Thanks Alana Jo! I didn't end up working out last night, my throat now has that nagging scratch in it, but I am feeling more upbeat...Possibly tonight! I made chili for the football game (we get together with another couple at their house to watch the weekly Vikings games and we bring the main coarse) so hopefully that will soothe the throat! Gonna have to do portion control though.

I got on the scale this morning and it was still at what it was yesterday!!
I lost 4 pounds this week!! Goodbye 250's forever!

Great job on your loss, Andi!! I'm also glad you're feeling better! Being sick sucks in and of itself, but when you're trying to stay on track with working out it can really put a damper on things....

Yesterday was hubby's birthday. Needless to say I used up my entire weeks worth of extra Weight Watchers points on Pizza and Smirnoff Wild Grape and brownies.... HOWEVER, it was SO worth it!!! We had a lot of fun. 2 of our bestest friends came over last night with the pizza...so we had a game night. The kids actually went to bed early. SO, we got to have a game night minus children running around.... I've got extra working out to do THIS week because I rarely even dive into my extra allotment of points. But, I guess that's what they're there for! Glad I already had my weigh-in day for this week. Hope you all are having a great weekend! I will check back in later. My in-laws are *hopefully* coming down to watch the kids so that hubby and I can go out by ourselves. I can't remember the last time we had some time with just the two of us. I think we're going to go get coffee and go sit at the lake. ahhhhhhhh... will be so nice!!

Can I ask an off topic favor?

Is anyone interested in helping me with some research for a paper I'm writing for my marketing class? Its a quick 6 question survey about your laundry detergent and cereal purchasing habits. Please PM me if you have a couple minutes to fill in my survey...thank you!

I need help from everyone!!! I am losing motivation and I am afraid to even step on the scale. This week I have been soooo tired. I don't know if it is depression or if I am getting close to tom. I haven't over eaten, but I haven't made good food choice. I just need to get the motivation again. I am going to apologize ahead of time for the weigh in, because I have a feeling I am going to be up.

I done good at Moms today, but not so good this afternoon. I had a bowl of cereal and kinda over did it. I went over on my calories, but not by much. I did exercise a little today even though today was suppose to be my off day. I wouldnt be surprised if Im still in the 260 tomorrow.

Look how far you have come. 12 lbs is no easy thing. You did it, and you can continue to do it. TOmorrow is a new day.

Ok. I'm officially platueing... and I don't like it. My normal weigh-in is on friday and it said 218, so I decided to wait til today to weigh-in.. thought maybe it would go down.. no, STILL 218!!! I'm going to try to change my eating habits today to see if it will help. I'm going to eat something small every couple hours, cause sometimes I feel like I'm starving when I wait too long between meals. Aghh..

To those who might be stalled, consider this. My weight loss goes in a weird cycle. 3 weeks out of the month I may not lose anything, or might lose/gain 1/2 pound. The third week I lose a lot more. I can't accurately predict when I'm going to lose, but eventually I know I will. So I don't worry about the individual weekly numbers, I just worry about the general trend, for instance if I gained overall for the month or lost. Does that make sense?

Hey Amy, don't ever apologize for a weigh-in. We've all been in that same boat. We've all had our rough patches. Sure, this is a friendly competition, but more important than the weigh-ins are that we're all trying to get healthier!!!! Just hang in there and stick with it! I've had a stressful week too! I got up at 1 this morning to have a huge glass of chocolate milk (and made with whole milk nonetheless). I had a stressful day yesterday, went to bed stressed, and had a weak moment when I woke up in the middle of the night. It happens to everybody!

Valentinebride - I hit a plateau around 215! It's the most frustrating thing too. I wanted SOOOO badly to just get out of the stinkin' 2-teens and to hit a plateau made me even more frustrated. Turn that frustration into total pissed-offness and take it out in your exercise. You'll be off the plateau in no time!!! Eating small, healthy snacks throughout the day is a great idea!
