Ladies, I have been a wreck throughout all of November. The scale didn't budge and I really can't say I expected it to.

This week I got back on track with Hancock practice and a trip to the gym. I've also gotten back on track with pre-planning my week's meals. So, I won't be anywhere NEAR my goal for this challenge, but all hope is not lost. At least I'm back into the swing of things.

Now the goal is to be 130 by my wedding which is at the end of May. I know I can do it, I just need to be a little more motivated next time around.

Sorry for not weighing in. My internet is out at home. And a crazy week here too. We are all very upset here at work. The one and only person that knows EVERYONE was fired yesterday. I was in the office with my big big boss for an hour and a half and just gave her a piece of my mind. So right now everyone is stressing because my two bosses that are left are really not up to par with everything since they have only been here for 4 months. As opposed to the person that got fired (my other boss) that has been here for a year and 4 months plus worked at another one of our centers. *sigh* its going to be an interesting journey.

Hey girls, so sorry for not checking in this week thus far. It has been a crazy week here in Omaha, NE. My mind has been pretty preoccupied as I had Wednesday afternoon off to go to my son's Christmas program at his school and we were going to head over to the mall after that to do some Christmas shopping. Thankfully my family and friends are ok, but what has happened has really hit the community hard.

On a good note, tomorrow I am doing a Polar Plunge into a freezing lake to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Nebraska. The high tomorrow is going to be 17 degrees. This was supposed to occur last Saturday but it was postponed due to an ice storm...go figure, it was 32 degrees last Saturday.

I too have been pretty off track the last month. I haven't made it to the gym nearly as much as I was hoping to. I have been more in a maintaining mode for the time being and I am trying to turn that around.

Well, the good news is that those of us that got off track are now willing to get back on the wagon. And, what better time to do it than over the holidays when everyone else will be packing on the pounds.

We can do this ladies!

I weighed myself this morning, as is Friday tradition, and I'm up 2 pounds. However, I have some serious cramps so I'm hoping it's TOM. I had to go off of birth control because of my blood disorder so now I'm incredibly irregular. I haven't had TOM visit me for two months now. (No, I'm not pregnant, just wacky.) I thought he was visiting me last month but it was for all of 1 day. Haha, my body is messed up. The month before, he visited me for 2 weeks.

ANYHOO. . . My goal is to be at 144.5 by the time our next challenge begins in January. It's a tiny tiny goal. But, to be under 145 would be the world to me because I haven't been below that in AGES. Though I climbed stairs yesterday, my eating wasn't at it's best. It was under 2000 so I don't think I gained, I just don't think I lost anything either.

I'll try again today! I have a Christmas party tonight, though. Uuugh. Wish me luck.

I wish we could retain this team next challenge. I love you girls so much. But, if we combine our chat thread, we'll still be able to keep in touch which is good.

I've been neglecting our team this week too. December is busy for me, everyone tries to get projects doen in the first 3 weeks so they can take off on the 21st and not come back in til January.

Cassie - If Vegas is like Biloxi (on a much larger scale, of course) you'll see more old ladies that supermodel types. Old ladies wearing track suits and gold sneakers with a ton of jewelry. They're a hoot, I can't wait to get old so I can wear whatever I want.

Andi - I was wondering about you when I saw the news reports. I'm glad you and yours are okay.

Nicoyaangel - I worked at a place like that and eventually had a nervous breakdown because of it. Toxic workplaces aren't fun.

Amberelise - Have fun at your Christmas party!

Julz - Hope you're feeling better.

Everyone I missed ~ have a happy Friday and I hope the weekend doesn't bring any temptations that you can't overcome.

Baileysmomma - congrats on your mini-goal! That is awesome!!!

dixiedieter - same here - work has been so busy - and I am one of those people taking Christmas break off, so I'm absolutely swamped trying to get things done.

Amberelise - hope the Christmas party went well!

Andi - brrr - Im cold just thinking about it. I have enough trouble motivating myself to go outside to shovel - I can't imagine a polar plunge!!!

Nicoyaangel - hang in there, hopefully everyone will rally around and make the best of a difficult situation.

To everyone, I hope that I am on the same team with at least some of you next time - you have been awesome teammates! I have really enjoyed getting to know you over the last 13 weeks. It has gone by so fast!!
Blessings to all

Well team, final weigh in day! I weighed in, and I'm happy to report that I have lost 36.5 lbs since beginning this challenge. It's been a pleasure getting to chat with you ladies, and I hope to be fortunate enough to have some of you on my team for the next round.

Oh, my loss for the WEEK was 2lbs. lol.

Counting & Dixie - Thank you for your kind words. Its hard right now. Me and my other boss are trying to have limited discussions with the boss that fired the other lady. And I meant to say that the boss that was let go knew EVERYTHING not everyone lol. So right now we are stuck. Friday is supposed to be our company christmas party but since its a "team" thing me and my boss (my one and only confidant) have decided not to go. We really dont feel like a team so we are not going. We also feel like we are walking on thin ice. What if they decide to let us go? Everyone says they cant because our center will just fall apart but they are hiring "floaters" and training them in different centers so its like "ok who is next?" and we are nervous. Especially since in the same week my big boss fired my other boss and a teacher. Today is the first day without our director and a parent that had a conference already asked me why he wasnt meeting with her. I hate being put in that position telling them that they have "moved on". Then he asks where to? OMG! Can we just drop it when we say have moved on? Ugh! But nobody is happy. I just hope we dont have teachers quitting left and right. I dont know what is going to come of this.

Anyways, Amber - I feel your pain about falling off. I have gained almost everything I lost. I am up to 231lbs according to the scale *sigh* I just have given up on trying. I want to get back on for the next challenge and actually want to hit the gym again today. Its horrible that my life can have so many things coming its way and I have to tackle them. I am not happy. I have the backaches again and the headaches. Plus, I am not happy with my appearance. I got a hair cut and decided that new year new me and will try more. But I guess we will see if I can get motivated again.

Hey Black Team!

Just wanted to let you know I'm closing this thread. Please post in the ongoing chat that Diva created for the next 5 weeks.

Good Luck at the weigh in!
