Greetings from inside TS Lee! I haven't floated away...at least not yet. Yesterday wasn't too bad where I live just north of New Orleans. I actually got to spend some time outdoors in the sunshine. These storms are so weird. Seems I was in the clear zone while folks to the east of me got it real bad. Today I may not be so lucky. The center of circulation is just to the south and east of me....going to be moving very slowly over the top of me. Sustained winds are not too high but praying the trees on the south side of my house decided NOT to lose any of their beautiful branches, especially on my roof. No power loss (fingers crossed) and still riding 100% OP strong. Stress level is manageable but I sure wish I could of opened that bottle of Pinot Grigio in my pantry last night.

I ended up putting 26lbs and 7.3% bodyfat back on since May and after our 5 year old son passing away. I had to get off the program due to costs and now I am back on using alternative products.

Just wanted to say hello once again and thank you to all of the "old timers" on here for keeping this wonderful support site going.
I'm a "new timer" but wanted to say how sorry I am about your loss, but pleased to see you're in a place to focus on this. I've been lurking for weeks and just joined, but have found the tone of this forum to be the most supportive of any I've been part of

This is my first day. Had Wildberry Yougurt for breakfast. Still hungry. Can I eat some viggies as well?

YankeeFan - I can't imagine what you've gone through, keep the happy memories in your heart. Congratulations on taking the first step back and coming here. I'm moving to alternatives too as my weight loss has slowed right down now that I'm close to goal and it's taking longer than I thought.

DollFace - so, your indiscretion caused indigestion - lesson learned Moving along.............

Vernon - welcome to the IP family!

I have a question:
1) How many carbs does the omelet have? The box I bought says 7g, and the website says 3 g.
2) How many carbs in the soy patty?

Also since these two items are so high in carbs, can I have one of each as part of my three IP packets? 'Coz then I have very little room for my carbs in veggies and dinner protein. I am a strict vegetarian, hence more confused.

Please help.

R

You can have veggies if you like, just so you have 4 cups a day. Maybe try fixing yourself a salad as well to get some of that hungry away. Drink your water, add some lemon with your water for a different taste. Hang in there it gets better!

I am just a little east and getting hammered with rain right now. I live in an apartment so I don't have to worry about trees because I live on the first floor. I guess I would have to worry about flooding but the drainage is pretty good and I am kinda on a hill. We have had 2 tornado's already just a few miles from here so that is more of what we are worried about. I know already that my closet is the safest place since its in the middle of the building, smallest and no windows! Stay safe cat!

Default Question/Idea

Are Pickles a free food or do I count those with my 2 cups of veggies?

I picked up pill holders to measure out my weekly supplements and I had an extra one so I measured out my salt for the week in one of those. It worked great.

Some say pickles are free some say they are not, just depends on your coach again...for me they are free, I mean I can't have a whole jar but I can have a few depending on size. If I would eat a whole jar then I would count it as a veggie.

Thats a good idea about the pill holders

Birthday party over. New avatar picture. Yes, that's me in a bathing suit handing out cake to toddlers. The cake was a huge hit, with parents and children alike.

Has anyone tried making the vanilla chai mousse from Finland Steve's recipe? It says to use 1-3 t. of splenda, which seemed like a lot. I used less than 1 t. and it was so sweet, I couldn't finish it! That's a first for me. I think my taste buds are changing. It makes me wonder if I'm actually going to want all of the stuff I think I will on my free days.
