Good Morning Ladies...

Well I'm starting over today and I'm back on track. After eating out for the past three days, I have put 4 pounds back on. I want this weight off once and for all! I bought a new notebook and I'm writing down everything I eat and drink.

Liliann ~~ to a WONDERFUL group of ladies here! You are so right that they are all very caring, kind and supportive! Great job on your weight loss so far, you're doing really good!

Robbin ~~ Great job girl on another 2 pounds down!!! I bet your new computer is so nice! We got a new one the day after Christmas, and I remember how neat it was!

Tina ~~ Great job of keeping up on the treadmill, you're such a good girlie! Also, have fun at the greenhouse today!

Hi there, gang . . . wow it's hard to believe it's the middle of May already. Another beautiful sunshiny day in Nova Scotia. The temperature however has gotten up close to my limit of low to mid 70's. Whoever is sending the hot stuff this way can take it back.

Tina . . . Ever since you mentioned your little potato chip meltdown, I've been into the popcorn. Luckily, I like the air-popped stuff, but just the same I don't need to be filling myself with popcorn all the time. I'm the opposite of you, I can stay away from the chips, but I think I'm going to have to to avoid the popcorn. After all, too much of anything is not a good thing. The cats pulled down a spring mounted curtain rod of undercurtains (sheers) in one of the bedrooms; not an easy task for cats without front claws. I think they were quite proud of themselves.

Liliann . . . Here's a great big, welcoming for you. I think you will love it here. Great bunch that really cares for one another. You are doing well already, girl. Congratulations. Hope we will be seeing less of you more often.

Robbin . . . Wow, another two pounds, gone to ugly-pound-heaven, Congratulations on both the SV and the NSV. It's so wonderful when somebody notices the effort. Makes everything feel worthwhile.

Michelle . . . Attagirl. Get right back at it and that nasty scale- will be back in line in no time. You can do it.

In fact, we can all do it with the help of our cyber friends. Have a great day, gang. Keep moving and shaking and heading in the great downward direction. Here's a little dose of the good stuff to help us along the way. See you soon.

Lillian, so glad you are joining us! I am a relative new person to the group, maybe a month, and i love it! This is a great thread and the women here are positive and supportive. I hope you will find the encouragement you need!

Robbin Yeah on the weight loss and the NSV. I had a few folks comment this weekend and it gives you the best high!!! I am so excited for you!

Michelle I am feeling your new found excitement through the computer & I am needing as much enthusiasm as I can muster right now. So fun getting a new computer isn't it! I hope that four nasty pounds will be gone as quickly as they came!!

Linda Glad you are having good weather and that you are doing well! I rubbed my computer screen on the willpower dust you sent to try to get it to cling when i get up from this computer! I have realized that am probably feeling so many cravings because TOM is taking its time getting here and i usually PMS from day 28 until i finally do get it. So that has helped me hold off a little knowing that once it comes hopefully the feeling will pass! Cats are as crafty as kids when it comes to disassembling things sometimes!!

tTina Keep on walking girl! You are the landscaping queen it sounds like, do you do consulting??? Would you like to visit Alabama? Thanks so much for you support and encouragement You have a gift of lifting others up. AS DO MANY IN THIS THREAD!! Thanks for all you do! I appreciate it more than you know!

Well girlies, my kids are way too quiet, could be cause they wanted a spoonful of peanut butter as a snack and I said yes. So maybe their mouths are stuck together!! Let's hope there is not peanut butter all over my house!

Sending some back to all of you! May it keep us strong and focused on the real task at hand! Erin

Good evening...

Just a quick check in. First I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! Also a big to Lillian.

I had a bad couple of days... I don't know how I did it but I have an ankle strain and it has been very painful... it hurts to move or bend my foot. Today it's not as painful as yesterday. So needless to say, no exercise but I am counting my calories very closely and want to get back to my workouts. Hopefully it will be better in a day or two.

I'll try and catch up with everyone a little later. Hope everyone has had a good day!

Thank you Michelle for the warm welcome!

Cheryl... :waving Hi there pal!.. You were right about these ladies being so caring and supportive.. Thank you for spreading the word..It took me awhile to post on here lol.But I made it!

Lois- Thank you for the welcome! Ouch! ankle pain..sorry that you are in pain with that and hoping soon your ankle will feel better soon and getting into your workout. Ankle pain is no fun! Hoping that you feel better..

Good evening Ladies... My Monday started well, but ended up being unhealthy..it was a whacky weather today that made me depressed, hate that feeling. I do my best to beat depression mode when the weather is rainy and dreary. Tomorrow will be a better day..took out my pedometer and left on top of the desk when I get online each morning to remind me to get my body moving.

Good luck for Tuesday ladies..Keep your chin up and smile ..it brings wonders!

Good Evening Everyone...

