girls!

So I moved into the apartment yesterday. It was just me and Nessa, it was so hot, we were just pouring sweat! But I got moved in and Mrs. Allison gave me some money to put groceries in the fridge. I'm without internet/cable so I'll try to post at work when I can. I don't know when I'll get my internet, I really need to get a bed because sleeping on the floor is doing nothing for my bad hips! The apartment is chaos, I missplaced my scale so I couldn't WI this morning. >.<

I've got to get to work, guys. Have a great week and I'll try to post again soon!

Hi Hi.

I know my posts are far and few between. I am still excising and mostly eating good. The scale is going down, slowly, but it is going down.

On of my dogs passed away about a month ago, other then that things have been good. Had a birthday a week or so ago, it was good - got spoiled! I got a water cooler - have wanted on for ages - it really is an awesome thing.

This week I started reading "Skinny Chicks Don't Eat Salads" - from the title it sounds like a dumb book, another stupid fad diet - but it isn't. It is kinda based on the GI diet that the doctor already recommend to my BF. I think it is going to be good, easy to stick to, and I think it will work! Speaking of that, in 6 weeks my boyfriend has lost 20 pounds roughly following the GI diet! I think I have lost 6 or so, but that is HUGE for me. Most then I lost in 6 months on weight watchers.

But thats about all that is new, how is everyone doing?

Just a quick one from me this morning, been working like crazy, and then helping my grandma out with some stuff. Hopefully I'll have tonight off, I really need to get to bed early... sooo tired! Anyways, I'm off to get ready for work!

-Aimee

Oh yeah.. still counting calories, but haven't weighed myself in nearly a week! Eeek!

Courtnie - sorry to hear about your dog Somehow I missed that on facebook! Congrats to your bf on the weight loss! I haven't heard of that book!

I am still plugging away over here, down a total of 11 pounds so far. I managed to stay mostly within my calories even during my crazy crazy week. I was working 8.5 hours a day, plus helping my grandma out at the folk festival almost every night for 4-5 hours. I think I slept all day yesterday to make up sleep. It was worth it, because I managed to prove to myself that I could stay within calories AND live life!

girls!

How has your week gone so far?

Do me a favor and send good vibes my way, okay? I should find out this week if I got the fulltime position. If I did, that means rent is paid, I get my bed, and I'm back online!

Courtnie ~

girls!

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been off the wagon for a while, but I'm slowly getting back on. Friday, I decided to cut out soda, cold turkey. I mean, all the sugar and empty calories just isn't good for me. I had a massive headache on Sunday from the time I woke up till I went to bed. I think it was from soda withdrawal. But I woke up Monday and I felt much better. Been soda free 4 days and counting! I've also made a routine of taking my vitamins with a container of yogurt as soon as I roll out of bed every morning. Also brought a box of those Bran Buds by All Bran and been putting a serving into my protein smoothie every morning (51% daily fiber in just a 1/3 cup!). I have two water bottle, 34 and 32 oz, and I've been drinking at least three a day along with a cup of coffee with Splenda every morning. I've been trying to get to bed at a sane time (no more 3 am!) and doing the whole 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Washing my face twice a day instead of just in the morning and doing the same with brushing my teeth, even using that mouthwash that's been sitting on my counter for the last couple of months. Using sunscreen in the morning and a face cream at night. Just....trying to take better care of myself with what I have, ya know? My phone has been off for like two weeks, my mama's finances are tight too. Should be on Friday hopefully. I applied for partial unemployment, hopefully I get something. i'm going to try for food stamps. The VA has a freeze on hiring until October so there's no hope of going fulltime till then. I'm just trying to make it.

Sorry for the rambling!

Shari - you've been here more than anyone else lately!! Congrats on quitting soda!! Hard work! You are doing great, thats a lot to do at once, it's like a whole body/mind makeover! Keep it up!!

I am still puttering away over here, counting calories, had a few days off around my birthday, gained some water weight... gonna wait a few days before I get on the scale again to see if the damage is gone. I am feeling motivated to get this weight off.. and it really helps to have the support from my family... don't know if I could do it without them actually.. Anyways, that's it from me.. gotta work tomorrow, which is nice since I haven't been working that much lately.

Got on the scale this morning, and am down the 2 pounds I had gained! Woohoo! I am relieved! I kind of expected to gain a little with the family around, just glad I could get it off so soon. I have 3.5 weeks to lose 3 pounds, I am sure I can do it! It'll be nice to hit a mini goal
