The zone diet recommends strawberries. It is a low glycymic carb and very healthy for you. I get the big bags of frozen strawberries and have them for a snack with splenda!

Curly, I'm almost certain it is 1cup of strawberries=11carbs. There is some fiber in there you get to subtract. Otherwise, all the lowcarbers in the world would be in big trouble because it is the one fruit we feel pretty safe eating. The grapefruit is about right. I eat grapefruit sometimes. I think half a grapefruit comes to about 9 net carbs. It has some fiber too.

Yes, those are my beautiful doggies.

whats up pic's ? i am working till 12 30 then i have to go get ready for the deep freeze heading here tonight.. i use a kero-sun heater as a supplement to my regular heat ... actually i try to keep the furnace from running. so i have to go get kerosene.. and get ready they say the wind chill will make it feel like 3 degrees!!!

I am having some troubles... hmm never thought i would be saying this... making myself eat.. ever since i had that stomach bug last week its like nothing appeals to me.. and my calories are dropping each day.. which is NO GOOD for losing weight... Almost like the thought of food just repulses me..

ohh....Curly I didn't know that it was still lingering.....take care and maybe try to eat some of your basic bland foods.....some good ol' chicken soup might help. Stay warm

charlie....yeah, sorry.....In Canada we call it Guides instead of Scouts. Old habits die hard...hehe. So is it true then? I did really well, just ordered 2 boxes....one for dh and one for me. Those samoa's get me every time. In Canada its nice and simple......all choc. (like oreo's) or choc. and vanilla combined...THATS IT!!! When we moved to the States, it was like a free for all.....HOLY COW...I couldn't believe all the flavours!!! OMG...its really a big business down here.

Just got in from my workout at the gym. I'm glad thats over with!! I'm pms'ng BIG TIME and although I don't get TOM for 2 days, I really feel like its coming RIGHT NOW!!! The boys are fighting and getting on my nerves also....LA LA LA LA LA...I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!! Might have to send somebody to their rooms. Have a good day, bbl.

Hi Everyone!

Curly sorry your stomach is still feeling a bit off. I know all the things they say for an upset stomach are loaded with carbs.. toast, crackers, rice, bannanas. I've been having the opposite problem recently I've been really hungry and going closer to 1800 calories a day.

I had my new member training at Womens work out world and I learned 10 new machines. I can't believe how much harder they were then the curves machines even on the lowest weight! I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow!

Angel I'm so glad that my scout leader friend didn't ask me to buy cookies this year. Maybe she took pity on me knowing I'm on a diet! She use to drive around with a trunkfull of cookies. Those things are so good they're evil!!!!

I hope everyone has a great day! Tonight is our night out diner and my husband is wanting to go to a steakhouse. It sounds good to me but after all this talk of colen cleansing I'm getting paranoid I have a bunch of yuck building up!

well went to the grocery store.. picked up some really pretty strawberries.. now that i know they are safe to eat... Have u ever seen a dog go insane till u give him a strawberry?? chai loves them... Found some nice Kale also... that should clean out my colon!!! & cabbage

a friend at work is having a bday monday.. and she is always saying she would like some chili... since her family doesnt care for it.. she never makes it so i also got the small frezzer containers and i will portion it out and she can pop them in the freezer,,, so i will make her a batch of chili tomorrow! now thats a different bday gift!

then me and chai went for a nice long walk... wooo is it windy

Cant find my lil feral cat today.. she usually is right under the house.. maybe she went over into the woods to play.. tho i see her food i left for her this morning is gone... she may be spooked cuz we have a new neighbor that moved in real close by.. and maybe she didnt care for their commings and goings..
