I kinda went AWOL for a little bit. I am slowing coming back. Lost 3 lbs in 3 days. Must be doing something right. I am starting off slow since I moved back to purple since I wasnt exercising or eating enough to stay on red. I have to stay under 5 hours a week which isnt a bad thing. I did a 30 minute power walk on the treadmill last night. Hoping to do the same tonight *maye will do 40 min* And then hoping to go on a LONG walk outside tomorrow if the weather is nice enough with the dbf. I will be lurking for a little bit but slowly will come back!!

Just got home from the store and bought the Carmen Electra dance striptease aerobic video. Can't wait to try it out. I told my husband I was going to get it and he said, "Why? All I have to do is tell you to strip and you do." Men.... Anyway, I will let you know how it goes. I probably should put my 3 year old down for his nap first.

Let me know your opinion on the video. I am thinking of getting it as well. I've heard conflicting opinions on it and I think I may just have to try it out myself. Anything that has you smacking your own booty can't be all bad.

Well, I screwed up and bought the 2nd disc instead of the first. It's ok though, because the second one is the "getting in shape" DVD. Had me sweating just a little ways into it. Good to know, though, that Carmen Electra was having trouble keeping up with it too. It's not bad. My whole issue with all of the workout DVDs is that you have to wait through all of the talking each time before you get started. I will keep on the lookout for the one where you "slap your own butt."

i have the striptease video, for anyone who is moderate in activity level...the video is too little of exercise...its cute and fun, and makes you feel sexy, but not a real work out...a mini workout if at that!

i did 60min fast pace walking, some uphill...

Does anyone know of a good Latin Dance type work out tape or DVD? I would like to find one that uses a few real dance steps rather than aerobic gymnastics to Latin beat music. I'd really appreciate any tips! :-)

I have the striptease dvd too, I think it is too easy, Good if you have already done some cardio and want to add some fun, but I would not do it as my only exercise.

You know what I do now? I TIVO what I would normally watch at night (Gray's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Scrubs, etc.) and then I run to it in the morning. I have found that I CANNOT exercise unless my mind is occupied, and my good t.v. at night is the only thing that does it for me! I'm too tired to exercise at night, so I do it in the morning. And I get so busy watching my favorite shows, that before I know it, it's been an hour!
