Another 10 pounds and I should be into my stack of 38 waist pants, Down from a tight 46.
The big 55 was last week, feeling great, better than I have in the last 10 years.

Everyone hang in there, stick with what is working for you and CHARGE ON!!!! Better yet CHARGE DOWN...
That is amazing Kit!!! The Docs sure love the IP!

Yup, the 38s rock! I was going to venture into the realm of 36s next time out which would be where I was in like, Grade 8! I think the waist should be OK but I'm not 100% sure of the a**! Keep up the good work Kit!!

Since we're talking pant size, wore some 34 Dockers to Church this morning that I haven't fit in for about 10 years. My dress belt with silver buckle that DW bought me 5 or 6 years ago is on the last notch and has about 2" of room between the buckle and my pants (I was on the 1st notch 3 months ago). So, 38s which were snug to 34s and I still have at least 20lbs to go.

I'm giving up all the non-IP things (MIO, Cascade Ice, etc) except for Quest Bars and I'm going to start severly limiting them (they're too danged handy though) to see if that bumps me back in to a faster loss rate. There was a seperate thread on MIO and a lot of people said it affected their losses. I was hitting it pretty good (3-4 times a day) the last couple of weeks so hoping that by dropping it I'll be releasing the weight loss brakes.

I'll be down in Plantation FL later this week. Chicago just hit its first 70 degree day, (I had my first ice Starbucks outside this year) and like you I pulled summer cloths out of storage. My fattest shorts didn't have waist buttons. Like you 3/4 of the stuff is in the trunk of the car waiting to go to Goodwill. Shopping at regular stores is awesome.

My WI is on WED. My birthday suite weight is always lowest on Monday morning. I think the stress of my job causes some water retention. So don't beat yourself up. Do you think your going to have to change you nick name from BigT to BigS?

I been pretty strict on being pure IP and my weight loss has slowed. I think if I put a 45 pound weight in a back pack and carry around all the weight I use to have, the weight loss will start back to 2-3 pounds a week. Because of cost of IP for DW and I...I put my toe in the water having purchased some Quest Bars. The purest Natural ones give me a slight headache and they are much bigger then the IP ones. So we are looking at the budget, and looking at what we can drop in expenses to keep it pure IP. Cost is not a negative thing for me with IP, it the fact I didn't start this earlier!

Stay out of trouble men!

Well lads my theory is correct! After a 9 day week where I lost 0, I followed it up with a 5 day week and lost 4lbs.

Bears you are correct...after Saturday's "explosive" results I am now BigS!!!

Hello "twothirtyderland"!!

As a former Marathon Runner I can only say I often fantasized about running Boston. It is the toughest Marathon race to get into (you have to have a qualifying time for your age), and it is the pinnacle of Marathon running. Runners have tons of memorabilia from races. But those who have run Boston always show a shirt or jacket from Boston with just a little more pride then the rest.

BTW if I was an 85 year old lady, my Marathon time would have qualified me for Boston. A friend of mine from Jacksonville IL qualified and considered it too expensive to go. I implored him to go, and he did. Fortunately he is fast and was long gone from the area at four hours and 9 minutes from the starts when the explosions occurred.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the Boston tragedy!

There are far too many dangerous people in the world today.

Just checking in. Last week had my 6th WI. Down 6#. Body fat is dropping, clothes are not fitting anymore. Naked scale said 249.8 this morning. Went to gym yesterday, but did to much yard work to got today. Sore back. Been staying OP throughout these six weeks. Drinking lots of water. Still a long ways to go, trying to stay the course.

I've got a big event in Austin this weekend. Makes me a little leary being set up in a crowded area but I'm not going to let some sick puke with a chip on their shoulder stop me from displaying my vehicles at living history events.

It is fortunate that it's taking place at Camp Mabry (National Guard base) but they can't stop and do a thorough search of every vehicle coming on post. I will be on the look out for any loose pressure cookers though.

Home from Florida. Man I did enjoy the fresh seafood! Kept my cheats very selective. Had a cocktail or two but researched the best low carb offerings. Did a lot of walking. WI tomorrow could go anyway?

Hey Bill, don't sweat it you'll get going again. I always keep a protein bar (not the IP ones they are too tasty) ready for emergencies. I like the Doctor's CarbRite bars. I am still pretty active with my son's ice hockey, ball hockey and baseball practices and I get pretty run-down pretty quick on IP. I wolf down a bar and my energy (and senses) pop right back. A couple of bars when needed are a cheat I can handle!
