  • ooh! can I play too? I'm sorta new here, but this sounds really interesting and a great way to hold myself accountable. I do have a question though. Are we just gonna tally up the final amount and put it on here, or do we post how much we made for each category. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I just wondered.

    If I understand your question Missindy, I believe we are adding each catergory and then the grand total.

    Example of Monday thu Friday;

    posted 6 times @ 1.00 each (only 2 per day count)= $6.00

    96 ounces of water @ .25 cents per 8 oz =$3.00

    Exercise 15 min a day 6 days @ .25 cents= $1.25

    cheating twice @ .50 cent per offense = -$1.00

    1 Pound lost @ $1.00 each

    Grand total $10.25

    Does that help? We each will have a nice bit of money that we have earned for our efforts.

    So how is everyone feeling about the date to start?? Me and Want2beheathy wanted to start yesterday but Tigger wanted to wait until Friday so she could get the needed supplies. Now we have several newcomers.

    Why don't we do this.

    Everyone Weigh in on Friday and we will begin ready or not.

    So get all your food together, your tapes, weights whatever you will need to help. Make a copy of the rules. Get your questions in, etc., Invite your other friends to this post. The more people the more fun it should be.

  • Hey, I would love to join as well. I love posting, so thats not a problem. I just need that accountability. I need a group to keep me focused and this is perfect. I went back and read all your post. Kiwi24 you remind me of me a little and we are going to push each together. If thats okay with you.

    I think the game is a great idea!!! I need to get jumped started as soon as possible.

    I am 37 with a 15 month old little girl. Married. I have been getting more and more overwieght by the day for 10 years. I want it to go away, get lost, and never come back. I joined a gym in August. I have been counting calories only.

    I'm 5'7 and needing to lose 100lbs. I'm at 250lbs now but to be a bit realistic I opted to choose a mini-goal for myself. Trim down to 225lbs then tackle the rest.

    I am usually online everyday at any time of the day. I'm not currently working because I'm getting things ready for my VISA appointments. I'm planning to relocate to the US. If all goes well, I should be there by January.

    I've always yo-yoed since I was about 18. As far as I can remember.. from 210-140lbs in a year or less. With diet and exercise. AS soon as I hit 40.. i started packing on the pounds. What can I say.. I love eating. Sometimes I think I have an eating disorder cause I can't stop even when I'm not hungry I'll eat. I know this but my willpower isn't exactly that strong. I can give a lot of time and encouragement to all the members in our team. I'll be posting on a daily basis unless the power goes out or the internet connection drops. Lol.

    I also play with a lot of graphics.. and I love the idea of making a poster for us. What if... if you guys are willing.. let's put all of us in a poster.. RL pics and turn it into a movie poster.. LOL.. and even a comic strip series.. hahhahha that would be so funny.. but great for motivation.. and something to do other than munching on food we really don't need.

    Count me in! This is it ladies... buckle up!

    As far as everyone posting their weight. When we weigh in Friday put that weight on your ticker (where you do your signature)That way we know where we all are at. Hopefully, it will change every week!!

    But the important thing is we each keep track of our own money and our own points. This is Strictly the honor system. It really doesn't benefit anyone to stretch the truth. It eventually, catches up with you.

    When Friday Oct 27th rolls around EVERYONE must post there results no later than 11:59 AM. The Queen will be announced by 12:00 pm Friday. Then if we need to tweek the game we can do so Friday after the Queen
    is chosen.

    I would suggest that everyone take alook at the $$$$$ amounts and see if all of it agrees with everyone. The money adds up. Make sure you can pay your self. If you write yourself IOU's each week you will bum yourself out because you won't really have money. So lets make sure everyone is good with the $$ amounts now before Friday gets here.

    another thing.. Im not in the US and we use a different currency...I suppose it wont hurt to make an IOU or maybe just use the same denomination equivalent but.. lol imagine.. 1$ = 51 Php. I dont know if I can afford it hahhaha

    lastly... the thread has really grown... 22-23 pages long... I've been trying to read every page but I get lost in all of it. Would you please post the guidelines/rules before the start off date so we can all see them in one nice post and not have to keep going back and fourth? Pleaseeeeeeeeee!

    I did see the changes Kiwi we are starting on Friday the 20th when we weigh in cool I hate the scale.

    Kiwi - Thanks for worrying about me I just had a lot of things going on the last couple of days. My granddaughter Kaili (2 years old) is sick and she is in the hospital. She is doing better tonight. Maybe she'll go home tomorrow.

    I will be ready to start this challenge on Friday. That is the day we start right? I will post again tomorrow, got to get some sleep.

    As far as World Domination? I'm not selfish, I'm perfectly happy with my current plan of owning the United States, appointing myself Queen and charging rent to all those I ALLOW to stay on my property After all, I will need servants.

    On a serious note. Remember when I said we would pig out until Friday. What I meant was I would pig out until Friday. I bought me some choc. covered waffers. Oh yeah, I intend on eating the WHOLE package before Friday.!!!

    Don't say it. I am very ashamed. Really I am.

    I'm excited about Friday, I hope everyone has got it all together. Tigger, You are the one who first got me drinking water. We need to both get back on track with that. I learned to love Diet pepsi. Why not try Diet Dr. Pepper?
