Yer story is just like mine. I played HS football and rugby at a very lean 192 (6'2), decided not to play in university but instead worked out at the "unlimited" cafeteria line! It doesn't take long to screw yourself up!!

I remember watching a show about a guy who lost a ton of weight (he was like 600lbs +) then dropped to 195lbs and was the darling of the talk shows. Unfortunately, he renewed his love for "Nathan's" hot dogs and at the end of the show he had to be removed from his room using a fork lift!

If IP teaches us anything it is how to eat right and how great losing weight feels...I ain't going back to 285 that is for sure.

Not even a light from an alarm clock. I find a difference in the 3 lb nightly drop when I don't get 9 hours. Just a suggestion to monitor.

Lets take a poll. Reply with your avg weekly weight loss and avg nightly sleep and let's see if there is a pattern.

5lb avg per week. 9 hours of sleep
That is a great point Success! I've been struggling this week and I haven't slept well at all. I do generally see a big drop (usually 2-3lbs) from my weight before bed to when I wake up.

Friday morning WI. Staying very consistent. Week 10 down 3lbs for a total of 30 (steady 3lbs week avg). I've got 10 weeks to lose the other 23 to get to goal and before I leave for a week in ID. I figure Phase 2 will be easier to handle while away from home than P1 or P3.

Default Back from trip!

Well I made it back from Canada and had my WI today instead of Wednesday I followed every thing on program and lot 3.5 pounds and 3 inches I was hoping for more with the extra 2 days. Sure is nice to be home and be able to fry my veggies instead of eating them cold in the car and I was craving a blended shake instead of warm pre mix. Glad to be back with my routine. I tried to order broccoli at Hard Rock in Niagara Falls and they said it was pre sugared why would they sugar it when anyone who orders veggies would be ordering for healthy reasons. Great job everyone on the losses!!!

Welcome back home and sorry to hear about the broccoli that's crazy!

I am down 7 lbs in my first week and definitely in ketosis (got some ketostix) so I'm doing good. First weigh in is Tuesday.

Morning Men, had 2 days down with the flu, not a fun time. Feeling better today.
WI in this morning. Down total of 63 pounds, should hit my half way point by next weekend. I will have to do some picture updates then.
I am happy with my 3 pounds a week. I do extra meat each day. I look at this as a total change of lifestyle, if it takes longer. I will just be more used to eating correctly.
Everyone have a great week.

I've been a relatively slow loser at 3lbs per week so if you manage just that you'll be close to goal in 10 weeks!

I wish I'd had this diet 30 years ago and have to really stop myself from just walking up to people to tell them about it. Doubt that'd go over real well with lots of folks
