today wasn't as good as I had hoped, but part of it was because my roomie hasn't gotten milk yet (it's her turn...was last time as well now that I think of it..) and so I couldn't have my slimfast. I know that just sounds like a lame excuse, but I really do better when I have those everyday. I guess I have more motivation not to cheat cause I'm paying more for that than the food (or at least in my mind I am). But anyway, it wasn't all that bad either, so I'll just call it a draw.

And, while I'm definitely not asking your age or anything, I was just thinking that I seem to be the youngest one here...by, well not a lot perse, but...enough. I just kinda stumbled in here one day. I'm really glad I did, but it feels a little...odd.

missindy- I am 49 years old. I have been married to my highschool sweetheat for 33 years. We and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

I am glad you are here with us and hope that my age doesn't scare you away.

Hope things get better for you with your roommate. When my husband and I went to college we had 4 children and lived in campus housing. It was very hard we both worked and went to school.

Missindy...I am ahemm........the big 40 : However I act like I am 20 However weight has NO age limit... at different ages in our lives we all struggle, so don't let that discourage you...I have at daughter at DUKE University, in NC, so I know all about campus life, I too went to college seems like yesterday, keeping up with my daughter keeps me young along with my 12 year old son, a cat and a dog and a DH who could steak and potatoes every day of his life but I won't let him so don't feel out of place cuz you're young, this "old lady" needs a young outlook

Well ladies I hope the queen eats too many snickers bars today ooops did I say that
Not really hope we all stay on track and do not eat too much candy today Don't forget to exercise too....

Well, today is Halloween. I was supposed to go to a bonfire tonight, but I'm so far behind on my homework I'll just be all night instead. Changing to all upperclass courses sucks. However, on the diet front that's good, cause lord knows what kind of food they would have.

Also, I am never eating out again. Well, that's probably not true. But I was stealing pics of Ruby Tuesday food from the site to put in my speech about working there and I decided to check out the nutrition info. holy crap. It's horrible! I mean I knew it wasn't good, but... I used to eat that stuff everytime I worked a double. Not anymore.

Well, today is another day. Roomie's getting milk this afternoon.

Good Morning!!
I feel so good today. The weather here is great. Cooler weather makes me more active. I feel good enough to praise our Queen. All hail Queen Scalewatcher. Even if your throne is coming to an end!!

Well it looks like I am the oldest of the bunch which means I'm the WISEST and the one who has had the most fun!! I just celebrated my 49th!! Hey Suz and Danni great info on the water. I am drinking about a case of water a week. That's about 3 16oz bottles a day. I thought that was good, but according to your info.I should be drinking about 6 bottles a day. Wow. I have alot of work to do.

Suz, I love cold water with lemon but what's with the hot water? What's that for or do you just like hot water and lemon?

Danni we still take the kids out for Halloween. But our Fall Fest is a time to enjoy friendships and add new ones by having a huge party that all age groups can enjoy. Some churches around here hold Fall Fest. on Halloween night so that we don't have to go door to door and its save for the kids. But this is of course centered around kids not adults.

I will go trick or treating around if it doesn't rain unfortunately theres a 70% chance of rain what a bummer . I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!! I always dress up this year I will be a platinum little red ridding hood will try to post pictures of myself and family. I have been doing good when it comes to exercise I power walked 30 min yesterday. I will weigh in this Friday and see if my scale tells me so. Big hugs and HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!!!!

It was a good day. No cheating. Got in alot of exercise.

2 of my GKids dressed up as a Seminoles foot ball player and the baby girl was a Cheer leader for the Seminoles. My other 2, one was a Incredible charactor and the other was "the Queen Angel of Kindergarden"

Another beautiful day! Spent the day yesterday with my sister and daughter in Love.
I plan to go to the lake and feed the ducks today. There is a walking area there so I will also walk.

Well now its time for Thanksgiving, more food to contend with. Then Christmas and all the sweets that come with that holiday! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

My sister started weight watcher and has this receipe book. I'm going to see if they have holiday desserts. That would be good.

I love the Holidays. Not just for the food. Its the attitude during the holidays I like. People are nicer. More thoughtful (Except for last minute Christmas Eve shoppers )

Good Morning Everyone

Welcome to the greatest month of the entire year! As I always say there is NOVEMBER and then there are all the rest....

Last night was very very hard for me..I almost went off of my new healthy way of eating

Every Halloween I host a bonfire, with pizza and subs, beer, wine, the guys usually take the kids out trick or treating and us women stay behind keep warm by the fire and pass out candy, well all that food
that sub was calling my name, ....Dannnniii....but I DID NOT EAT ANY I went in the house and ate a 5 calorie pickle instead and today I like myself so much more for not blowing it So watch out Scalewatcher....all you will be watching is ME snatching that crown off your head come Friday...

Kiwi..sounds like you had a great night too....way to go!

Hi guys,
Well all went excellent no rain so we began trick or treat at 7 till 10 pm I did cheat had some chocolate 8 milk duds and 1 small mm pack and 1 small twix UUUHHHH any how I walked for a long time so maybe I worked it off I couldn't power walk I was with my 2 nieces and nephew they are small so that was kinda hard. My son roller bladed till he exhausted and of course this morning was hard to get him going to school. i know this i am about 2 months late in asking, but can i join your group? You all sound like a supportive bunch of people and a fun group to be with. I was 171 pounds (im ony 4"10"), and I went down to 124 pounds, but i feel like i am slowly gaining weight. I now weigh 128 pounds, need to lose about another 20 pounds for my height. I hope that Im not interferring in your group and if you have too many people, I understand. Otherwise, i would love to be there for you guys and to have support from you for me.
