Okay, you guys have convinced me that I am going to have to get a pedometer. Another long day. I think I got about 11 consults but some of them couldn't be done because the patients were comatose or on ventilators or things like that. You can't do a psych consult on a patient you can't talk to. (well, actually you can but we won't go there.)
Dee-I only listen to contemporary christian music so unless you into jammin with Jesus while you workout, it might scare you alittle.

I went to a Luau at my Moms church. They had a full pig up on a table so I went up and the girl cut off a little piece of fat for me. I was like thanks. So I was stuck with no protein in my meal. I ended up having some fruit, candied sweet potatoes & a slice of pineapple cake for dinner. So I'm not going to give myself the carb points today since I had some really bad carbs with dinner.

Petra~ LOL, You didn't say horrid rap or heavy metal so I'm not scared! It may not my choice for working out, but I do have some Christian music on my mp3 player too. I have just about everything on it except the aformentioned really scary bad music BTW, I think the pedometer is a wonderful idea.
Val~ I ws doing ok today too, then had fatty pork for dinner too. I had the option of trimming that nasty fat off and I didn't so I'm really really angry with myself . Entering it into fitday really opened my eyes as to how bad it really was Next time I can't plead (false) ignorance!
Curly~ Even the no sugar added yogurt is high because of the fruit. I forgot to take my jello to work with me lol so I didn't get to try the new treat. I'll let ya know tomorrow.

Today's experiment..... i replaced the flour in my waffle recipe with protein powder
they came out looking beautiful ... light crispy... but im not sure i like the mouth feel if that makes any sense... lol but then nothing appeals to me this week bad tummy still... if nothing else they would make a nice replacement for those little strawberry cups for shortcake.. or maybe use them for bread ?

Morning girls!!
Yesterday was a good day until I went to enter my stats into fitday, last night the internet was down!! Anyways.....I had no idea how crazy the carbs were for SWEET POTATO!!! And....I only had about 2 T (no marshmallows or brown sugar...just a baked one) but holy cow!!! That and some soy crisps really pushed my carbs over my limit also. Seems like alot are in that boat.
I downloaded a novice training schedule for that 5K race I'm doing in April and today is supposed to be a 1.75 mile run. Problem being is that it's like -5F outside and the gym is closed today. Not sure how I'm going to get that cardio in!!! Ds is invited to a rollerskating party today, and I'm not sure strapping those things on will be a wise decision either. haha the last time I went, I could barely make it around the boards Hard to believe in highschool, that I could waltz, do a fancy 2 step and go backwards.....NOW?....I can barely go across the rink!!! Shoot me if I'm like one of those old ladies, hesitating to get on the escalator!!!

hehe.... I dunno what's come over me!!!....so I'm at the roller skating party and it looks like alot of fun.....SO I STRAP ON SOME INLINE SKATES!!! I was reliving my highschool days!!! SO MUCH FUN!!! I wouldn't say I was 2 stepping or even waltzing like I used to.....but it HAS been over 25 years since I did this!!! Anyways, I'm so proud of myself, I skated for over 1.5 hours!!! hehe....I'm sure I burned some calories, right?
oh that is great angel eyes,i tried to skate back in september for the first time in 5 years and i fell and broke my arm right in the elbow,it was not fun so congrates on skating good.

We had our weekly meal out today and I chose mexican. I had corn tortillas & corn chips with dinner so I didn't give myself any carb points. I only give myself carb points if I have GOOD low glycymic carbs all day. Tomorrow is my weigh day and I'm hopping to see at least a pound down!
Curly your pictures are cute! Its nice to put a face with a name. I've been weird about having my picture taken since I started loosing. I'm really not seeing the loss as visable yet but when I do I will be sure to share before and after pictures!

I woke to a dusting of snow.. its all mooshy now but was really pretty this morning.. my ex ex lol the ex before my last EX came down from DC and we went for a walk in the snow... that was nice.. it was funny tho cuz he was my BF in my late teens and 20's till late thirties .. we always loved checking out old abandoned houses...
and today he said now that we are older if we got caught i should just tell the police that he just wandered off and i came to find him ... he said he would tell the officer no.. i didnt see that no trespassing sign ... "cant see a thing without my glasses" . old age ya know... lmao
