Congrats on the pound Curly. Hope your tummy is feeling better. We are having the same crazy weather. It was 50 here yesterday and it is about 20 today and windy so I'm sure the wind chill is very low. I'm a little behind on my egg posting so I better catch up

Friday and Sat: no posting: 0 eggs
Water: 10 eggs for each day: total 20
Exercise: 10 for Sat (walked dogs and did a ton of shopping till my feet felt like they were going to fall off)
Carbs: 5 for Sat (had 44 on Friday and 37 Sat-woohoo!)
Calories: 20 (1046 on Friday, 1791 on Sat.)
1 Pound lost: 100
Total: 428

I took a ton of my "fat" clothes to the salvation army yesterday. That was a big accomplishment. I also went and checked out BJ's yesterday. I've lived here 5 years and have never been in there. It's pretty cool. I used to belong to a Sam's in Virginia but I think this is nicer. At least they have nicer stuff. I think I'm going to join. They have great meat for a great price and even some organic produce in reasonable size containers. I also got a George Foreman grill. I've wanted one of those for awhile. I got one with all these different plates and I made waffles this morning. Low carb waffles--now there's a concept for you. I discovered there is an art to waffle making because the first ones I tried to make just made a great big mess. Then I sort of got the hang of it. I wasn't crazy about the recipe I used so I'll have to experiment with some other recipes.

Funny doggy story. Yesterday when I was loading my clothes into the car for the salvation army, Kobe ran into the street with his electronic collar on for the invisible fence. I can only guess that he must have thought I was packing up for vacation and leaving without him. Anyway, he got shocked. He jumped in the car and I couldn't get him out. Took me about 20 minutes to coax him out of the car. Actually, I just got his leash and dragged him out (of course, I took the collar off so he wouldn't get shocked again going back the other direction). Crazy dog.

I used a Dana Carpender recipe with almond flour and protein powder.

Buddy has learned his lesson and doesn't even go out the front door with his collar on now! LOL.

Curly congrats on the pound lost!!!

Petra nice of you to give the clothes to SA. I was thinking I'm going to hold on to mine for a while. Just in case I actually have so many fat clothes being at this weight for 10 or more years. I have some really nice work clothes I was thinking I might be able to sell to get cash for my new clothes which I need but am holding off on for a while.

Tomorrow is my weigh day. I hope I lost something. I was so hungry last week and was under 1600 only 4 days. But I did exercise a lot so hopefully at least one pound!

February 25, 2006

post daily:1 egg

1/2 hour of exercise: 5 eggs (walking outside)
Only favorable carbs: 5 eggs
track calories: 10 eggs (947 calories)

Default halfway there!

Hi Everyone,

I just did my weekly weigh in and lost 4 pounds! When I changed my ticker I noticed that I'm exactly halfway on my weight loss. I'm so excited because I see that I really can do it!!

Of course my stupid ticker doesn't show up on the post I most want it to.
