Default Hi Everyone!

It's great to hear all the good news from everyone! I'm staying within my 1500 calories, drinking my water, exercising, and trying to sleep at least 5-6 hours a night (a feat for me because I never want to miss ANYTHING!). I have TWO POUNDS to go until I am in ONEderland! LisaMarie71 and I are the same weight, so I hope we can make this a DOUBLE RUN through that ribbon very soon!

This site is so wonderful! Any time of the day or night I can come here and there are GOOD FRIENDS that I have never met yet I feel as though you are all my sisters (and even a couple BROTHERS!)

I want to thank all of you for being so loyal to me and to one another! What an amazing journey this is turning out to be!

I think the best thing of all is that I have people to support me in this that are struggling with the same demons as I am! It makes me feel like we are an ever-increasing ARMY attacking the ENEMIES (Ms. Eat-Too-Much and Ms. Not Enough Exercise)!

Good Luck everyone! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Cheryl

Go Cheryl! Go Cheryl! Yay!!!! You are almossssst there!!!

I am staying very very very busy with my family. It sucks bc there is not much time for me. I think I will have to be more fierce is carving out time for myself in the coming months but I will find a way. I vow to continue coming here though, even if I'm not doing well. It will keep my spirits up. You all are so great, just like Cheryl said. I love coming here.

We can do this. Even if it takes a while. I told my dh today that if I can just keep going down, even one pound a month, that should be considered good for me bc either I'm losing or gaining alot. LOL. I am just working hard to do that right now.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! Hugs!!!!

Hi everyone!! Hope you had a great day!

I had lots of work and then a meeting in the afternoon, but the horror! it was on a restaurant! :S but I think I did ok, I ordered tuna salad without dressing or mayo; it did come with a broiled egg and I ate two small crackers.

I did went a little out of the way with a small piece of chocolate cake one of my coworkers offered me, but at least I didn't order one for myself.

We'll see how monday weight in turns out :S

selena - You've learned so much about healthy eating, I'm sure even being busy you will continue to incoorporate some of these changes into your life.

vega - eating out is hard! It's so hard to know if you're making a good choice or not, but I just always do my best.

Ugh, AF is in town, which was making me all sorts of crazy hungry yesterday, but I resisted any real damage, but staying within my points for the day.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Woo hoo Susie, way to go on your loss this week - that's awesome!

Also ... good luck at your job interview and make sure to let us know how it goes, okay?

For a brief minute, I thought about a cheat night as well but thankfully that thought passed quickly and I decided against it.

Karis, good for you too with being 210 this a.m. and I hope that it's the same on Thursday [or even lower!] You can do it!!

I weighed myself every couple of days this week and when I was down, I was thinking ... oh man, this is good but I sure hope it shows up on Monday when I weigh-in.

Jenny ... what does AF mean? I think I've figured out the OP [is it on program?] And the WI but am lost with the AF abbreviation.

Cheryl and LisaMarie, whoa - you gals are both so close. I can't wait to see that you've both made it to under 200, it's be so awesome for you and encouraging to us as well!

Awe Sis, we love you too!

I know what you mean and was thinking last night about how good everybody is and what does one do when they reach onederland, do they move on to another board or what?

Not saying that I want those to go elsewhere when they reach under 200 but was just wondering that for when I get down there. [I've got a weighs-to-go [get it ... ways to go?]

Okay ... just am in a silly mood here this a.m.

Selina, you're right - as long as we're losing something and are able to keep it off, it is progress.

It's been so long since I've had little ones at home that I'd almost forgotten how much time it takes and how busy one stays with them.

My kids are 29 and 31 and then I had my granddaughter Lacey for nearly the 1st year or her life and that's been 12 years so as I say - it's been awhile.

I'm glad that you're gonna keep coming here though 'cuz we'd sure miss you if you didn't!

Vega, I think you did extremely good with both the cake and having to have a meeting in a restaurant. I'm not sure I would have done nearly that good so keep up the good work, you're making progress!

Drumroll please ............

I lost 5 pounds this week!!

