I finally signed the 30 pound board! Down 3.5 pounds to make a total loss of 32.5. Yahoo! That was after attending a wedding, going to the movies (did have some popcorn), went out to lunch and a bbq this weekend. Whew! it was like walking through a battlefield. Instead of bullets flying around me it was food tempting me, wedding cake on the left, baked beans on the right. Watch out, that was a glass of wine coming up behind me! Oh and then there was the little mints, looking so innocent but they are like sneak attacks. Then the absence of all we need for a MRC meal. I feel like I need a medal or something! lol signing the 30 pound board was good enough!

Congratulations! Isn't it an awesome feeling to sign the board. So glad you were able to go pamper yourself you definitely deserve it. We all know this is hard work but all the healthy rewards and little things we do for ourselves is surely worth it.
The Dr. office called with my blood results, sugar levels good, cholesterol good. They would like to see the good cholesterol down 3 points (exercise) I can do it! They were very pleased and so am I.
I was so hoping to sign the 60 board today but missed by 1 pound. I will be there by Friday (I hope). I will be leaving for vacation on Sat. and don't want to leave without signing that darn board.
I think it is a pain having to go buy new bra's a leopard print sounds like it might make it more fun.

Thank you. Did some shopping and indulged in a leopard print bra! I have never owned anything as outragous as that. FYI non of my bras fit anymore so I bought some plain ones for everyday use and then that one for fun! Had a pedi and hair done last week with a massage so it was kinda like celebrating beforehand.

Good for you...we won't ask you to display your pic here though, hard telling where it would end up...lol. I can't wait to go to Victoria's Secret and finally fit in to one of their sexy bras....not the diamond laced one, but one of them...and Not White!!!

1 pound to go for that 60 pound board. It is like a tease, you can whip that one pound into submission and sign that board! And you should see about a pretty bra for that trip. Bet hubby will be shocked! how great to have someone to shock like that!
Congrats on the blood work! They want the good cholesterol down? That doesn't seem right, may be up 3 points. Good cholesterol should be higher. What a difference you have made in your health and state of mind. Can't wait to see vac pics. Proud of you for letting him take pictures, major step.

Haven't bought any new scrubs yet but I had bought a mismarked pair that said large but the tag is med. I can put them on but the sight is not pretty and I can't imagine working in them just yet! Seams probably wouldn't hold through half the shift! So, once I can put those on and not fear an explosion, I will have to get new scrubs. Already my others are really loose. They were extra large. Unfortunatey, we are confined to one color unless it is a holiday. I plan to get a pair of the cutes holiday scrubs that they make just so I can wear something different!
Oh, and is that weight only one pound from the 40 pound board? Any second we will see you signing it!

LOL... you know we were all thinking that too huh.. leopard bra etc?? JK!! Good for you, you should let him take pics... On my list of reasons to lose this weight I actually have " so I can feel comfortable having photos taken of me instead of hiding from the camera or behind others - my family deserves to have more than just a memory of me being at these events and occasions - they deserve a picture of it too!! " listed as one of reasons. I get so frustrated when I look back through photo albums and see no pics of myself at all these occasions, or I'm hiding behind someone else and it's obvious or I'm out in the open, caught off guard and it repulses me to see the size I had become. I now love when I see my pics now (or at least I'm getting better at loving it) b/c I can see how far I've come and what more I have to do. Anyways, Horray for you for this big step!!

I know what you mean about the pictures. A few years ago my husband finally talked me into being in pictures. He said that he knew I was not happy with the way I looked but him and the kids should at least be able to look back at our memories and see me in them. I then decided that I would let them take all the pics. they wanted. I just don't share them with anyone but soon I will.

A pole, hmmm, great idea! Found a portable one online for $309. Guess that doesn't include lessons! Oh, the visuals! I am so ungraceful I would probably hurt myself. Imagine the ER visit! And what shall I tell my teenage boys when I set it up in the basement? LOl, that is too good!
