  • Ivy - Don't be hard on yourself. It happens to all of us at one time or another. I have been stuck for a week. I have read other post where the same thing happened. You just have to keep up the good work and it will eventually pay off. I keep telling myself that as well. I would be very happy if everyday I could see a drop of some kind. I am getting smaller in inches but not lbs right now. I know that it will start to happen again soon.

    Kiwi- I am not sure about the game you are writing about but if you all want to try and tweek it, I'm in.
  • Good Afternoon everyone

    My Ivy, I know exactly how you feel the scale doesn't move with me it hasn't moved for 3 weeks and I don't know what to do? Should I increase my excercise time I work out 2 hrs a day 6 days a week, 3 days including weights for 25min. I don't eat after 7:30 maybe a snack I'm frustrated but enough about me.

    Scalewatcher, Kiwi if you guys want to go ahead and try the challenge lets go for it Kiwi can you tweek it.

  • Okay, lets tweek this together. Since 3FC is about helping each other lose i think its very important that we encourage each other. So I think Posting is very important so I say $1.00 each time you post.

    Ladies, this game is strictly on the honor system.
    Every Friday morning we weigh in and give our total for each catergory and how much money we earned that week. The Queen will be announced Friday by 12:00 Noon. If you don't have your totals in by Friday 11:59 AM Then you lose for that week. (the last time people would wait until 11:00 pm on Friday night to post because they wanted to see what everyone did first before posting theirs )

    Now as far as Diet Pills or any type of stimulates. This needs to be a group decision. I think since stimulates are not intended to be a life long process then it could be a "negative amount" Although, if I could get my hands on some Thermal lift I would be taking those. Let's face it. Stimulates give an advantage. These pills make a difference in your motivation, eating habits, etc. So we could say it will cost you .20 cents per pill or even more.

    It doesn't hurt my feelings one way or the other.
    This is totally up to all of you. As far as I know everyone takes them but me. But like I said, if I could find some that worked for me I would be taking them.

    If there is anything you would like to add or take away or even comment on please do. Since we will discover what works as we go along. I suggest that each Friday we can tweek anything we think needs adjusting. But not in between the week and the Group must agree to it.
    Also Today is only Tuesday so lets tweek and make a decision today and start today, so we can annouce the new Queen for the week Friday by 12:00 pm



    Here are tentative rules. Check it out and start tweeking away.

    Piggy Bank Challenge Rules:

    $1.00 for each post
    .25 Cents for each 8 oz water drank
    .25 Cents for each 15 mins of stationary exercise. (like video, sit ups, equipment,Dancing)
    .25 Cents for each mile walked or Run
    .25 cents for every 2 miles on a bike
    $1.00 for every pound lost.
    Cheating will cost you .50 Cents per offense
    Stimulates will cost you .20 cents per pill

    Runs Friday to Friday

    Whoever has the most money each Friday Morning, for the week, becomes Queen for the week. (Don't spend the money yet)
    Whoever becomes Queen the rest of us must refer to her for the rest of the week as QUEEN whoever it is. Her magesty must be reconized all week by all of us. When we end our post we must always tell her magesty how great she is!! (I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! )

    On the last Saturday of each month we each go shopping "TOGETHER BUT IN OUR OWN CITIES" (We are with each other in spirit Tee hee hee) and tell each other what we bought when we post again.

  • One more thing. lets put a cap on the posting. I could post 30 times a day since I'm at home. So lets say you only can count twice a day. So I could post 30 times a day but only get $2.00 for the posting. Make sense?
  • Kiwi- Good Morning. I like the game and I think that the rules are fair. I don't take and kind of stimulates not even caffine. I only take multi-vitamins. I just want ask how is the tallying going to be done? Are we each keeping our own bank totals?

  • yes we keep our own tally.

    I found it easier to make a copy of the rules and put it on the frig. then I made a weekly calendar. I would add my money up each day based on what I earned and put it on the calendar for that day and then I would put the money in my bank. At the end of the week I would total up the money I earned that was on my calendar that way I always knew what I did to earn the money (you forget if you don't do it daily) and it was easier to tally by the end of the week.

    I like it Kiwiso every night I down what I did for the day and at the end of the week on Friday I post in the morning my total. COOL

    So we start today all print out the rules and do as you say and post it on the fridg and print a copy of my calender and let the challeng begin

    Ivy I haven't heard your opinion. Are you okay with everything? You are so on fire with your weight loss I think this will be great for you and get you losing again.

  • Is it too late to start? I would really like to join up with all of you. I need something to hold me accountable.
  • I was ready to start Tuesday but I don't think everyone got the word. We never did hear from Ivy and Mom2,

    I can wait until Friday. At least we would all be on the same page and starting at the same time. I bought more grogeries yesterday so whatever.

    But on second thought. Here is an idea.

    Why not start today and since we only have Wed and Thurs to achieve our goal. What we can do is instead of crowning a Queen. We can crown a "Little Miss Princess" and then the Real Queen will be chosen the following Friday after a whole week of work.

    "Little Miss Princess" will be chosen this Friday from the results of today and tomorrow. Friday starts a new day and the beginning of crowning a Queen.

    How about it? Start today?????

    You are just in time. Glad to have you with us.

    We are trying to decide whether to start today or wait unitl Friday. (If we wait you know everyone will pig out until Friday )

    But at least if we do wait we can get everyone on board with grogeries, etc.

    I just found this site and I think it is great!

    I have struggled with weight my entire life, name a diet I have probably been on it at one time or another.

    I am currently doing the HMR diet (Healthy Solutions) where u sub shakes for meals and eat their entrees 2nd week on the diet and I have lost 6lbs I am still trying to learn my way around this site, it there a way that I can get a notice in my email if someone has posted to this forum? or do I have to check it all the time? the answer is probably right infront of me eh?
    I work full time, I have two kids, but I can get on an visit the site M-F without a problem, weekends would be hit or miss.....but I am in.... I need to loose 60lbs to obtain my goal so count me in..... what do I need to do??