I am so happy but really worked for it [can you say ... salad, morning noon and night?

Okay - so I don't eat in the mornings [I never have, not even when I was a kid] but ... well, salads noon and night but it's paying off big time!

Actually when I first weighed myself this a.m., I was down 6 pounds but when I weighed myself just before I come here to post - it was only down 5, I think it was 'cuz I drank my coffee betweeen times.

Still - I'm using the 5 pound loss and if I'm good this week, that'll guarantee atleast another 1 pound loss for next week, right?!

No real exercise this week [well - I did about 800 steps one night but that was it.]

I get plenty of exercise during the day though ... okay, not enough but do get alot 'cuz I never sit still.

I've got ADD and am continually jumping up and down to do something 'n rarely ever sit still for more than 5 minutes at a time.

On Today's Menu

What else ... salad again.

I don't mind though 'cuz atleast it's working. Also I've been using a bit less dressing too which is a good thing.

Guess I'll get for now but I hope you all have a good day.

Will post again later [in a day or two] ...

Love,

Jennelle

I am thinking that I am going to stand there and wait until some of my buddies cross- no matter how slow it goes. It's not like I will magically not have to eat salads, chase my kids and walk three miles a day when I lose ten pounds.
It's not all about the ten pounds. It's the next 30 and then maybe another 30 after that. I figure one derland can be that one pound I lose every couple of days that I stay on plan and with the program.
That one pound- is a one derful thing !
Gotta go chase a kids- it's really quiet in there !
Everyone have an awesome Monday ~

Good morning everybody!

I just went to my weakly weight in and even though I'm on my days and I always gain weight those days, I managed to loose 1 pound, is not too much, but I hope to do better next week, I'll add 2 more minutes to my dayly walks and see what happens next week

Hope everybody had a good weekend!

Vega that is great ! You might loose more after your days are done ! Challenge yourself a bit on the walks- try five extra minutes. Exercise has been a key to my loss and it also has made me feel better.
You don't have to turn into a human sweat ball-just keep walking. It can be something as silly as parking far out in the parking lot- so you get the exercise walking into the shopping center.
It's naptime- time to lift some weights I've graduated from one pound cans of pumpkin to little 4 and five pound dumb bells.

vega - great job on the loss.

Jenelle - FIVE pounds? Awesome job!

I have been so bad about exercise, I really need to get on the ball with that. I'm doing good on water and food, so I need to step that up a bit too.

Thanks everybody. I am here! My cable guy has been working on my connection bc it takes like 3 minutes to open each page. I'm not joking. So anyhoo, it's just a little better but not fixed. So I am just saying hi and hoping this will send! LOL. Weight is the same. That is good.

I want to say congratulations to all of you who have lost this week. That is just so great!! Keep it up!! I intend to also. Thank you for all your sweet comments and support. I promise to remember what I've learned.

I miss you all and hope to have more time soon to come read and chat. Have a great rest of the week!!!!

jenelle - did I forget to answer you about what AF was? Aunt Flow, aka, the witch, my period, etc.

selena - good for you for staying on track. Hope the cable is fixed soon.

vega - moving more is always good.

As for me, not too much to report. AF is on her way out the door and today when I weighed, I actually saw a loss! This is good, though I won't report any loss until tomorrow, as that's my official WI day. I may not post until later, since DD has a WBV tomorrow morning, but I will post!

Karis ... you are so right ... that one pound is a onederful thing.

Vega, way to go with losing 1 pound. I know when I only lost 1 pound, I was kind of discouraged but after I got to thinking about it - well, we gained them one pound at a time and atleast we're going in the right direction now, right?

Thanks all so much for the congrats on my 5 pounds lost this past week.

It's really given me a lot of steam to keep going.

Jenny ....... oh, so that is what AF means. I would've never thought of that.

I'm so glad that you saw a loss and hope that you'll see it tomorrow as well! I'm sure you will.

Yesterday and today went really well with me as far as eating goes [I just wish I could say the same about exercising. ]

Talk to you all later!

Love,

Jennelle
