  • I am changing my siggy !As of this morning I hit 191 !
    I actually ate close to 1300 calories yesterday. I even went to McDonald's and had a one of thier Crispy Chicken Southwest Salads.
    It was also a non exercise day.
    I am not getting off track- just giving myself a small break here and there.
    Sometimes things at home are just plain stupid.I am hoping that it will get better.
  • Hi everyone!!

    Well, I decided not to wait until monday to go to the diet; I went up 3 lb But I got my new diet and today I went out, walked 48 min. I hope I can loose those by next friday.

    I've made a new mini goal to loose 5 k for my may vacation, it's quite some weight but I hope I can make it, I have to make up for my past week mess :P

    Wish me luck! is really nice to be back with you guys! Is so much easier to keep trying when I'm around!

  • i dont know if have posted on here before but im so excited for everyone in here! i cant wait until i see 199 even if its 199.9 lol i would still freak out, thats is my goal for the summer and i surely need all the support i cant get.

    Vega, you're doing great on your walking and don't worry about a few pounds up 'cuz as you said, it should be gone by next week, right?

    And ... to me lately, it seems that the key thing is that we do NOT give up and see, you're not!

    This past week I didn't have that much self control [yep, you gals know my weakness by now. Those darned long johns! ]

    If it weren't for those, I am sure that I would have had a loss this week.

  • Well I like cake, too Vega !
    I actually ate some and about 1100 other calories yesterday and did not exercise. Infact I took a nap. Atleast it was big protein and not all fat.
    My inlaws are coming and combined with some dreary weather made me go haywire. I love them to death- but the step Mother is a bit much.
    I am crashing on the diet and they have not even left home ( NC).
    We are from totally opposite worlds and both of us difficult to boot. There are the questions- can I serve fish- must I serve beef ?Can I just eat my meals in peace ?ARGGGG ! That was a problem even when I wasn't on a diet.
    I just need to recover and get things cleaned up a bit. I need to run to Sam's and wash one more slipcover.There is a light somewhere at the end of the tunnel- I just hope that we can find the switch when we get there !

    Well I haven't been able to walk this week, I have my sleep schedule all wrong and just can't get out of bed on time to walk and get ready for work, but I've been very carefull with my eating I'm aiming for 1300 cal max a day, see if that helps loose those 3 pounds I gained.

    jennylou congrats on loosing those 3 pouns! way to go!!

    sirak: hang in there! I know is hard when there are visits at home, that was what made me fall off the wagon on easter, but I know you can do it!

    I weighed myself at home, and even if I'm not very fond of my scale, it said I lost 2 pounds since friday, hope it's right! we'll see on my friday weight in at the doc.

  • Stranger things have happened in my life, but I peeked this morning and saw 189 ! I jumped off the scale before it had a chance to change it's mind. Now I am ready to fight again- I don't remember being 189 in the past 5 years. I think shortly after I went to work as a Food Stamp caseworker I might have weighed that much. We pretty much ate away the stress in that job.
    The cake has gone away, and I went to Sams and bought food for the invading horde. They are only five days here at the house and a two camping weekends.
    The really nice thing about camping is that no one in the camping group has any idea that I have lost weight. I am a bit excited about seeing my friends and just getting out for some fun.
