LOL, I've built up my endurance, I used to DIE with 2 miles, and now it's almost too easy. I do 2 miles at night, but I always do 3 or 4 in the mornings. The 4 Really Big Miles DVD is awesome...I loved it!

Diva, thank you for finding the Q&A and posting it here. That will hopefully answer a lot of questions...

I thought I would repost this.. It's a great idea and will help *whoever* keep track of our weigh-ins better. Thanks.

That is an AWESOME idea. I wish there were a way to delete the posts on there of people who haven't even weighed-in since the first week.... and the extra posts by people who don't check in here anymore.

On a side note - is today national snack day???? I have had the munchies all day long!!! Luckily I've made good decisions (not hard to do since we don't keep junk in our house) but annoying nevertheless!

Maybe a mod can do this if asked? I dunno...

I'm gonna go check the weigh-in thread and see if I had any "extra" posts in there I can delete

I borrowed this from the 100 lbs forum and thought I'd like to hear your responses to this question too...

Do you have a secret goal in your weight loss? Do you want to achieve something that you haven't told anyone? Besides just fitting into smaller clothes what are you secretly wanting to do?

For me, my aunt and uncle are very athletic, always running, competing in marathons and such, I just want to be able to do this too. I want to feel like I fit in with the rest of my family. And my cousin has a gf that is SUPER THIN and I feel like she's always looking at my fat when we go to the lake... It makes me feel really uncomfortable.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Ooooooo... that's a good one ValentineBride.

I hear ya on the family thing though. My grandparents (on my moms side) have 14 grandkids. And out of all of them (including the guys), I weigh the most!! So, I'm so ready to pass on that title to someone else now! I remember once we went to my grandparents house (my grandma makes the BEST homemade chocolate cake), so I grabbed a piece and my grandpa said "you could afford to miss a meal now and then". He's old and a little senile, so I don't think he meant it as RUDE as it came out. I cried the rest of the day. I also have a 10 year high school reunion coming up sometime in 2008 and I'd like to go back there SMALLER than I was in high school (I've never been small... I was over 200 pounds by the time I graduated). I want to be able to do a sexy surprise lap dance for my husband (sorry if TMI). I don't feel so sexy right now.

Good afternoon, team!

I'm doing well. I just got back from grocery shopping, and so now I'm POOPED--ha! I had my son with me, so I took him to get his haircut..he HATES getting it cut [he's 2], but he looks so handsome. He cried while she cut it, so to "make it all better", I bought him a Thomas the Tank Engine Toy. He's OBSESSED with Thomas. Then of course I had to buy my daughter something, or she'd be mad when she gets home from school...you know how that goes.
So now I'm home, and the house needs cleaned...sheesh.

Anyways, the scale was down a bit more this morning...I keep expecting it to go up after the bad week I had last week, but it looks like things may be looking good for next weeks weigh in--yay! Just gotta keep on track this weekend, but I'm not really worried about it, because I know I will. I'm almost shocked to think that...I used to be SO sure that I was going to blow it on the weekends, but now I just know that I won't. Power of positive thinking...I think I will, and I will. I know I won't, and I just won't. I'm rambling, sorry.

My secret goal is to be a stripper for my husband. Naughty me! Blah, I'm a married woman...I can be as naughty as I wanna be.

Okay, then you understand the Thomas thing...my son goes NUTS over him, lol! He has DVDs, pajamas, cups, bubble bath..it's insane! I usually avoid Thomas like the plague when I'm at the store, because he wants it ALL.

And...

our husbands will be very happy men one day. Well, I'm sure they already are..well, you know what I mean.

I have no Thomas stories to add as DSS is 10 and currently obsessed with transformers and legos.

My secret goal is to be relatively the same size I was in HS at my next class reunion in 2009 (20 years, I must be the old lady on the black team at 36). I was very small in High School, but in horrible shape, if that makes sense. Puny as opposed to fit.

I think DH would like some pin-up type pictures. Not exactly centerfold stuff, more the 1940's glam type.

Hey, I'm a photographer and will take any reason needed to go to Florida! (GO GATORS!) We may actually be moving to Gainesville in the next year or year in a half. So..... whenever you're ready to shoot some 40's style pin-up photos for your hubby.... I'll do it!

Dixie, that reminded me.. I love the old time photos at the beach. I'd want to be a flapper girl.

Tonight I went to the halloween store with a friend.. and I think another secret goal would be to fit into those darn sexxxy halloween outfits by next year and head to the bar.. geez... some many secret goals!