It is 98F here tonight and I'm roasting! This weather is rediculously too hot for this time of the year already! My DH and I went and bought an AC for our bedroom when he got off work, and he just left to go buy one for the downstairs in the living room; $219 later for the two. Atleast we should be comfortable and sleep better now! I will do personals tomorrow morning when I have more time. It is so hot out here in the dining room right now! I hope all of you have a good evening...

Michelle...I can't believe you are 98 degrees! Way too hot!! We were out to Portland two years ago in July and it was over 100 for four days stright! Thought I would melt!...Neither my daughter or son had air conditioning in their homes. That was the first thing we made sure we had when we bought this house, was to have central air, but when it get's to 90 or above with high humidity, we still suffer.

Robbin...Congrats on the 2 pounds gone and the new computer.

Lois...You poor girl. All I can say is OUCH!!!! Hope it heals real soon and you are out pounding the pavement real soon.

Tina...Glad you got to go out and have breakfast with your hubby. I love to visit the garden shop, but I usually spend too much money.

Erin...Hope you are having a good day and your kids didn't decide to fingerpaint your walls!!

Linda...Cat's are sure fun to have around. They live in there own little world and think we should worship and adore them on there own terms. I have one, very spoiled fat cat that come running everytime my hubby get's home. As soon as he sits in his recliner, she comes and lays between his legs and wants to be comb. She only comes to me when I'm in my sewing room, and then she wants to take a nap in my fabric, or the latest quilt I just finished which is a big NO NO!! She lives up to her name, which is Princess.

Well girls, it's getting late and I have to get up early. Have a good evening and I'll chat with you tomorrow.

Cheryl

Slimkim Now that you say that I do see a resemblance!! Hope you hang out for a while and join us, this is a great bunch of women and we would love to have you!

Lois Owwy! Have you been to a doctor? The physical therapist in me is going to come out here so forgive me. But here goes, keep it moving in the least painful range and ICE, ICE, ICE no more than 15-20 min at a time and you can use a bag of frozen peas if you don't have a refreezable ice pack! Hope it gets to feeling better soon and maybe an ankle support when you are able to get back to exercise will help keep it from happening again!

MichelleI had no idea Oregon could get so hot!! I would be dying to say the least!! Hope cooler days are coming your way real soon!!! the $200+ seems well worth it when the you are afraid you are going to short out the computer from the sweat dripping off your nose!

Cheryl Hope you are having a good day, not too busy to stop and smell the roses! And to chat with us!

LilianI have had so many start out gangbuster days and then blow it at night!!! I get lonely then and I like to eat alone, so I am with you there girl! Keep in mind though, if you did better through the day, hopefully it takes the edge off the nighttime mishaps, not as bad as pigging out all day long! Grab that pedometer this morning and keep on moving!

Well ladies time to get ready Amelia ready for school!! Had to give her heavy duty cough medicine last night so we may have a real struggle on our hands this morning! Hope ya'll have a wonderful day and will try to check in later! Has anyone heard anything from Tracey or Liza, haven't seen them post in a while!

Kim...Welcome!

Elem.. Thank you for your kind words.

Michelle...Send some sun into NJ.. would love to see some sunshine again. Stay cool and take it easy with your heatwave you are getting.

Morning Ladies... Well, this morning here is dreary and rain again, but I will not let the weather get to me. I am stuck indoors of caring for my family and sure do need to get out and walk to clear my mind..won't let depression get to me, can't afford it.

Enjoy your day ladies and stay strong!!

Good Morning, chickies . . . Another sunny morning . . . but it's supposed to be giving us some rain this afternoon and later into the week. We actually need it; some pretty serious forest-fires already burning in some parts of the Province.

Liliann . . . I'd send some sun if I could. I know how depressing the constant rain can get. Hang in there, kiddo. Let us know if keeping the pedometre on the desk works. I'm sure I'd just get it buried under piles of paper and learn to ignore it.

Erin . . . Sometimes I think the cats are worse than kids. At least my kids never climbed on top of the refrigerator and tried to peel the wallpaper border off the top of the wall.

Lois . . . I can feel your pain. My ankles bother me most of the time. Hope yours is better really soon.

Michelle . . . Wow, that is a horrible temperature for the middle of May. Makes me all sweaty and icky feeling just to think about it. Hope it goes away soon. Enjoy the A/C.

Cheryl . . . Sounds like your Princess would be a good match for my Mouse. He's sure he is the reincarnation of an Egyptian god and takes every opportunity to point out his superior being-ness.

You know I've also been wondering where some of our chickies have gotten to. Come out, come out wherever you are girls . . . we miss you.

Have a great day, everybody. Keep moving and shaking and heading in the great downward direction. Just keep doing the good stuff as much as you possibly can and the rewards will follow.
