  • Realitymom - on those 4 pounds!!! Send some of those vibes my way please!!!!
  • Quote: Hey everyone! I lost FOUR pounds this week! I weighed in at 289, so I left the 290's (Lord willing, FOREVER!!) WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! I am so excited. I may meet my mini-goal after all. If not, I'll be darn close, so it's all good. Welcome Dumplin! Great job on the 2 punds Andi, your droppin right along! No worries Cassie, it may be a plateau as andi suggested, next week may yield a higher loss than usual! Hope everyone had a happy weigh in!!
Congrats on the 4 pound loss and leavin' the 290's! You are so close to your mini goal!!!

I can't wait to get out of the 250's...I'm hoping this week will be it and I will say good bye to the 250's forever!

Hope everyone weighs in shortly...45 minutes until the deadline...
  • Reality Mom - what great results for the week!

And a big and to everyone on the Black Team who did their best efforts this week.

I went to the Smokey Mountains for 5 days. The nearby towns cater to tourists with fast non diet friendly food. So eating was erratic at best although I tried to make the best choices I could. At least I didn't gain this week!

It's hard to not gain when you are away from home for that long. Congrats on the no weight gain!

Also want to say congrats to everyone on their efforts this week as well. It was definitely a challenging one for me as I did not exercise nearly as much as I should have and I know a lot of us are feeling that way. Here's to another week
  • Good morning, team, and congrats to all losers this week!

I think this week will be a better one for me, as I was down .5lbs from yesterday when I stepped on the scale this morning...hopefully I'll have a nice loss to contribute next week! I don't think it's a plateau, I think my body was trying to catch up to the big losses I've had lately. Whatever it is, I just want to see the scale go down, down, down.
  • I need some big loses! Ive been depressed all day. Ive had a bad month. I lost 6 lbs this month and I really wanted 10. I know I should be glad I didnt gain, but I feel like Im losing my grip on this. I have to get back into control.
  • Ok. Confession time for me. I've been MIA the past couple weeks, although I did post my weight.. but I still haven't checked in with anyone. My weight has been down and up and back down again. Emotional eating has taken it's toll. But I decided today to start over and continue on my weight loss journey.

It's TOM and I'm actually back down this week. I don't know how I haven't gained all the weight back the past couple weeks but I haven't.. yet.

It looks like everyone is doing so well with their losses and those who haven't.. today is another day, make it worth it.

London - I told Stacie and I'll tell you too.. If you need any help with ANYTHING, keeping track of people, weights, challenges, anything, let me know. I work on the computer all day and have a lot of free time... so just PM me if you need help organizing anything.

    Have a good day everyone!

WOW Andi18!!!! Congrats on the 1 month, the 14 pounds and the inches lost. You truly are the incredible shrinking woman!!!! I need to know, what on earth are you doing to make your legs shrink?? (I'm assuming you measure your thighs??? ). Everything else on me in shrinking BUT my legs or calves! GRRR!!! You certainly deserve to be SO proud of yourself for your accomplishments!!!

My 60 day anniversary of being OP is coming up on Monday! I've never stuck with ANYTHING for 60 days in my life (well.... other than marriage... and mommyhood )

Cassie - I LOVE your new avatar!! SO CUTE!!!!

Valentinebride - everybody has their days, or weeks, or even MONTHS of emotional eating. But, you certainly have the right attitude about it - get back on the horse and declare today a NEW DAY!

Baileysmomma - I'm the same way. In the last month, I think I've lost around 5 pounds. I was rooting for big loss! But, those 5 pounds are 5 pounds I never have to look at again!!! I think I remember one of TBL contestants saying that the most important pound is the next one you lose. My losses have been 1 pound this week, 2 pounds the next etc. I'm just waiting for that day I get on the scale, my body has caught up with all my smart choices and exercise and I see I've lost 4 pounds in one week.... until then, I'm happy with my 1 or 2 pounds - pennies add up to big money.... a pound or two here and there adds up to big weight loss!!

    How is everyone else today???

The weather here is GORGEOUS!!!! I am certainly loving it!!! I love having the windows open, letting the fresh air in! It's good for me AND the kids! It's put me in a cleaning mood, so after my time with Bob this morning, I've been scrubbing down everything! Doensn't that count as cardio?

Let's all get in gear and blow BOTH the Blue & Red teams out of the water this week.... Blue team may be winning the challenges - but the most important thing is winning the weigh-ins! C'mon girls, we can do it!!!!
  • Andi - those are great results! WTG!

VB - Glad you checked in, real life can take a heavy toll on us sometimes. You'll get thru this.
  • Thanks, London...had to put up an avatar to show my "mommy pride"!

I'm feeling good today...the scales finally went back "down" to 237, so I'm hoping and praying for a GOOD LOSS come Monday morning.

I did 4 Really Big Miles with Leslie and the gang this morning..I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I LOVE LESLIE! She is just the best instructor ever, she makes me feel like I can DO this. Wonderful, wonderful. I actually look forward to working out "with" her everyday.

Speaking of...I better go and post my exercise in the challenge thread! Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone! Go Black Team!!

Thank you LondonJulz and dixiedieter! Actually the legs (yes I measure the thigh - my calves are huge thanks to 6 years of ballet - 18" at least it is muscle! ) I will contribute to the treadmill. I will usually try to do at least 30 minutes between 3.2-3.5 miles per hour. Yesterday I even did 4.2 mph for 3 minutes straight. I'm trying to push myself into a jog. I'm upset that I'm not losing more in the hip area. That has always been my struggle area. I need to do more Turbo Jam!

Congrats on your upcoming 60 day anniversary of being OP!
  • Andi, WTG, that's 15 inches!

Cassie, 4 miles, I can barely do 2 miles! I like Leslie too, but I don't get to do WATP much anymore because of my job.

Thanks for the encouragment Dixie and London!

Make sure everyone is posting your exercise on the Flight to Weightloss Challenge.

I've only been back on track for less than a day, but I already feel so much better about myself.
