Amberelise - what willpower with the pizza! Way to go! I'm sure the Halloween candy will be appearing in my office in the next day or two as well. Today it was a big box of donuts from my favorite bakery. I stuck them in the dishwasher when I ate my lunch so I wouldn't have to smell them. I put them back on the table though before I left the break room. Good thing no one came looking for them during my meal - lol!

Hello ladies - on the black teams results thread, someone asked if we were going to do a challege this week...

I know that the Flight To Weight Loss Freedom thread kind of went by the wayside since the Blue team decided to do their own challenge. Though, I do realize there were still a couple of very dedicated ladies who are on that challenge still who deserve a VERY big pat on the back!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I need a good challenge to give me the last push to Halloween.

Does anyone have any ideas for a good Halloween workout challenge for just The Black Team this next week?? Or, just a workout challenge in general?? OR, do we all want to jump back on the Flight Weight Loss Freedom challenge??

Post your thoughts, lets get something going.....

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have not been participating as much as I wanted to in this challenge. Between work and some personal issues, it's taken me away from the computer and my attention elsewhere. I kind of got bored with the Flight to Freedom after the 3rd round - but to those still posting!


I saw your discussion about a new challenge. Anyone up for a lively game of Fitness Bingo? It's a bingo card but instead of numbers, each square has a fitness activity. There are 24 activities in all as well as a free space in the center. You write each activity on a slip of paper and every day draw an activity. (I think we should only draw one activity a day otherwise this challenge could get finished too quickly). When you complete it, mark an X on that activity on your bingo card. First person to get a row completed - horizontal, vertical or diagonal - you know - just like regular BINGO - wins the challenge. Actually we all win from the extra activity - don't we? I would say the super challenge would be the first person to fill up their entire card with all 24 fitness tasks.

Anyone game for that?

I'll post the bingo card layout shortly.

Congratulations Cassie on a VERY successful week! as well as to everyone who achieved their goals.

For those of you who have the ability to see a Word document on your computer - here's what the bingo card would look like. I will have to figure out how to write out how to draw one up if someone can't see this.

Let me know if you're interested in doing this and I'll set up a thread for us.

HI everyone!
Alana Jo, you know the deal...calorie counting and exercise! I probably work out more than most, because I do over an hour of cardio a day..but I split it up into 45 minutes in the morning and about 30 minutes before dinner.

I'm really, really tired today...I stayed up too late last night, and I just want to go crawl back in bed and sleep the rest of the day. *sigh*

Hey girls, sorry I've been away. I'm completing week 2 of being sick. I finally made the call to my doctor and she phoned in a prescription for me. Gotta love a doc that doesn't require to see you to know that you are ill just by listening to your voicemail! haha What really stinks is that I talk all day on the phone so as the day goes on my voice gets worse. I've picked up my meds, taken my 1st day and will hopefully be on the mend soon.

Now my next order of business is finding a gym to join. I'm getting really tired of only using the treadmill and when I want to use my TJ videos hubby is in the only room that we have that I have enough room to do it in. I was debating between 24 Hour Fitness and the YMCA... The Y is a lot cheaper and my son already does sports through them so that would be the wise choice...


Oh, and I like the bingo idea as well...I need something to pick me back up!

I probably need to up my exercise. I do 30-45 minutes usually.
