I get a coffee (hot or iced.. venti or the largest size and only 2/3 full) then I add 1 or 2 splenda ( or if they have a sugar free liquid flavor sweetener 2 pumps of that) and add 1 of the ready made vanilla drinks.
When I am at home I take about 10 oz of coffee, 4 cubes or so of ice, 2 french vanilla stevia, and 1 of the ready made vanilla drinks and blend it really well. YUMMY!
I do the same with the cappucino drink then I pour it in a cup, warm it in the micro.. ALSO YUM! You can freeze then and then reblend for a cappucino shaved ice. Add some of the Walden farms chocolate or some chocolate extract and it is a bit like a mocha ice.

You all should be concerned for my sanity. I don't think I've ever dreamed of eating food before!

I dreamed of food frequently when I started this program! It usually means I am well into ketosis! I find I have the biggest losses the weeks I dreamt of food.

But if I am askign a question, is there any way to go back straight to posts that addresses my question?
Here it goes: I know even Atkins is not as unrestricted as it was before where it comes to fat grams but has any one looked to see how many grams of fat, carbs and protein are allowed in phase one? Of course it may depend on do you have 50 or 100 pounds to lose but from what i have gathered, that really isn't the case. So, what is the answer?

You are welcome! and, No, unfortunately, I don't know how you can search just for responses to your questions. I did like that you set up a different thread for just your question. It actually is a great idea an make important, not casual, questions stand out, easier to find, respond to, and follow up.
In phase 1, the best I can tell, we get about.... 48grams of fat on our highest fat days. That would be on the high side using 1 tbsp of omega or olive oil (14g per), and 3 of the ready made vanilla or chocolate drinks which are the highest fat items IP makes for phase 1 at 4g each. And adding 22g fat for salmon (we are only allowed after week3 and only 3x a week according to my coach. In general beef is 11g per 5oz, chicken is very roughly 9g per 5 oz, other nonfatty fish is 15 g per 7 oz, and shellfish/shrimp is 6 grams for 7oz).
If you work the numbers on the low side I think it works out to about 14 to 15grams of fat per day AND THAT IS USING 2tsp olive oil or omega, the nonfat IP items, and 7oz of shrimp. There are only trace levels of fat in the veggies we are allowed.
I have not seen anything that varies the amount of fat by person but, that seems to be corrected for when a coach says "take more omega oils."

I have found similar vitamins by source naturals but they ARE NOT less expensive. Actually they are more expensive by about 3 dollars. I like the jigsaw calcium and magnesium or source naturals for that too. They are a high quality very bioavailable product but, again, not less costly. I haven't looked for a different potassium.
I think BEVs did some research and maybe CHIMPCHAMP so, perhaps they will answer to their findings. If OGDOG, BIRMAN, or TORCHLAKER were lurking they might chime in on what their research found about alternate vitamins.

try this recipe. It will be quite moist. You can vary the ingredients too. I sometimes use an italian herb style or lemon pepper instead of garlic/ginger. If you put your veggies like zucchini, mushroom, or onion in the parchment they add flavor and cook well.. Makes for easy clean up. As far as "smell" burn a nice vanilla candle while cooking it helps a bit with the odors.
Baked Tilapia In Parchment
Ready In: 30-60 minutes
Ingredients:
2 fish fillets
2 sheets parchment paper (foil will work too)
Olive oil
1 small red pepper cut in thin slices or 1 coarsely chopped tomato
2 teaspoons garlic and/or scallions
Fresh ginger – chopped fine
Salt & pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425F. Put the dried tomatoes in very hot water.
Wash the fillets off and put aside. Take a piece of parchment paper, fold in half and place open on the counter top. Spread a little oil (1-2 teaspoons) on one side, near the crease, in a spot big enough to cover the fish. Place one fillet on this spot of olive oil.
Chop up the scallions (or about one clove of garlic finely chopped very fine and put about 1 tablespoon on the fish). Coarsely chop the tomatoes or make slices of the red pepper and put about a small amount on the fillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. If you have some ginger, chop it up and sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon on the fillet.
Fold up the parchment around the fish, crimping along the edge. Place on the cookie sheet when done. Repeat for other fillet/s.
Place cookie sheet/s in the oven and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the parchment is golden brown. Carefully open the parchment to serve.
This plates up very nicely with southern style greens (collards, turnip, mustard, beet) or some wilted spinach. Maybe a side of cauliflower rice or some turnip fries or rutabaga mashed potatoes.
YOU COULD also do Tilapia in the oven as a blackened style
