speed every 5mins my only problem is I can't let go I'm a klutz which means if I let go all fall!!! I'm also going to try to count calories first and if that doesn't work I might try WW. Thanks for your support guys

hey girls! where is everyone's *what did you eat today* post?! i only saw kiwis!! come on girls!! fess up!! i'm late cuz i worked, but i'm here now!

dinner is kinda skimped cuz i worked. i had 3 boneless wings w/bourban bbq sauce and some spinach dip w/chips. also had 1 margarita after work!
so i don't know my exact points, but since i ran my @$$ off at work i'm not too concerned. plus i worked out today! ok. hopefully i'll be able to check in tomorrow night. working doubles all weeked. ugh. why did i agree to this?!?!

Dinner Tuna on Wheat Bread

I must confuse I fell off the wagon today I had a piece of a Hersheys square with Almonds I couldn't help it I'm so stressed out I did work out thought I did 60mins on the treadmill Tomorrow all just have to workout twice as hard right

Don't sweat the Hersheys square with Almonds. I have found its only when we deprive ourselves completely that I tend to binge. I work in a bit of candy into my diet or a small peice of something sinful every few days and it doesn't seem to stop my weight loss. Well atleast it didn't until the last month, LOL I blame the slow progress on a new job and a Subway habit I've picked up. Caffeine free diet coke isn't bad. I started drinking that about 2 years ago and now I like it better that the full leaded stuff.
Well good luck to all of you, I really need to jump start my diet now also-I got down to a juniors size 9 and was so happy about that I kind of lost my focus and got a bit diet sloppy. Time to go at it again, Christmas is only 3 short months away and I want to be smaller than my 14 year old daughter and my 23 year old daughter (almost there).

Hi Tammi I hope this mieans you are joining us!

First let me finish the rest of yesterdays food.

Snack - Rasperry Rugalah 103
Dinner- Potatoes, baked, skin, 115
Butter, NFS 204
Sour cream, light 65


That put me to 1539 calories for the day. I went over by 139 calories

After the game we went to wendy's and I had the potato. But the good news is I drank 3 - 12oz bottles of water yesterday. I am picking it up.

My husband is off work next week. I eat more when he's around
because he always wants to go out and eat.
HE'S MY SABOTAGER!

By the way if you haven't tried WW cookie dough Sundae. oohh La La!
I am such a sugarholic. Its a good thing its now WW stuff.

I will check in Monday with ya. Have a great Weekend!!
