I am feeling much better these days! Phew! The headaches have passed, and now I'm just dealing with being extremely tired. It must be all the stress/busyness of the past couple months catching up. I have also been lowering my calorie intake, not by counting calories.. just watching my intake of calories and making sure I am having small snacks to keep me from getting too hungry. Anyways! It's paid off! I am down 3 pounds I am totally relieved! It's a good start! I also went for a walk yesterday, it was a rough start, my knees were aching.. I was feeling old and fat, but I just kept on going and made it thru 45 minutes. I am planning to go for another 45 minutes today. I am feeling good about this, however I have to admit I am eating the WORST food today! Work days are better for me because I don't have much spare time to eat, and I always pack a lower calorie snack. Alright, thats my babbling for today..
Not sure when hubby is coming home, he wants to come NOW but has another surgery schedules on the 24th. The first one went as well as it could according to the Doctors, hope the next goes just as well!

Hey all, just checking in.. been working, going for walks, grocery shopping! I got this great book at work yesterday, 99 cents and it's a 9 week guide to working out and eating right. Looks pretty good. I am a little shocked that it was so cheap, so I'm gonna read it a little more, I have only flipped thru it so far. I saw a reflection of myself today, it was terrible. It sucks when you actually get to see yourself for what you actually look like. Glad I was going for a long walk when it happened...
How's everyone doing? Sorry I haven't been around. I...just have nothing to say. Nothing has been going on around here. Just playing the waiting game right now. I found an apartment and I'm waiting to see if I got approved. I applied for four positions and waiting to see if I got one of those. I feel really good about two of them, my mother worked in the department and I'm know most of the people so....maybe that will work in my favor. I need sometimes, really bad and SOON! I took several days off work and it has been marvelous! But I have to go back Wednesday. Oh, I dread it.
My eating has gotten better, little by little, day by day. Surprisingly, my weight is going down, a little at a time but still going in the right direction.
I went to see Harry Potter with Nessa on Wednesday. We went to the 12:30 am screening since the midnight and 12:15 were sold out. I can't say I'm a fan of HP, I've never had an interest to read the books or see the movies but Vanessa is a huge fan and she had been talking about the new movie for months. There were alot of people of course so I was trying not to have a panic attack and didn't, thank god. I liked the movie. Thought Harry/Ginny were cute and should have been more of them in the movie. The ending threw me off but again, I haven't read the books.
Sunshine's wedding was yesterday. Nikki said it was great, just really hot. She ran the camera and got close ups of John and Kittie bawling. Perfect blackmail.
Shari - congrats on the weight loss! Slow and steady! I'm not a huge fan of the Harry Potter stuff either, I don't fully get it. Good luck with the jobs! Hope you get one of them, and the apt too! Lots going on over there!
I am still puttering away over here, been slowly gaining weight, .2 a day for the past 4 days. But today I am starting out by counting calories, I got this log book, it's quite good, you write what you eat, where you eat it, track your water, grains, veggies, fruit and milk. Not too bad for 99 cents! I bought two of them. It's a 9 week book too, very good! I wonder though, how does one track calories thru their bday?
I'm off work today, which is good, went for a loooooooong walk on the beach with my aunt yesterday, but we went barefoot, and my feet didn't like it. They are sore and dry today, also managed to get myself a nice burn on the back, and to top that off? I walked in my bathing suit with a skirt overtop, got my first case of chub rub! Ouch! I wish I had the body shape of my grandma, aunt and mom, their thighs don't touch unless they are really overweight... lucky girls! Thats it from me! Happy Monday!
Almost at the end of the first day of counting calories, went pretty good. Had to resist lots of temptations! And I missed a meal, I ate breakfast at 11:30, had coffee at 3, and then dinner at 6:30. I'll have a snack tonight to get my calories up, since I am 400 calories lower than I should be. The book I have also tracks fat grams, and I'm lower in those too! 1 day down, 8 weeks and 6 days to go!

I also don't have much to say these days! Leading a boring life.
Slowly getting back on track, I gained 5 lbs before I decided to start watching what I eat! LOL! So back to 141, body seems to think that should be my happy weight but my brain doesn't like it so the weight MUST come off!
Wendy- some of that is water weight I am sure! You can totally do it, you just gotta force your body to maintain 135!
End of day 2 of counting calories, I feel like I could do it forever.. so this is a good thing! I should change my ticker to the start weight of this 9 week program, buuuuut I am too lazy, I am super tired, so bed time for me.. nite!
End of day 3 of counting calories! It's both easy and hard at the same time, weird. Work is, ugh. My cosmetics manager doesn't like me, buuut she's on vacation for the next 3 weeks! Phew! It was getting hard to go to work.
End of day 4, we went to my grandma's after work and I needed to find food. Fortunately she had a ton of veggies, so I cut up a few cups and ate those with a little bit of her low fat salad dressing. Phew! Disaster avoided! 262.8 this morning, yay.. can't wait to be out of the 260's... again.. but for the LAST TIME!
Me again, this is turning into an all Aimee thread! Anyways, end of day 5, today was hard, I was sooo hungry this morning, I ate a great big breakfast, which was good, but with my weird work schedule I missed lunch and dinner! Sucks. But I ended up under my calories, but barely! I didn't enough fruits of veggies. Anyways, I was 262.3, so I am counting it!
