Morning all! My crazy party weekend is over, so I'm working hard to stay on program this week and drop any water weight - and drop actuall pounds this week. I can do this! I am pretty hungry today. It's amazing how some bad eating starts those hunger pangs. Hope all had a good weekend.

BTW, I was at the Packer Game yesterday and it was great!

Morning Chicks

First off - Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and prayers. The colonoscopy went off without a hitch. The last thing I remember was the nurse saying 'please roll over on your side' Then I was in la-la land and didn't wake up til recovery, a whole 35 minutes later.. One polyps removed and didn't feel a thing. I guess I was alittle over anxious..
Repo Girl - Your right the cleanse was way wrose then the procedure that stuff you have to drink made me want to barf.....

The weather here in Michigan is beautiful. Time of the year to go to the cider mills, get cider and doughnuts, cany apples.......The leaves are just starting to change colors and we now have to wear jackets. When the freezing ice and snow get here my tune will change alittle

I forget who was buying weeks for $12 but that seems pretty high. I buy extra weeks when they go on sale for $5 and once I got them for $3. Actually lately I haven't had much of an appitite, not even the DC Lites taste too good to me.....

Saw the Grandbabies yesterday, well GBDave and GBKaycee. Kaycee is 9 months old, she had on long brown pants, turtle neck onesie, ugg boots and poncho - she was so cute.....Dave was dressed cute too but was more into chasing the squirls in the back yard than being fussed over.....

Okay Chicks, later........

Diane: I went grocery shopping yesterday and saw they had the new Splenda Brown Sugar, but the only thing is that it's 1/2 Splenda and 1/2 'real' brown sugar. I was very disappointed. Saw a small package and hoped it was different from the larger one - but that too is 1/2 and 1/2. I guess it would be better than the 'real stuff - but I'm holding out of the 100% version.

I want to make these bran muffins and think I can figure a way to make them OP. I'll write down the recipe and post it here. I think I could use it as a starch and fruit if I make them small enough. It would be a nice change. I seem to have been stuck with a 4" whole wheat pita thing. This weekend I splurged and purchased Thomas' Multi Grain Light English Muffins. They are 100 calories for 1, and about 6 grams of fiber. I have used 1/2 for a starch yesterday and today - it's been a rewarding switch!

I also made something different yesterday - I believe it's OP. It was the 99% fat free ground turkey, chopped an onion, garlic, sweet red pepper and a poblano pepper and cooked in a skillet. Then added no sugar catsup and regular mustard for a Sloppy Joe. I count as a Protein, Veggie and 1 or 2 condiments. It was really yummy. I put it over salad today. Do you think I counted it correctly?

Hugs, Sy

Hi Everyone. I was lurking and not planning to post today, but Star you drew me out with the What Not to Wear wannabees. I saw that last night and thought it was a hoot. My only real comment was that the nurse infuriated me for taking so much crap out of her "teammate" who kept reminding her that he was a "fashion stylist" and that she was "just" a nurse. OMG... She should have told him the first time he said that to her that she was selected as a viable competitor just like he was, so obviously they saw some talent in her. Plus she should have smacked him a couple of times for grabbing and kissing on her so much. What a fake! Okay, off my soapbox.

Here's to a POP day!...

I don't like it. It makes you look a lot heavier.

Right! But only a LITTLE! Its okay on your midriff, but only if you're wearing a tank top or a dress with skinny sleeves. Other than that, not. I think it will be short lived.

I know wouldn't that be the biggest treat to be picked.....go to NY and get all new clothes, plus hang with Stacey and Clinton........in our dreams....
After the 'wannabee' show they had a regular one on and this women was in the public eye, working for a non profit organization. Well she dressed like a bag lady, really bad, then I fell asleep and didn't see her transformation. She was one of those that was just naturally pretty so I know she came out awesome.

I HATE to admitt to this but becuz of the remote I missed too much of it to really comment......my DH doesn't like it all that much......
Mary, yes flip flops leave alot to be desired (even in Houston)...lol I wear alot of sandals with heels here in the summer and pointy toe dress boots in the winter.
Plus I think with heels it adds height and makes us look slimmer and I love boot cut pants.....
I am very quilty of wearing nice jogging suits on the weekends (without hoods) to do my running around.
Mary - I agree, I hated Brig's outfit for the 360, it was yuck....gloves and all

I have no clue, except I thought they were just short leather gloves that didn't fit the outfit and they were being funny?
