Oh boy. Here I go. Things are starting all over again tomorrow. I'm starting with a clean slate. The only thing I will keep in mind is that I've already lost a lot of weight. I won't think of how much I had lost and gained back or anything. I think that might have been my downfall. I got myself too discouraged.

Keep up the good work y'all. You're making me jealous! I'm gonna have to start kicking butt just to keep up with you!

Oh, and wish me luck. I start my new job tomorrow morning. Holy cow am I nervous. Specially since I have NO idea when I need to be there.

Good Morning everyone!

Scalewatcher are you ready to exercise? I didn't do it yesterday because I got to running behind for church. Then just totally flaked out the rest of the day. 21 days makes a habit so I'm starting over today! I want to get myself into the mind frame that by 8:00 each morning I exercise. So that is going to include the weekends.
Since I'm weighing in Mondays and Fridays I'm changing my ticker today!! My goal this new week is to lose 1-2 pounds and exercise no less than 10 min each day.

Suz that is awesome. Consistence pays off again!

Good luck Missindy!

Hpnotq, way to go on the exercise! You are going to do it!

Chat later

Hi Everyone:

Glad to see everyone back

Hello Hpnotg....... glad to have you and great job on your walking.

Kiwi.....well at least some good has come from thos bp pills

Today is my weigh in day...and I lost another 2lbs!!!!! Whooo HOOOOO !!! I am at 182 girls!!!!
I walk at least 45 mins a day everyday no matter what, most days I do more but I shoot for 45 and all the extra running I do I don't count as exercise. I have to get mine in when I can....calories per day around 1500!

Just wanted to check in and give my report and tell everyone HELLO

Drink your water....and keep moving....did you know that if you fidget (ie bounce your leg, wiggle your hands etc. you burn more calories than those who don't), so start fidgeting girls....

Good Morning Kiwi I did my exercise at 8:00am. I have had a pretty good day so far. I stayed on track yesterday with my calories. How are you doing today. I know you must have been exerciseing at the appointed time cause I could not get you off my mind the entire time. How about the calories did you stay on track? WE ARE GOING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN 'CAUSE WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER. BTW my knee is feeling much better today.

Way to go Danni, that is pretty exciting, at least for you!: Just messing with ya. I didn't realize you walk or run as much as you do! That is pretty great! I actually admire people who do things I have absolutely no desire to do! ha ha ha But then again that's why you are losing quicker than me.

MyIvy congrats to you. I see you've lost alot over the holidays!!

Congrats to you Scalewatcher! That's awesome about the weight. Did you chose a another type of exercise to do for awhile instead of walking? Yeah I think of you each morning when I'm dragging myself out of bed wondering how did she talk me into this? But I do it and we will get this weight off!!

I drank water all day yesterday. I feel really good about that.

I'll write later.

Talking Good Luck To All

HI All!!!!

Well I'm glad to see everyone has been trying to exercise I myself have kinda been lagging will try to push myself back to CURVES I will I am happy to see such motivation you guys inspire me. I plan to go back on meds this afternoon I skipped the morning dose been trying to slowly take myself off the meds but now I want to loose 20-25 lbs quick so will go back on. Also I will cut my carbs again and will do 1,200 cal intake.

I HOPE THIS INFO WILL HELP EVERYONE THIS IS WHAT I GO BY AS PER MY DR.
FYI FYI FYI FYI FYI

CARBS is about 30-40% The type of carb you eat is very important.

1. Decrease starchy carbs including pasta, rice, potatoes, and bread.
2. Do not eat bread after 10:00 am and do not eat free sugar.
3. Increase intake of fruits, veggies, salads, no fat soups and fiber.
PROTEIN
Protein should comprise about 40% of diet.
FATS
fats should comprise 20-30% of diet.
1. Eat low or no fat when possible. When eating fats, or cooking with oils eat monounsaturated fats such as olive oil and canola oil.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
2. Coffee and or tea in allowed in moderation.
3. Refrain from eating late in the evening.
4. You may consume alcohol in moderation although it slows metabolism.
Note after initial period of weigh loss your metabolic rate will slow down and weight may stabilize temporarily this is known as plateauing do not become frustrated.
Exercise
The most important type of exercise for fat loss is aerobic.
Try to exercise slowly and advance to 45 min a day 5 days a week.
Strenuous exercise is not necessary and may be counter productive.
Goal is to maintain your target heart rate within a zone that calories and fat are burned efficiently.
Example stair-master, jogging, brisk walking bicycle riding.
Weight training not advised.
Duration and frequency are very important factors in your exercise program.
During first 20 min of aerobic carbs are used for energy.
Only there after does the fat burning begin.
The duration is more important than the intensity.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

OMGosh, I had a good workout. I extended the moves further today. I felt like I could have done more but I started coughing. I'm still struggling with that soar throat but its getting better.

Good for you Bonnie on the exercise. Sometimes just getting started can be a killer. 21 days in a row makes a habit (so I'm trying to force myself into making exercise a habit. ugggh! ) The migraines, have you been sick or cutting out something in your diet that may have triggered it?

How did you do Scalewatcher? I'm glad your knee is feeling better but I still think you need to chose an easier on the knees exercise.

How is everyone else? Have a great day.
