I would also love to know what anyone thinks of the new flavored mayos if they get the chance to try them. Especially as compared to the original one

OK. Here is the album of the cake making... The only thing that isn't edible is the tunnel (well, and the train).

I went to the new clinic this morning and LOVED it. The girl was super nice and i explained what happened with my old coach and she was stunned. She said that it could happen often that i will plateau and even if i lose 1lb, its a loss and fantastic. I feel much better going there as the other place was stressing me out and i felt like it was a test and i wasn't doing good enough.

So WI#5 this morning, -7.2 I had weight myself at home and had the same number so i was happy and she also told me before weighting that their scale seems to weight around 2lbs more than anyone else's scale so i was happy to see that it was the same as mine.

For Quebec people, she told me that they don't sell the WF products anymore as Maxi sells them and they are in the Kosher section. I'm going to check that out today!

AWESOME!!....I said it would come off when your body wanted to let it go didn't I?...haha....Just gotta give it time, everything will work out! I am glad you are enjoying your new coach, its a great feeling when you like your coach and she is helpful.

Right now this storm is just sitting in the Gulf and spinning so its causing lots of rain and flooding, Hopefully it will start moving soon. The rain has stopped here for now but will start up again soon I am sure.

Alrighty,

Congrats to Redhead down 50 Big Ones
Congrats to Jordanna down 60 Big Ones
Congrats to Busymom for getting that scale moving.

Well, I called my coach yesterday, because I couldn't make it on time to weigh in and guess what, she stayed over to wait for me. Very nice of her. I lost ZERO, had a long talk, she said if I don't start losing, I should phase off and get my thyroid numbers back on track and start back. We will see. She doesn't want me eating any peppers, except green peppers this week and she had me buy (of course) Novilax, she thinks I must be backed up, never in my life have I been backed up. We will see, I don't think it is healthy to use any kind of laxatives, but she said it is common on this diet.

I sure hope you all in the south are spared all the rain and flooding.

I tried making chips with turnips and that didn't turn out so well (will try again), but I bought some kale today and cooked them up with sea salt and those are great! crunchy and will work nicely with my very small hamburger minus bun I'm having tonight.

I'm into W3, so I'm still experimenting on what foods can become similar to others. Keep experimenting. I'm finding great recipes here. Good luck!

I make turnip fries....

Turnip Fries
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Peel turnips and cut into strips
Spray a cookie sheet covered with foil. Lay the fries on the foil. Spray further with cooking
spray season with spices of choice. Bake for 15 min, turn & continue to bake for another 10
– 15 minutes until done

I have done it that way and I have also cut them into strips, put them in a ziploc back with a little EVOO, sea salt and other seasoning. Coat them well then put them on a cookie sheet

Has anyone experienced a problem with IE8 locking up while on this forum? I never had a problem until the past few days. I am not having trouble with any other websites. Any ideas? This is driving me crazy. It actually locks up my whole computer.

I'm in one of those sad dark places that exist in my head...I think it's a good night to watch PS I Love You. I'll laugh. I'll cry. Maybe it'll sort my head out. Barring that, it's gonna take a huge bowl of popcorn and a coke for me to shift gears. Here's hoping the movie works

I think I cut the turnips too thin. Also dumb question (and I looked in the FAQ and couldn't find it) what is EVOO?
