Holly that is great we need a motorcycle awareness around here. People just don't pay attention. Thanks for sharing the information and good for you getting the guv on the band wagon for awareness. Congrats on your walk and going to Cruves! You go girl!

It stayed light pretty late last night. It was sort of strange. I am so looking forward to spring. It is suppose to get up in the 70's today. That is so great! No time for riding today though. Super bummed about that.

I am staying on plan and trying to get to the gym which as been diffucult with everything happening around me right now. But I am going to do well this week.

Live to ride all and Keep on Keep'n on! Have a great on plan day.

Ok, don't really have time to read and catch up but wanted to say hello. Ball seasons are starting so life is getting really busy. One playing softball for the high school as well as an adult co-ed league. One playing soccer and one in baseball. I am constantly at a ball field of some kind now.

Hope everyone is doing great and staying on track. I've been staying on track but the scale isn't moving down at all. It moved up. I'm hoping I'm just retaining water. Hate those times.

I know everyone is getting ready to start riding again if you aren't already so keep it shiny side up and rubber side down ladies.

Take care.

Hi everyone!

Sure is nice to have such great warm weather! The DH and I were planning our next motorcycle trip last night. I'm glad this awful winter is almost over.

I've been hitting a lot of mini plateaus. I won't lose anything for a week or two, and then I'll lose a couple of pounds overnight. It's slow going. I'm sticking to my program faithfully, but I know I need to step up my exercise. I got off track this past week. I had a two-day business meeting out of town last week and started getting sick while I was there. I'm still feeling awful, so I haven't even done my usual walking. And it's hard for me to lose weight without some fairly serious exercise.

But the good news is that the weather is getting warmer!!! Lots of outdoor activities to enjoy. I hope you're all getting some decent weather where you live and that you can get out on some nice long rides.

I think it went well! We met in his private meeting room - very high ceilings, very ornate furniture (almost like old-fashioned wh*re house style - red velvet couches with carved, curved wood? come one! ) BUT I digress - it was just Gov. Douglas, his Chief of Staff dude, and us 5 bikers

We showed him, on a portable DVD player, a Public Service Announcement TV ad that was produced by NY state. And we gave him a sheet of suggested voice-overs for radio ads; we had 20 second, 30 second, and one minute ones.

He was agreeable to appear briefly, and speak, on a DVD if we produce it; and he was willing to run over to the radio station (it's just 5 minutes away from the Statehouse) to record reading the clips.

AND we slipped him a packet of helmet choice information

Last year, the radio station near us invited us to let them know ahead of time, and we get to chat at the studio, on the air, for half an hour, if we want. Cool!! Another reason for me to get hot looking, to snag this free airtime for our cause

I just had to post this, though I don't have anytime. I still couldn't wait.

I went shopping yesterday. Guess what I didn't shop in the plus size section for the first time in 12 years.

Can you tell I'm slightly excited? And to top it all off I slept in my dh's tshirt last night. How cool is that? (dh is all of 150 ). Not quite getting that because the scale hasn't moved lately but maybe it is some toning thing going on our something.

Hope all is well. Looks like just about everyone is doing great.

Holly great job with the governor.

Hi all sorry I've been MIA. Very busy right now. We have a lot going on. I lost one lb this week, not much but I'll take it!

JukieF what is the trip plan? Would love to here all about it. Someday, I plan on doing the same, but don't have the time right now. Sounds like a whole lot of fun.

You go Holly! Your meeting sounds like a lot of fun. Get those higher ups on us little people on the streets side! Way to go!

Wannabsexy congrats to you Cheers to you!

Well ALL have a great weekend and Keep on Keep'n on!

A big congrats to wannab!!! we share your joy

Hi to everyone else!

I'm still plugging away, I hope SO so much for some kind of visible success when I get weighed and measured again in April. I'm afraid I'm starting to get a little obsessed about my weight/looks...just about everyone I see, I'm comparing figures or face or hair or everything and usually awarding them the 'she looks so much better than I do' ....NOT a healthy thing to do, I know, but I can't seem to stop it.

I just got back from Curves, but I think I'm gonna do 15-20 minutes of step aerobics now to try to kick myself in the butt

wannab WTG

I'm just sneaking in. Had a HORRID ride last night, got caught in an ice storm. Very dark, lots of lightning, lots of sticky horrid snow/ice sticking to my visor, couldn't see squat and I was on the motorway at the time so no stopping! I came off at the next junction, which went onto ANOTHER motorway, so came off the first junction there and pulled in. I was on my way to kickboxing so I rang the instructor and said that I wasn't going to be making it, and he was all, "Well if you're late you're late... " And I'm about to say, "Look I'm GOING HOME!!!" But then it all cleared up and went to a light drizzle! So here's me all covered in ice and with one soaked and freezing glove from wiping my helmet constantly and I rode to kickboxing, got there on the dot to start class and had to just carry on. That was really really horrid! When I finally got home I just dumped into a bath with a cuppa and tried to warm up!

Blah!

Other news from the Frusmeister - I have entered a MARATHON It's in October so I have plenty of time but still faint: faint:

And I'm still heavy, but I don't mind, my clothes still fit. Perhaps marathon training might have some sort of slimming effect!

Keep on keeping on!

Chicks.....I am BACK from the Vacation of a Lifetime! HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

The weather was perfect every single day...the destinations were awesome (especially the Panama Canal & Costa Rica)....the excursions we chose in each port were all great....the ship was sooooooo luxurious and so was the fine dining onboard...and the pizza and burgers were A+! Needless to say, I've moved my weight-tracker UP SEVEN POUNDS, but in relation to the amount of food I consumed, that's not reeeeeeeally toooo bad. I really thought it would be closer to ten pounds.

Glad to see some loses here....You guys ROCK! What I need from you all is..... so that I can get this fatty fat fat off! It was worth it, but it's time for me to get back back BACK on track.

Pics to follow.....they are incredible.....and I think I took about 500 of them, so once I get them up on an album on Yahoo or somewhere, I'll have the link for you all.

Glad to be back with you, Chickies....I missed ya's!
