My son is lactose intolerant. We've actually known that since he was about 5 weeks old. (Oh god, those first five weeks of him screaming almost all the time he was awake, the gas, the screaming, the pooping, the screaming....)
I also used to get ear infections often, and they think it was due to allergies. My son also has allergies and mild asthma. Any time the pollen count gets high, his sinuses go crazy, and there's another ear infection. He's on a prophylactic dose of antibiotics right now, another month to go. I'd still bet money he's going to end up with tubes, though. He's still got a double ear infection, and minor (reversible) hearing loss.
It could be SO much worse though. I am very thankful that ear infections, allergy annoyances, and mild asthma are all we have to deal with.
Karen - My birthday is August 29th. I will be the ripe old age of 23. My sister was freaking out yesterday because she just turned twenty. It's all a matter of perspective, although I feel like I'm 30 because I've got a son, a husband, and a career.
Too... much... talk... about... kids...! LOL Just kidding. I just feel bad because I can't help out! LOL Mabye some day, right? Some day... far away.. but some day...
Anyways, Haley we are at the same weight right now! LOL 203.5. That's cool.

Hey Ladies - Thanks for wishing my son well - he seems to be feeling a bit better, but he's just really low energy w/ a fever still (it's gone down w/ motrin). I just hate to see the poor little guy suffer......it's pretty heart wrenching for us mom's to see them like that. Looking forward to my bright eyed busy little guy again! Needless to say, I am not going to get in my exercise today - that's the way it goes with a baby though!

Mel, OMG, he's such a sweet boy!!! Can I just say that I'm SO jealous that Cody sat still and took that adorable picture in the chair? Kalynn will NOT sit still for nuttin' And OMG, yeah, I hear ya, it is SO heartwrenching when your poor baby is suffering and we can't stop it.
I have to say that your husband is very good looking!
Celeste - Oh man, those pictures of Cody were capturing seconds or milliseconds of him sitting still -LOL! I think the photographer did the fastest flash speed he had I will have to tell my husband that he got a nice compliment from you - he'll love it
