I will be glad when life slows down just a little bit. I did horrible last week. We ate out alot on the trip and I don't know how to eat healthy on a trip. I guess I need help with eating on a trip
Wow Amy, you have had and are going to be having a hectic life for awhile. So sorry to hear about your husband's uncle, my condolences. Good luck on the move! It is hard to eat while on the road. I love my Calorie King Pocket Counter book. It's nice and small and includes restaurants so I can see what "healthier" choices I have when eating out.

Congrats on surpassing your goal Cassie!! That is awesome!!

I swear it's never ending. I worked out last night for 20 minutes last night, was feeling a little weezy when I got off and went to bed still hacking. I wake up this morning to another sinus infection. I'm starting to feel like I am allergic to working out

Then to top that all off TOM is starting

But on to good news:
2 hours of TBL!

Go BLACK TEAM!!!

Entertain me Bob!

Gee Andi, you're having no luck with staying healthy. Maybe with the calorie restrictions you're missing out on important vitamins? I really hope whatever it is, you get better. It's hard to work out when you're not feeling well.

***************

Unfortunately, I only lost a .5 lb on the week. I'm worried next weigh in might not be that great, either, but I still have a good amount of days to go to try and make a loss. I had my best friends wedding over the weekend and then my other best friend came down for two days from Canada to stay with me. I did very very well until last night when I had a slice and a half of Chicago style pizza and a scoop of cold stone (albeit light) ice cream.

I can tell I've made lifestyle changes based on the fact that for lunch yesterday I ordered a veggie burger with a side of veggies and with my order of light ice cream instead of the full fat version. However, those are good changes for when I want to MAINTAIN the weight. (I should have stayed at once slice of Chicago Style pizza whether I was attempting maintenance or weight loss. I'm upset with myself for that one.) But, I'm still trying to LOSE some weight so I KNOW KNOW KNOW I'm not being diligent enough.

Uuugh. This weight loss stuff is HARD work. I am just not diligent enough.

Anyway, we stayed the night at a friend's house so my Canadian friends could stay at my place. So, I wasn't able to pack anything for lunch today. My boyfriend went back home after the Canadians left and packed it all up for me and brought it to me. Isn't he sweet? Looks like I'm officially back on track today.

We're practicing Hustle Up The Hancock tonight here at work. We'll probably just climb 51 flights today. Then we want to go home and do some weights at the gym. I miss the gym so much! Who would've thought I'd be saying that? I don't think I've been to the gym since maybe Tuesday of last week. It's been too long.

Thanks cuz for taking the time to add up the Black Team numbers. Much appreciated!

probably JUST climb 51 flights today.... you are officially my hero. I would be lucky to climb 10 or so before I begged for an elevator! Though I guess it's not called "who can ride up the Hancock the fastest in an elevator!...lol) How many flights IS the Hancock?? And how many stairs in each flight? That would be a fun Black Team Challenge... seeing who could climb as many flights of stairs equalled to the Hancock Building in the least amount of time. I'd have to go find some stairs to climb - but I'd do it. We'll have to think about that. It'd be our way of "supporting / honoring" your own challenge.

It's no problem at all (cuz.... awww... ), I actually quite enjoy it. I'm one of those werido's who likes working with numbers...

Your boyfriend sounds like a true gentleman. My hubby tried to be sweet and made my aunts semi-famous chocolate chip cookies last night... UGH! It's not so much the cookies that tempt me... it's the cookie dough!! I told him to not make any because I can't resist it... he said "just don't eat it" HA! I am a woman, don't ever tell me "just don't eat it" when there's chocolate involved! So, I'm hoping that someone else will eat them ALL while I'm gone today (I have a meeting on campus again today). I told him next time he wants to be sweet, buy me diamonds

I'm off to go get ready to head to the school. YAY! (by the way, I'm going for an Associates Degree in Business (for our Photography business we're starting) - I then would like to go for a Bachelors Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (that is in relation to the "I'm one of the weirdo's who likes working with numbers" comment I made above.)

Have a great day everyone!!!

There are 94 flights in the Hancock. I honestly do not remember how many steps to a flight. I'm going to gues 12? I'll count tonight and see how many there are here in my work building.

Well, I think the thing to remember is that we'll set 51 flights as our goal for tonight. BUT, it might take us 45 mintues to climb those 51 flights, haha. The idea is to run the Hancock in 20 minutes in February. THAT would be something.

We'll see.

Of course I'd love a stairs challenge because that'd spur me on for my training. However, people have got to keep in mind it's not great for the knees.

Btw, I hate working with number. BLECH. But, somehow that is what I do on most days at my job.

Andi18- TOM and Sinus junk .... will it ever end!?!? So sorry to hear about it all. This time of year is especially rough, but to have to deal with all that too....flat out sucks!! Hope you get to feeling better soon. And as for TOM.... at least you know he'll be here and gone pretty soon.

Cassie - it's so awesome that you already met your goal! Now, send some of those vibes my way!! I've been hovering around the same weight for over 2 weeks now and I'm about to get fed up with it!! I can't blame it on TOM because he's still about 2 or 3 weeks away.

Baileysmomma - I think it's the time of the year. I haven't been doing that well for the past few weeks. I just want to eat everything in sight and don't want to get up and move my body at all. The BINGO challenge is the only thing that's getting me moving!

Dixiedieter - We have all eaten out of stress before. I'm proud of you for not taking a Freebie week. My goal is to not use anymore of my freebies for the rest of the challenge. It's the only way I can force myself into accountability!

How's everyone else doing????

Also, how would everyone feel about a "Hustle up the Hancock" challenge to show support for Amberelise and her huge challenge coming up in Feb?? I'd set it up as a side challege since we have BINGO. It wouldn't be a "who can finish the fastest" - but just a "who can finish" challenge. It would involve stairs (and as Amberelise mentioned - stairs are bad on the knees) -but you could also go at your own pace. So, if you all are interested I'll set it up. I think it'd be fun just to show support for a fellow Black Team member... and also would be fun to know that I climbed the same amount of stairs as she will be in February (just not in 20 minutes....lol). Let me know your opinions!

Where are all of you at??!!?

Today was my weigh-in day. I went up a pound earlier in the week. I was at 206. Last night, I stepped on the scale it was back to 205. This morning I weighed in at 203... I literally lost 2 pounds overnight?!?!?! But excited about it nevertheless. Sorry if **TMI** but, I think it has something to do with the fact that I hadn't had a poo in about 4 days!! So, on Wednesday I started in with Metamucil...and this morning before I weighed - the Metamucil kicked in and I got rid of 4 days worth of poo.... again, sorry if TMI...but I am SOOOOOOOOOO stinkin' close to ONEderland! It's been 10 years since I've been there! So, I'm hoping for 4 pound loss this next week. OYE!. I'm gonna go for it full force. My hubby will make sure of it!

Today is my weigh in day, too. I stayed the same. 146

BUT, TOM arrived today - a whole week early. So, I'm hoping that's my savior.

Also. . . I GOT ENGAGED LAST NIGHT!

Thanks Countingdown! I don't think I've ever been more proud to have half-naked pictures of me on the internet..... wait..... I haven't had any other half-naked pictures of me on the internet before.... but I'm proud of those.... well, proud of the accomplishment - not of allowing myself to get like that. I know you know what I mean...lol
