Liza, I spoke with Linda via PM about the vote and our original name having won... she suggested I start a new thread for May with our original name... I did not want to confuse anyone. So for that I apologize.

Default Happy Monday!!

Good morning chickies!! A small victory to report...1/2lb. gone today!! Nice to see the scale read 226 but only to be followed by the .5 (bummer). Well it's Monday and we all know what monday means for a lot of us. A new day, week, and a fresh start. Personally, my dear Aunt Flo should be packing up tonight and be gone tomorrow. Yayy! I think her name should be physco time visitor....she's just throws a wrench into all my good intentions. Trying to fight cravings and binge moments was h*// on earth!! She definitely turns you into someone you can hardly control. Anyways...what I'm getting at she's just about gone and I'm back to me on this new day, week and fresh start!!

Linda, my trampoline is 12ft. It's a pretty good size. It's a springless one so there aren't any springs on the sides that you need to be careful of. Just a full 12ft. area to jump and play. You also crawl through a safety enclosure to get inside. Hope you get great results with your new exercise equipment!!

Cheryl, thanks for the cheers. It was extra tough last week too! You're smart to keep only healthy foods around for those snackish moments. I feel so sorry for your foster-daughter, it's gotta be so tough to deal with...especially at her age. You sound like your a great mama and staying by her side. Hang in there girl!

Weigh to go Lois!! 2-1/2lbs. for the week is great! Congrats on your NSV!! You should've done your happy dance anyways, you deserved it!!

Michelle, sorry your weekend didn't turn out to be as sunny as you would have liked. But at least you did get to go shopping! Since my daughter got the trampoline she doesn't want to go anywhere! She started bawling in the mall this weekend when I just popped in a clothing store...just to peek. I told her if she wasn't graceful enough to give mom an hour then she was grounded for an hour from jumping.

Cassie, the nights were my worst times too. Because it's MY time, my daughter is in bed, the daily chores are done..if not can wait till tomorrow. Just me and the TV remote...that always used to lead to the pantry to find a comfort, but not anymore! I actually don't have that urge anymore...well not always, only when it's TOM. Don't worry it'll come for you too! Good job keeping up your workouts!

Robbin, well maybe it's because I've only had one pregnancy, but I'm able to jump without any bladder incidents...LOL! One thing surprised me...I still do a few limber movements on there. hahaha I'm sure the neighbors are having a laughing fit seeing a two hundred and twenty-seven pound woman jumping and attempting the splits in the air!!! Oh gosh, what a laugh! hahaha

Liza, don't fret..maybe it'll be the same as lastweek! It'll just fool ya for a moment till ya know...evacuate. If it doesn't, don't worry...just keep doing what you're doing and your body will have to let go of it's stored stuff. Hang in there girl!! I don't want you to lose heart. Sorry to hear of your nan's stroke.

Well, I'm off the treadmill. Have a great one ladies! I'll check back later I'm sure!

TTfN!

~Tina

Please forgive me, ladies, I am the cause of the confusion. I had hoped the name variation would please everyone but I was wrong. Lois has put it back to the original name.

Tina . . . wow, that's even bigger than I was imagining. Obviously not for use indoors in front of the TV.

LOL...Linda, no I was amazed at how much backyard it has left me! Now for that TV...hmmm do they come waterproof?! It is really great exercise, I would be lucky to last five minutes straight of bouncing. I could feel my heart racing...and when it's racing it's burning calories! But oh yeah...this was for my daughter wasn't it?! hahaha

meowee, my son wanted one of those huge ones too but we dont have a garden so as a compromise i got him a small one from the sports store im sure theres a name for them but cant think wot it is but anyway hes had it for about a year now and iv never tried it but today i felt brave and stepped on it- and it didnt break, it did say it was suitable for higher than my weight but i thought id probably go straight thru it if i tried lol. getting off topic lol wot meant was how bout a little one like that for using indoors in front of the tv.
tina another 1/2 lb! you're shrinking woman!! i know wot ya mean some months those hormones turn me psycho lol!!

Okay, so this is our new home now. I just got a little confused for the moment.

Tina ~ Great job on the weight loss; every little bit gets you closer to your goal! You're getting great exercise just by jumping; you'll be dropping pounds right and left here pretty soon! I'm happy Aunt Flo is leaving you soon. I'm so thankful every month not to go through that anymore~YAY!!!

Liza . . . I think those little ones are called "rebounders", or maybe that is just a brand name I've seen someplace ? Yep that's the size for indoor TV-type bouncing. I'd be afraid I'd bounce right off, though. Coordination is not one of my stong qualities. Maybe they make the little ones with safety netting . . . do you think.

Michelle . . . Isn't it great that they give us one good thing to be thankful for as we get older. I've been spared that monthly treat for a good 10 years now.

Hi Ladies...
I didn't mean to confuse anyone

My official weigh in day was yesterday and there was no additional loss but there was no gain either so my total for last week was just over 2½ lb. I'll take it... because I know this week will likely be slow!

Cassie, it does sound like you are doing great... and I know it feels great... keep it up girl!

Robbin, I'm with you I love seafood too... I could eat it all day long, no matter how you cook it! I never thought exercise could be fun either, but once you get that endurance up it becomes a little easier and then you begin to look forward to it. I'm glad you had a good weekend

Linda, thanks for the support and you are right... it feels good when the kids notice. I checked out the link and that looks like something I could do! ! ! I had to stop watching those infomercials... I was spending too much money but that does look interesting... hmmmm!

Michelle, glad you got things straightened with your account and it's working for you... and I am truly sorry for the confusion

Tracey, don't you just love cleaning out the fridge... take that motivation and run with it girl and I'm sure you will be burning calories... hope your ankle is better.

Liza, I'm sorry to hear that... I do hope she's doing better, and stressful times call for a little bit of chocolate.

Tina, congrats on the loss and I know the other ½ lb will be close behind. AF has just arrived at my door yesterday... I'm looking forward to her packing up and leaving for good!

Gotta run... I got a call for a return viewing for my home this evening ( I am so ready to move) so wish me luck, so I need to get it in gear.

Hope everyone is having a good day, I will check back later.

Linda ~ yes it is great! I had a hysterectomy last year in March, and it's literally the best thing that has ever happened to me! I so enjoy not having to worry about planning my life around that anymore!

Liza ~ Maybe you can talk to your doctor and discuss all of your problems, and then be referred to a specialist. That's what my primary doctor did, and in the first visit with the specialist, she didn't know how I had waited as long as I did to get in there! Don't be too hard on yourself. Tomorrow will be a new day to get back on track. I know how it is so tempting to get off track when you have stress in your life. Try to relax and just be easier on yourself...
