Katie what is BL? And is it worth it? I have been running about 30-40 minutes a day for about the past 10 days. The only problem is ever since I started doing that I seem to be up everytime I go to WI. Any ideas why this is? I WI first thing in the morning before I exercise or eat. I dont get it

That is actually a good thing. You are building muscle that weighs more than fat does. It sucks to gain a little when you start exercising, but in the long run it is better because burns more fat than fat does alone. Make sure that your center has you on the appropriate plan though. If you are exercising more than 5 hours a week, you need to be bumped up a plan so that you can continue losing and your body will not go into storage mode. BL is Biggest Loser. I love it, but when I started it I was really out of shape. Being able to run every morning is one of my "wants". I am hoping that by May, I can really get outside and start running with one of my dogs. Keep up the exercise, you know it is so good for you!

Hi Megan:
I bought the BL DVD at Kmart for 9.99 if you are interested. I heard about it here in the site (because Katie mention it) and I really like it. I alternate it with a video of latin dancing and aerobics, but I prefer BL.

It's called Zumba fitness is really cool. It have four dvd's#1 is for beginners that teach you the basic steps , #2 is Abs,thighs and buns and is combination of yoga, pilates and basic exercises for that parts of your body, #3 is Advanced that is the basic steps a little faster and combined with aerobics, #4 is Power and I love this one because it have a part for kids and my kids love that one because is really fun. What I like about this videos is that the music and the exercises are not like other videos that stay the same music the whole time, Zumba have merengue, salsa, a little of belly dancing, hip-hop, flamenco and others and the guy called Beto combined the steps with aerobics but basically is dancing, and is a bilingual video too. You can find them on ebay more cheaper or go to zumbafitness.com. Did I just made a free commercial?

I think you did! Anyway, thank you. I have always wanted to dance. In high school me and DH would go to the clubs on country night and 2 step. Sadly, he is really a much better dancer than I am. I really love to go, though. Of course, those were the days of size 3 Wranglers. I had this red pair that fit me perfectly, drove DH, boyfriend back then, totally crazy. I'm not so much of a Wrangler wearer now, but if I can ever get back to a 3, I am going to buy a pair of red ones, just for him.

1hr Go-Go Dance at a place near me called Studio Rio (they teach a stripper style workout). This was the first time I went, it was fun and very CORE orientated. My quads and abs are killing me !

Today I actually ran OUTSIDE. It's so hard for me to run in the "real world". On the treadmill I have been able to get to 3.61 miles in 45 minutes. But when I run outside, I start out too fast, get wiped out quickly, and can't go on.

Today, though, I ran SO SLOWLY that an old lady walking could've passed me by. BUT I did it today. I was able to go 2.4 miles in 33 minutes, which is slower than my usual pace, but at least I didn't get too worn out.

Small milestones. At one time I thought I could train for a long run, but I just don't see that happening , maybe someday.

Slimmerkim:
You have to be proud of yourself! You did it! All that people that you see running a long way they started step by step. Don't be so hard on yourself.
